Me at Cedar Point a few weeks back (May 13/14) Me & Mantis!

Well, i'm still a bit mad that it was closed when I was there opening weekend.... (Pic I took May 13th)....I was so looking forward to the heartline roll out of the canyon. Oh wel....

I'm glad there''s a season two...season one was hilarious...I've recorded the new 1st episode on my DVR....i'll have to watch it later..

^pretty cool room I don't know about where you live....but majority of the people in the US probably have tv's in their room....besides...in my house, everybody likes to watch different things,,,,and what better way to do that than watch your own tv, in your own room!

Non-Smoker...I guess I take after my mom...I can't even eat or drink infront of a ash tray.. I took one of my dads Newport cigarettes while he was sleeping when I was like 12, I guess I was curious...I lit it...took a puff and was gagging..he woke up and slapped me in the back of the head...from then on, I hate cigarettes lol.

I was bored and decided to re-arrange my room and post some pics.... Some of my coaster collection My desk, laptop, PSP and various other kinck knacks My dresser & bed with a chalk drawing of a coaster I done in 11th grade Here's my entertainment center...with some framed coaster pictures above, and yes...I was watching American Idol lol

^Lol, well i'm glad you had a great CP trip...I sure did and part of me is still upset for leaving early..as the park closed at 7pm on my trip days of May 13th & 14th....We ended up leaving at about 3pm because were rode all the coasters from 9am to about 2:30pm and we were still tired from all the riding the pervious day...I miss Millennium Force! Thanks for the comments eveybody...I appreciate them all!

All I will say is, and don't take this the wrong way, if you read what Elissa and I always say about "going to a park for the opening of a new ride" our general rule is "don't." Especially if it's something "new" or a new variation on technology. One more thing I want to point out. It's very easy for us to "blame Intamin" because as we are all roller coaster enthusiasts that's what we see. We have no idea if the reason these track pieces need to be replaced or modified could have nothing to do with Intamin. For example, could be stress fractures based on who was contracted to put the ride together or who poured the footers. I have no more information than you all do about the delay I'm just saying don't be so quick to point the blame finger until there have been more details released. --Robb Lol, I just read this...>I didn't plan my trip to CP for the opening of Maverick...though I did want to ride itl.....I like CP in general and haven't been to since 2004, so I was going regardless and I did.... I had a blast...I never plan my trips around one ride....lol!!!!!!!

It feels nothing like a drop ride, nothing at all. I Agree....it doesn't feel like a drop ride at all to me....and cosidering it's height...you'd expect TTD to give you that gut churning feeling...well Millennium Force's 1st drop gave me that feeling....Top Thrill Dragster....well it' so fast, you don't have time to think much less get any type of gut churning feeling lol....it was just extremely fun! They are just a bit after you crest the lift and began to drop....those brakes slow it down DRAMATICLLY....but then maybe its for the best....because imo, some parts of that coaster need re-tracking! All in all, it was still a fun ride!Again, thanks for the comments everyone! Keep em' coming lol

Well, i've been to CP plenty of times during a busy day....but since it is May and most schools won't let out until june or at least until the end of may....then CP shouldn't be very packed unless it's a weekend.....The longest I waited for any coaster on Day 1: which was Sunday...half hour and that was for Millennium Force...the longest I had to wait for a coaster during Day 2: which was Monday....was a little over 15 mins and that was for Top Thrill Dragster...(but maybe thats because we out ran almost everybody to the ride.....then it vallyed) Lol, well I hope you have an awesome trip to CP! It might be nippy when you get there, so bring a hoodie! To everyone who posted...thanks for the comments, I had a blast at CP and will return in July to ride Maverick!

Weird...I was there may 13th as you were and also today, the 14th...but when I rode on sunday...there wasn't a wait over 3o mins for any ride that I got on...and I rode all the coasters...except wildcat, blue streak & wicked twisters...and well, maverick of course..cool TR!

Hello folks! Well, I just got back home from my 2-day CP expedition and I had a blast!! Every coaster (except maverick of course) was up and running wonderful with only two minor set backs: (#1:) Mid-day on Sunday the 13th, me and my friend jeff were the next in line to ride Magnum.....just as we were about to get on, a train of riders got stuck on the top of the lift with the first car hanging over the first drop. This delay only took 5-7mins to fix and we were soon taking a spin on magnum. (#2:) Now all day Sunday the 13th, TTD was up and running beautifully...no problems what-so-ever...but we decided to ride it the next day as the lines for MF were just to short to pass up....Today the 14th, when we got to CP in the morning, we ran to TTD and watched as the 2nd lauched train of riders rolled back after reaching the top....after 20 years of waiting for the car to roll back into position (really only 7-8mins) the train then launched again and barely made it over. The same thing happened to the next train full of riders.....another 7-8min wait....re-lauched and just barely made it over...thankfully, it was out turn to ride and our train made it over the top of TTD like all the others, just barely making it over....but the ride was a blast...I forgot how fun it was since the last time I rode it in 2004. Anyhow, the weather was pretty good both days, it didn't rain at all! I left the park $78 richer as I found an envelope of money while getting on MF for my last ride of the day.....but I lost my sun glasses & and hat on the overbank turn...they fell from under my shirt....and I though I had my shirt tucked under the lap-bar lol... All in all, I had a blast at Cedar Point! Clean park. Great rides. Nice Staff. what more could I want...except cheaper food prices and a ride on Maverick...ah, oh well...i'll be heading back July 13th....my 21st b-day! My mom is the funniest, most calm and caring person I know. When she is tired, you'd never know it because she carries herslef as if nothing phases her. She is the type of mom that still calls my sisters and I by the pet names she gave us as babies. She is more strict than my dad though... At 20, i'm not allowed to curse around her still. She'll be getting married on her birthday this July. My Dad is pretty laid back, often quiet...but he can be extremely hilarious. He's a cool dad....He was always around to put me and my sisters in check even though my mom and him had split up when I was 10 (They are still great friends to this day). Now he's been married for almost 9 years to my step mom, who is extremely awesome.... and I have two brothers in between that, as well as 2 step sisters. My parents never gave me and my sisters any bed time curfew, we just had to keep the noise down and be up on time for school. Durring summers, we were allowed to stay out til' 3am only if we were in front of the house where they could see us and if we had friends with us. So i'd like to say thank you to them for no being too strict when i was a kid lol!

This blows...My CP trip is this Sunday & Monday and I already paid for my hotel room so I can't push my trip back...I was looking forward to riding Maverick. I don't even know if i'll be able to hit CP again this year...Yeah, I know they delayed Maverick for a good reason, i'm just a little pissed I can't ride it..

^I agree!! It was kind of upset once i've found out that they were removing the Flying carpet, but all that was out the window once I took a spin on Cosmic Chaos! still wish they hadn't gottne rid of the Flying Carpet, it was one of the best flats rides in the park and one of my favorites!
