  1. Oh, cool, more stuff for enthusiasts to overanalyze. Whee! Nothing seems out of the ordinary here in my eyes, but dang, Shanghai DL must be an INSANE success to already get eighth globally. It's only, what, three years old? Good for them!
  2. ^^ That's great, lmao. Took a bit of inspiration from yours to sh*t on Universal again.
  3. BREAKING NEWS: In light of the recent incidents at Mount Olympus, the park management decided to completely rebrand the park.
  4. Well, that's good to hear! Nice to see this park almost... ...oh.
  5. Want To, Bad - Mass Gothic
  6. In honor of Mother's Day... (crude humor warning) [youtu_be] [/youtu_be]
  7. Finally saw Infinity War last night. I liked it, not the best Marvel movie to date, but it was still good. And no, I'm not gonna spoil it, but... I... It... Hwoof. I need a therapist.
  8. The "madmax" levels are strong with this one. #BoycottBGW
  9. The best trick for any otsr is to keep your head way forward so your head never makes contact with them. I don't know about you, but when it comes to a ride as snappy as an SLC, I'd take a blow to the head over snapping your neck any day, thank you very much.
  10. I'm honestly conflicted by this. On one hand, it's cool to see the ride getting some love, apparently it was needed. On the other hand, if they remove most of the animatronics in favor of screens I will sue.
  11. Mmm, reference to my second favorite coaster. Great report as always, Bill. SFNE looks like a blast.
  12. ^^ Yeah, you're right. I know I'm kinda preaching to the choir, but I'm just sick of enthusiasts always trying to argue about something no matter what.
  13. All three parks in the "probably" category are now 100% confirmed. It's about to be one hell of a summer.
  14. TFW there is unequivocal proof that Beast is actually BETTER in 2018 than it was opening year. Also Old Timers Claiming to Have Trimless Beast Rides BTFO; it's always had them. So you are saying that the ride in 2018 is better because you get a longer ride.... That's... not at all what they're saying. This is one of the stupidest things I've ever read on this site.
  15. Honestly I couldn't care less of the theme, but a family spinning coaster would be perfect for BGW. Something for the kiddos that aren't tall enough for InvadR but are too old for Alpine Express. Me likey.
  16. "Poopy-di scoop Scoop-diddy-whoop Whoop-di-scoop-di-poop Poop-di-scoopty Scoopty-whoop Whoopity-scoop, whoop-poop Poop-diddy, whoop-scoop Poop, poop Scoop-diddy-whoop Whoop-diddy-scoop Whoop-diddy-scoop, poop" -William Shakespeare
  17. One of the best songs released this year. Fun fact- I was just watching/listening to the video a minute ago when I came across a comment that theorized the meaning behind the video. Paraphrased, he said that in the video Donald was supposed to represent America- making tragedies happen, shooting innocent people, etc- and everyone else riots and mourns for 5-10 second then goes back to celebrating. It's all supposed to be a metaphor for mass shootings/attacks and how the public reacts. That's deep. It makes me love it even more.
  18. Listen girl, Big Thunder Mountain might be right over there, but I can assure you that I'm the wildest ride in the wilderness. I want to apologize for any cringing/headaches/nausea/internal bleeding/etc caused by the phrase above

  20. Damn it, you're right. I tried and I failed. Ignore me.
  21. Why not? They spent 10 million on Wild Thing in 1996. In adjusted inflation dollars for 2018 that would be $15,905,289.99 today. If they did it once 22 years ago they can do it again if they want. Counterargument; there's a certain other Cedar fair park about 450 miles from Valleyfair that built the second longest wooden coaster in the world at the time in 1998, and it cost $4,500,000. Adjusting for inflation, if they built it today, it would cost $6,873,984.66. That's relatively cheap for a new coaster, but that doesn't mean they're gonna do it again anytime soon.
  22. Hey hey hey, lookie here! Did not expect to see an announcement this soon, looks like an awesome improvement over Happy Harbor. One thing that does strike me weird is that they didn't put any theming into the area that's related to the park. Not a complaint by any means, but it does kind of stick out to me. I mean, BGT has the Safari theme, BGW has the forest/kingdom/whatever theme, and the other two SeaWorlds (San Antonio and San Diego) have Bay of Play... what stopped them from just doing an ocean theme? I'd imagine that they could also save a ton from keeping some existing structures if they took that route (i.e. the ship and the Sea Carousel). Again, not complaining, but it does feel a bit odd to me.
