Looks to me they're ditching everything they can to make the bottom line look more attractive to investors for a possible sale of the company. Really, really sucks to see the place being run like this, given how much the park improved in the last couple of years. dt

^Exactly. The issue with Mythos is that is used to have a really varied menu, and had a lot of stuff that you'd never see at an in-park restaurant (outside of Disney, of course). About five years ago or so, they totally "dumbed down" the menu, taking away a lot of really interesting choices (the cedar plank salmon, balsamic chicken, all of their amazing desserts) and made the food a lot more "standard". It's still good, but NOTHING like it used to be. I've admitted this in the past, and will admit it again, that I am a total food snob, and I realize that my food tastes and what I consider "good" usually are not going to match up with a lot of people, especially amusement park patrons. But I personally always like to see a place that's trying something different than the usual park fare. I could see it possibly being re-themed into some sort of Potter restaurant if they expanded into the area, but it would be nothing like it is now. Rowling would not allow it. dt

^^100% agreed. I honestly have no desire to go back to IOA any time soon. Used to be one of my favorite parks in the world, but how the place has been run in recent years, plus the destruction of LC, and the dumbing down of Mythos...meh. And if they ditch the Marvel stuff and re-theme the area as anything BUT "Dave & Elissa's SyFy Channel Experience", it will be totally worthless. Who wouldn't want to ride a version of Spiderman re-themed to Mega Shark vs. Giant Octopus?!? Yeah, that's what I thought... dt

30 for 30 has been nothing but amazing. Every one I watched has totally sucked me in, even if it's about something I normally don't care about, like basketball. My favorite was the one about the Baltimore Colts band. dt

^I have zero interest in a restaurant that Rowling would be involved in, because I doubt the food would be anything near world-class, since it would "break the immersion". Unless the characters of the Potterverse spend their time dining at Nobu. That would be OK. dt

I hate most movies, and rarely see them until they're on the On Demand service on FIOS. But here's a list anyway. And I'm counting stuff I saw on DVD or on the SyFy Channel. Just because. Inception Mega Piranha Kick Ass Red Sharktopus Lake Placid 3 Iron Man 2 Piranha 3D Hmm, that might be it. I don't get out to the theater very often, and like I said I hate most movies. Oh, worst thing I paid to see was Skyline. I've seen tons of HORRIBLE movies on the On Demand, but since they're free I don't care. Well, I care because they waste my time, but then again I usually just start watching them because I have insomnia and there are not any good informercials on... dt

YES!!! I was blown away by this place when we went there in October. I might like Yak & Yeti a little more, but Napoli's is a must visit restaurant on any Orlando trip now. Disney burgers are usually terrible. I'd try one of these, but I'm not getting my hopes up. dt

Two great tastes that just go together! Ice Bat and...AN ICE MACHINE!!!!! This was taken on our backstage food tour at Holiday World, which was amazing fun. Ice Bat is ready to win valuable prizes! OK, this should have been the best photo ever, but I screwed it up by not bringing my sign I made, and by not shooting it so you can see where we are. This was taken in Pottertown, and was supposed to have Ice Bat holding a sign saying "SUCK IT ROWLING" because...WE HAVE DIET COKE IN POTTERLAND!!! OH NO, WE HAVE BROKEN THE IMMERSION!!!
