Photo help.. (or, please help the digitally challenged!)
moinab replied to disneygurlz2s's topic in Ask Alvey
Shari- Thanks for posting this question. I have a digital camera, but I don't have Photoshop, and my software doesn't resize images. I'd love to post photos, but I'm still technologically challenged ( and that link Slushie posted scared me ) Maureen "determined to overcome my technophobia" O'Donnell -
Wow! Where do they have those? Maureen "they're $0.49 hamburger Wednesdays here" O'Donnell

"Hundeprutter" sounds so much better than "dog farts." -
^Crispy, I love that picture of your baby! He's so cute!!

LOL! I was wondering how I missed that you were now "flying around the world!" Maureen "I tend to miss a lot between work, school, and the kids" O'Donnell

WDW resort guests do not have to pay for parking. You get a parking pass when you check in. (I hate buses.) Don't eat at Sea World!!! The food is horrible. If your are looking for counter service, our favorite food at MK (besides cream cheese pretzels) is at Columbia Harbour House, across from Haunted Mansion. If you are going to AK, don't miss Pizzafari. Even if you don't eat there, just go in and walk through all the rooms.

Thanks! I was just saying to my friend yesterday how much I loved that song, as I was showing the video to her kids!

Another Death at Disney!
moinab replied to DenDen's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
BTW, WDW does have big signs plastered all over the rides, telling you not to ride if you are pregnant, have back, neck, heart problems, a pacemaker, etc. Is it their fault if people choose to ignore them? Should we just close down the parks because people can't take any personal responsibility in this country? Maybe Disney should require everyone to present a medical clearance from his/her physician before being allowed in the park. -
I'm so sorry to hear this. I love his webcam. He is certainly one very special little rodent, with fans all over the world. Maureen

I can't post a WR, either, because I'd get fired and sued. I don't think you'd want to see it, though. -Here I am, emptying a bedside commode. -Here I am, taking a rectal temperature. -Here I am, taking a blood glucose reading. Whoo-hoo! FUN!!!

^^ ITA. Stitch's Great Adventure is truly awful. I never got to experience AE, but I love Lilo and Stitch, so it was a huge disappointment. I'm proud to say that, as much as my kids love Toy Story 2 and Nemo, they LOVE the classic Mickey cartoons. It is so funny to watch them acting out Chip and Dale! Sorry I can't really comment on the topic - I've never been to DL.

OK, one more time, they are not scanning your fingerprint. What's the big deal? I honestly do not see the "invasion of privacy" thing. This is not information that can be used to track you or positively identify you, only to link you to your ticket. We had FL resident seasonal passes for WDW last year. My only problem with the system, as YoshiFan mentioned, is that 2/3 of the time, it didn't work for me. :?

^Thanks for the detailed and informative explanation!

After reading your TRs, I would think Dan could certainly benefit from packing a shower cap on your next trip!

Thank you for sharing your trip with us. I'm thoroughly enjoying the trip reports and photos. (I should probably be studying, but this is so much more fun! ) Maureen -
Beverly tastes something like aspirin dissolved in tonic water. The watermelon soda from China is the best!

Just a head's up - many US car rental companies, such as Avis, have age restrictions (usually 25).

How Old Are You & What Was Your 1st Coaster?
moinab replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Hi! I've been lurking for a while, after linking from the DIS. My first coaster, excluding kiddie coasters, was the Wildcat at Riverside. I was probably 10-12ish. It induced severe coaster phobia in me, which I demolished only 2 years ago, by riding Kraken. I'm proud to say my timid 4 year old son has already been on Goofy's Barnstormer and Big Thunder Mountain here in FL. My fearless 2 year old daughter can't wait to be tall enough for everything!
