Yes, it sounds like the safety features worked exactly like they were supposed to. Was surprised to see this on the Today show this morning. Wasn't too sensationalistic, at least. I do suspect that the ride will be closed for awhile so they can figure out exactly what's going on with it. dt

That was awesome. Great job, Renee! There were some good scare setups in that house. I won't be making it to HoS this year, but I really enjoyed my visit last year, as I thought the talent in the houses was very good. Definitely go if you have the chance! dt

I suspect this has a lot more to do with paying money to Google for their map software than anything else. I also note that I can easily access Google Maps on my iPad with iOS 6 through Safari, so I imagine anyone else that wants to do this can. I'm not seeing this as a big deal. dt

^It is amazing. I knew they'd be better this year, but didn't expect this. They've been a ton of fun to watch this season, and it seems like anyone on the team can be the hero of the night. I do wish they'd get a little more national attention for this, especially from sports people on TV. I know they've sucked for awhile, but they really have put a quality product on the field this year. If they make it into the playoffs, I'm going to have to make to one of those games. dt

I always wait a day or two to download major iOS versions, just to make sure everything is OK. I do look forward to checking out the new Map stuff, and I'm very excited about Passbook, especially if it will eventually allow me to ditch all these random "reward program" things I have to carry. I'd love for all of those to be on my phone. dt

Fell asleep during the Orioles game last night, woke up hours later and they were still playing. Insane. But they finally won after 18 innings, and are now tied for first place again! dt
