  1. Umm, that's quite difficult to answer......I can't choose just one, but I can choose the best ones out of a ceartin category: Best Inverted: Alpengiest @ Busch Gardens Williamsburgh, USA Best Terrain Hyper: Phantom's Revenge @ Kennywood Park, USA Best Floorless: Hydra: The Revenge @ Dorney Park, USA Best Stand-Up:Mantis @ Cedar Point, USA Best Giga: (That's Easy) Millennium Force @ Cedar Point, USA Best (all around) Looper: Raptor @ Cedar Point, USA Best Woodie: Villian @ Geauga Lake, USA Best Strata: Top Thrill Dragster @ Cedar Point, USA (Kingda Ka was closed the 4 times that I visted SFGAdv. This summer)
  2. Same here. I'd would rather see a B&M Floorless or another B&M Inverted with a nice array of inversions...maybe even some "world first's" inversions thrown in too. Tired of the same ol' (Loop, Dive Loop or Immleman, Zero-G-Roll or Heartline, Cobra Roll, MCB, Interlocking Corkscrews on the B&M's).....though B&M has quite a few very original coasters..(Hydra, Superman: Krypton Coaster, Wildfire, Incredible Hulk, Dueling Dragons, Silver Star, Silver Bullet, Nitro, Daemon ect..)
  3. *Raging Bull* -Both B&M's -Both are Mega Coasters -Both are 75 mph. -Both angle of decent are 65 Degrees -Both Built in 1999 -Both Sit-down
  4. I'd have to say the Phantom's Revenge at Kennywood Park...It's former self (Steel Phantom) broke all the records. Phantom's Revenge is Awesome now that there is a lap bar and the inversions are gone (even though I loved them). The overall re-design kicks ass. Limegreen...Rocks. My second would be Villian at Geauga Lake. I don't think it broke any records, it's overall ride is fun. I love the first 2 drops and the trick-track manuver. The look also attracts me to it...Wooden track with steel structure, looks nice.
  5. Personally, I don't think that Cedar Point or Islands of Adventure is overratted. Both Parks bring in greater numbers of people than that of a buch of parks I could name (PKIsland, PKDominion, BGWilliamsburgh, SFGreat Adventure, SFAmerica, SFNew England...ect) the list goes on.. Both parks are very well kept (as are others) and both produce top notch food imo. CP has kick ass coasters, a kick ass water park & indoor water park, kick ass thrill rides, great food, comfy hotels and a wonderful park atmosphere..what more could you want out of a park besides a little themeing here and there. Cp may lack on themeing, but picks up the slack with it's wonderful array of rides. As for IOA...All of their coasters are awesome..(yeah even the flying unicorn)..wonderful themeing, again clean, nice atmosphere, great food and the park is in Florida for pete sake, more costly efficent than Walt Disney World. What More Can You Want?...
  6. Telling him that he shouldn't pursue in starting his own theme park because it's "nearly" impossible unless you are rich, Is like say the same that I can't pursue becoming a Roller Coaster Designer. My college classes are for becoming a Computer Engineer..but that's just the beginning...there are alot of steps to take in order to become a Coaster Designer..as well as a Park Owner. Now I know of a few parks that are owned by families and have started without much...but now has become sucessful....so with all that said...Anything is possible....you don't have to be rich..BUT it would be nice if you were.
  7. Hey Liss, (short for Elissa) Can you change my rank to "LIVE It. LIKE It. LOVE It.!" Please & Thank You..

  9. Here are the Coasters that I have last rode as of June 25th, 2005 in the following order: Phantom's Revenge, Jack Rabbit, Thunderbolt, Racers & The Exterminator (Not Pictured). All At My Home Park: Kennywood Here are the Coaster(s) that I last have ridden.
  10. I'd gave to say B&M hands down!! Here's My order of Fav's: 1.) Bolliger & Mabillard (been on 29 B&M's out of 61) 2.) Intamin AG (been on 17 Intamin's out of 74) 3.) Chance-Morgan (been on 5 Morgan's out of 9) 4.) Premier Rides (been on 5 Premier's out of 17) 5.) Vekoma (been on 19 Vekoma's out of 232) I Like Wood Coasters Also, But I Love Steel Coasters!
  11. My Home Park is Kennywood Park (Just Went Yesterday 6-25-05) I live 20 minutes from Kennywood Park, 15 Minutes from Sandcastle Water Park & 5 Minutes from Downtown Pittsburgh, PA.....(I Live Behind A Highway.....But Oddly it's fairly quiet most of the time....except when there are car accidents...of course! It was hot as all h*ll when I visted KP yesterday...sometimes I find myself wondering...Why..Why do I visit parks during the blundering heat? And then it hit me...For The COASTERS!! Phantom, as always rocked...it would have been even better had my sister not barfed on me mid-course.....wasne't her fault though...It was the cheese fries, lol. David "Don't Let Bacon-Bits Cheese Fries Be The First Thing You Consume" Knight Jr.
  12. Stan, Cartman & Mr. Macky....mmmkay.
  13. I'd have to say Dorney...don't get me wrong I like all of the parks, but hydra was awesome and it's a must ride.....but then again..Hershey has Storm Runner...another must ride. The inversions on that puppy are wicked! But basically, It kinda depends on how much money you are willing t spend.
  14. Batman: Dark Knight @ Six Flags New England

  16. I have on nothing...
  17. Well I'm currently working on a drawing of a coaster type that I have invented.....for now i'll call it either Infloor or Floorvert.....The idea is complex... Here..picture it.....It's a Inverted coaster right, but on top of the inverted track (were supports are usually attaced) there will be a Floorless Coaster attatched, and following the same coaster layout as the Inverted, making for the same coaster layout but with a diffrent experience. have you ever ridden a coaster and often wonder how it would feel or how fun or scary it would be if it were made into a different coaster type....like....an inverted Top Thrill Dragster, or a Stand-Up Millennium Force.....weird..yes..but it makes you wonder...... What Do You All Think......have any neat designs of your own?
  18. Here are a few more pics of me: My Mom (Above me), Me (In The Middle, Looking rather tired) and my two Sisters (on Either Side, Taken 6-21-02) The Picture Says It All (Taken 5-7-05)
  19. That maybe true, but who's to say for example. You are in the park, and a bullet wizzed pass your head by 2 inchs, but it was intended for one of the gun-fighting-idiots in the parking lot, are you telling me that you wouldn't be scared or worried?? people are gonna be scared when things like that happen, because dorks like those guys in the parking lot as well as guns are very unpredictable...anything could have happened, they could have shot the people at the top of the water slide or even the park operator at the top as well. Thing like this is so damn tryflin' that it ain't even serious.
  20. They never really scared me, but last year when i visted Geagua Lake and took a slide down the (almost vertical slide) in hurricane harbor, i guess you can say it scared the sh*t out of me, not because it was vertical and stomach churning but, because I kept leaning forward to see how far down I was going to the point that i leaned a little to far forward and my whole body them wasen't even touching the slide for a few seconds that took the wits out of me, because like the park employee said as he greeted me when i came to a stop "if you would have leaned anymore, you would have flew over the side of the slide".
  21. My Top 10 Coasters are in the following order: 1. Millennium Force 2. Phantom's Revenege 3. Hydra: The Revenge 4. Alpengeist 5. Mantis 6. Raptor 7. Silver Star 8. Nitro 9. Scream! 10. Medusa (SFGAdv)
  22. Even though I wouldn't mind having either of them, The Nintendo Revolution & X-box 360 would be the consoles i'm waiting for, but i voted for the Revolution because I love Nintendo, and I think that the Rev. is going to be a great console this time around...ot that GameCube wasen't...just no as competitive.
