  1. Batwing really isn't worth it. I'd go straight to Superman and get in 3 or 4 rides.
  2. Best: Dueling Dragons @ IoA Mr Freeze @ Texas (I think St. Louis is the same) but only when they have the AC set to 65 - opening year it was like that, but my last visit it was just average temp ET @ USH (i never saw the one at USF) Indiana Jones @ DLR - unfortunately, I think the Fast Pass system has really ruined the queue for this. They make everyone wait outside the temple, and you usually end up missing the pole room, rope room, and Sala's video Muppet Vision @ DCA Tower of Terror @ MGM Worst: as much as I love Holiday World, their lines are *way* too small - small as in width Disaster Transport is a sorry attempt Batman - The part after the tunnels is too long. First year (when it would be full) was just a mass of people walking left to right.
  3. Does SFGam have any Fast Pass, Fast Lane, or Lo-Que type stuff?
  4. how bad are the lines on a usual sunday?
  5. topic says it all I'm going to SFGam on sunday. I already have a season pass, so admission is taken care of. Anything like Low-Q or Fast Pass? What kind of wait times should I expect for Superman and Raging Bull? SFOG is my home park - so I don't need to ride Superman more than once. I'd like to get on Raging Bull at least 3 times (no hypers at SFOG). I'm ok with just 1 ride on all the others.
  6. I'm getting just a little bit of lag - but I'm at a hotel with "highspeed" internet. Not sure how fast it actually is, so it could be on my end. overall, I like it
  7. happy birthday wes your avatars rock
  8. what? Sega CD old? I think not. I still own a Sega CD and 32X - after that I got an Xbox (yea, I skipped a few consoles - got into PC) Am I the only one who thinks the Xbox 360 has the potential for huge suckness? ONLY wireless controllers? Am I understanding this right? What happens if there is a tournament - that sounds like a disaster of wireless signals being crossed. Also, I like my consoles to lay flat. The standing up design just doesn't work for me. I have a nice electronics rack in my home theater, if I had an Xbox 360 at the top standing up like that, it would just look silly. So if I ever do get an Xbox 360 (which won't be until it drops to $150 or Halo 3) I will take it out of that case and put it in an original Xbox case. What platform is the Nightmare Before Christmas game for?
  9. ^^ the "meet and greet" was awesome! And the handpuppet was probably the funniest thing I've seen on a coaster. Where did you get the puppet? Did you bring it with you, or did they sell them in the park? Robb or Elissa - do you send out a confirmation email for the videos you receive?
  10. I remember hearing the pod racer rumor years ago. That just sounds like a terrible idea. I hated the pod racing scene. Most Star Wars fans I've talked to are on the same page. And it really may not be *that* bad. It's just that most of Episode I was such a disappointment. Bret "especially Jake Lloyd" Pritchett
  11. Very nice shots of the ride! How did you get so much footage of empty trains? Do you work at the park?
  12. sounds fun! I wish I could go. Are you using the bad ass theater room in your apartment building?
  13. Great idea! I'll bookmark it and try to remember to write down my wait times when I'm in the park (otherwise I'll never remember!)
  14. does someone like Avril? I can't tell I think floorless are better than a regular looping coaster - but they aren't great. I just have a hatred for OTSR. I have not been on one train with OTSR that lets both me and the person next to me put our arms up comfortaby. Not to get too far off topic, but does anyone else think that it wouldn't be too hard for B&M to change their looping coasters like Wildfire, Kumba, Hulk, Dragon Kahn,.... umm well I guess thats all.... to a floorless style? Just an idea. A park could use "now floorless" for advertising - it would almost be like a new ride.
  15. just checking edit: yep - it's working I still have my avatar and sig - I'm happy
  16. Dueling Dragons edges out Alpen in my book
  17. It's really silly that SFMM get away with the "16 coaster" title. Flashback is only open when the water park is closed. Has Deja Vu been anymore reliable lately?
  18. ^ the only problem with that is you get a SFOG coupon book - it won't be good at any other Six Flags. I use up almost all of the "bring a friend for free" passes at SFOG every year.
  19. Mind Bender - lap bars only!
  20. ok, you really have to get your avatar set up as your IMDB pic! Aladdin on Genesis was one of my favorites. I haven't played it in years. That level where I had to fly the carpet through the lava annoyed the hell out of me. How did you get away with that Iago "easter egg"?
  21. ^^^ well I'm bored, so you can blame me I haven't been sick in over a year, so whenever my roomate gets sick, he blames me because I "deflect the germs" at him but if I really could deflect germs, I'd get a some gig as a super hero Bret "feel better " Pritchett
  22. I think Meg Whitman would have been great. I saw a story on her (I think on 20/20) she has a great work ethic. She doesn't have a special corner room with a view, she has a cubicle, just like everyone else at the office.
  23. That looks awesome. I have a feeling if I was there and about to ride it, I might chicken at the last minute. but as long as Paul Rueben says its ok, then I'll go!
  24. ok, enough with coasters, this forum is about donkeys too so which is your favorite? Abyssinian Mammoth Jack Stock Poitou Mary Donkey Miniature Jennets English Standard Large Standard photos courtesy of Oklahoma State University and lovelongears.com
