Niiice trip report! I really tried to fit in GAD into my trip, but with finally living stable financially, I'll have to wait until 2019. Hopefully they'll have a new RMC by then, as rumored!

I don't rank drop towers, but some of my favorites include Lex Luthor and Intamin 2nd Gen Towers (etc. Drop Zone at CGA)

Thank you to everyone for the help! Kennywood is one of the parks I was feeling less confident about, so it's good to get some help. Right now, weather is looking 87 and cloudy so I probably won't have to worry about rain, thankfully. Cool to hear that prozoach626 - we might not cross paths if you're using VIP passes, however.

So great to hear that Kawasemi is still running great after a decade of operation! Is it still a "higher up" in the Alvey rankings?

While a very sad incident indeed, I can see this ride getting scrapped because of this. Assuming Boardwalk Amusements is a family park, no parent would want to take their kids on a coaster that derailed. If it re-opens, it would massively lose popularity. And maybe, because this coaster is 40-50 years old and quite the traveler, assuming the maintenance was kept up well, it might've just been the coaster reached the end of it's service life. I have no affiliation with the park, but I predict it won't be around much longer.

Wow, it's been a while since you updated this thread Jeremy Having ridden RailBlazer, I agree for the most part. I wasn't quite blown away by it, as the restraints weren't very comfortable on my shoulders, but I agree about the first drop being so insane along with a lot of the other elements being the same. Great report, however!

I guess I'm starting a trend, being late for reports haha. Anyways, I went to the June 9th Passholder RailBlazer preview. The coaster was great. The ride overall is super compact and intense, and stays smooth all the way through indeed. My only knock would be the breakdowns (it did break down a bit) and the reason why it wouldn't be a Top 5 coaster for me is the restraints, which weren't very comfortable on my shoulders. That was kind of a knock, but as I said, it was overall a great ride.

Been a couple days since my visit, might as well talk about it for a bit. Lines didn't really seem too terribly long all day. The longest waits were what you'd expect; HangTime, Xcelerator, and GhostRider, all of which got up to 90 minutes. HangTime was #50 for me and a lot of fun, really glad to see such a fun ride in the Knott's skyline. Everything else was running as I'd remembered which is a good thing. Oh yeah, and in the evening I did make it out to Adventure City. Nice little park with a fun family coaster.

The park opens in 2 minutes! I'll be sure to give a trip report at the end of the day!

Hey everyone. I know this is going to sound incredibly stupid, but Canada's Wonderland is getting dive coaster in 2019, correct? I've been living under a rock for almost a year, so fill me in.

(I'm going to KBF on Sunday the 3rd) I'm at 49 creds, and want to make HangTime #50 (HangTime will be #50 no matter what, I have every other credit at Knott's except Timberline Twister because I'm too tall), but is that the coaster I should run to? Keep in mind that I'm going to be there the whole day (this is my yearly KBF visit), so I want to ride as much as possible. Should HangTime be first, or should I follow a different plan of attack, basically.
