Thanks Wes! I finally got all the pieces that I needed. Yeah, I'm not a complete techno-idiot anymore! 8) -
Photo from your first theme park visit...
moinab replied to disneygurlz2s's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Here are some photos of first visits to MK. Rhiannon's first visit to MK, for her first birthday. Christian's first ride on the monorail. Here I am on my first visit to MK - 1978. Are those sunglasses priceless, or what? -
Ok, I think I've corrected my previous post, and now I'm going to try another one. The quality is iffy because it's a photo of a photo, but this is one of my favorite pictures of me and my daughter, Rhiannon.

Hi Shari! Congrats on getting your photos posted! I've got the resizing thing down, but when I tried to post, I got the dreaded red x. Where do you upload the photos? -
I just turned *cough* 37. I'm probably older than his mom! When I was 12, we listened to records. GASP!
-
ARRRRGH! It worked for a second, and then it turned into a red x. That has to do with where the photo is, correct? Where should I upload the photo to, to avoid this?
-
Edited to say I think I really got it, this time. Thanks Robb!

The pub I used to manage serves Pepsi. We couldn't get a good enough deal with the Coke people. I have to say, though, I never once heard anyone try to order a mixed drink with Pepsi. It's always "rum and Coke," or whatever. Also, we never bothered to clarify that it was Pepsi, not Coke, unless it was ordered without alcohol. So, if you ever need a stiff drink with Pepsi, head to Lynch's in Jax Beach.

Yea!!!!! Thank you so much for posting this. I managed to download it and successfully resized a picture!!! Ummmm, now what do I do? How do I go about posting a resized photo? Thank you so much for assisting the technologically challenged!

I must have feet of steel, because I wear flip-flops (or wool clogs, if it's chilly) and never have any problems. Maureen "17 trips to WDW last year" O'Donnell

For me, it doesn't matter what you look like or who you are attracted to, or whatever. What really matters is how you treat others. As far as I'm concerned, a "decent" person is someone who treats others with respect. {{{{hugs}}}} to you, AllisonY2K. I'm happy to be here with you.

Hmmmm, I grew up in MA, and I would say Coke was definitely more popular. That also goes for the 10 years that I spent in Minneapolis. Or maybe Coke people just tend to gravitate toward each other? I've known a few Pepsi lovers, but they have definitely been a minority, in my experience. Interesting.....

You most certainly are better looking! But there is a striking resemblance.

Thank you for the birthday wishes! Wish I could say I had a great day, but my 4 year old ran away from the babysitter's house (taking my 2 year old with him). They were found after 10 minutes, but this is the second time he has done this in the past few months. Maureen "I need a stiff birthday drink" O'Donnell -
Diet Coke for me. Diet Pepsi is vile. My husband is a Coke man, but we will both drink Pepsi if there is no other choice. Maureen "but never diet Pepsi!!!" O'Donnell

Boston Cream Pie is one of my favorite desserts. Despite the name, however, it is actually cake, not pie. It's two-layer yellow cake, with custard in between, topped with chocolate ganache. MMMMMMMMM. My birthday is Thursday, and I get Boston Cream Pie for my birthday cake every year!!!! The meat pie we make is actually a combination of ground pork, ground beef, and onions, with seasonings and a little filler (mashed potatoes or bread crumbs) baked in a double crust pie. May is a great time to visit Orlando. The weather is not too hot, yet, and the crowds are not too bad. I would avoid the last week of May, however, due to Memorial Day weekend crowds.
-
My grandparents were all French Canadian, so we have a big meat pie tradition. For Christmas Eve, we always have a ground pork meat pie (smothered in chili sauce - mmmmmmmmm. Is it Christmas, yet?)

Bleh. Cantaloupe taste like feet. I'm voting for watermelon. Soren- I love your posts!!! They are always a grab bag of fun - never know what we're going to get! Maureen "where's the favorite sausage poll?" O'Donnell

ITA I never experienced AE. I love Lilo and Stitch. I was 100% disappointed in SGE because they didn't put any effort into it. I thought the animatronics were pathetic - Tiki Bird level. I mean, come on - it's 2005! Couldn't they have done something better? Disney Imagineers are capable of so much more than this lame piece of crap.

No Orlando for us this year, either! Too busy with school and work. Maureen "we're doing a DCL cruise next year, though" O'Donnell
