  1. Why did you want a Tatsu camp out tshirt??? Not only were you NOT at the campout, YOU HAVEN'T EVEN BEEN ON TATSU!!! Lame. Bad Emo.
  2. Pound it. Thanks for the shout out. The sig move looks good on you!
  3. News Flash! If you build them, they will come! And by "them", I mean good rollercoasters. They have three now, just think what would happen if they put more in. For that matter, more rides of all types. When I went this year for the first and only time, I was disappointed in the lack of rides. But by more people arriving, the harder it will be to keep their precious neatness award. Maybe I have been hanging around with canobifan too long
  4. ^ Would have been better if it were a deep fried pepsi! How dare they ruin a donut and put coke on it!!!!
  5. ^ Well fine. I watch that show too!!!
  6. John, you referring to Battlestar Galactica? I love that show!!! Rich "like Heroes and Jericho) E.
  7. See Emo, people like your TR's better now that they aren't in those stupid little boxes. And I didn't see a "400" sign anywhere! Wait, I bet you sent it to RCSB huh? Nice job man. And the pic without your John Lennon glasses on confused me. I didn't think it was you at first. Slops
  8. Just sent in my deposit for both Spain and Japan.
  9. We (canobiefan and I) had problems with the gold qbot as far as re-reserving for El Toro (KK was down the day we went). You must allow for a short amount of time (I'd say maybe 30 mins) before re-reserving El Toro. Otherwise, we'd have gotten on it more than the 6 times we did that day.
  10. My Top 10 Coasters 1. Balder (Liseberg) 2. Superman - Ride Of Steel (Six Flags New England) 3. El Toro (Six Flags Great Adventure) 4. Voyage (Holiday World) 5. Goliath (La Ronde) 6. Storm Runner (Hersheypark) 7. Nemesis (Alton Towers) 8. SheiKra (Busch Gardens Africa) 9. X (Six Flags Magic Mountain) 10. Kentucky Rumbler (Beech Bend)
  11. Hey AA! Were you guys on that car ride for days? It started in daylight, then night, then back to day and you were still on it?
  12. No on the chick a chick.....we had pizza both days and it was really good. What's the beaver tail? I didn't see that. Not much was open on the way of stores either day.
  13. Part duex I will leave you with a series of Goliath pics. Push up on the restraints and exit to the left. Au Revoir! One of the park entrances....notice the lack of peeps. TPR sillyness. Artsy night shot of Vampire. I was bored since James and I had to wait 15 minutes for enough people to show up. Hey ladies, I might not do drugs, but I sure look like it. LOL Yeah, one of my only night shots that actually came out well enough to see. No thank you. Au revour. Ghetto log flume reminds me of the one inbetween Joyland and Pleasure Beach in the UK. Where can I get a box of porn flakes? They don't sell them at my grocery store. Maybe they do at Dan's, since they sell everything! Sig move for 9 Goliath rides plus conquering the park in a few hours. Awww, James is in love. A true BM fanboy at heart. Don't worry James, it hearts you too. EVIL Trim! Since the second day was busier than the first, Goliath had a full train thus the trim kicked in. With the trim, it drops way down on my list. It kill the airtime on the return trip back. Still fun, but no where near as awesome as without. And they put on a second train after we left the park. Boooo And some of these Goliath pics were taken from the far lot where Goliath roams. Though it is a "parking lot coaster", it has that Cedar Point feel with the water all around and stuff to look at. See what I mean? The lift hill, though not super high, is super steep. Due to mostly empty trains I assume, the trim brake did not engage. This makes it a top 5 steel coaster for me. Better than Nitro and Apollos Chariot IMO. (Haven't been on any other BM Hypers) Super extended floaty airtime on every hill. Goliath on our first day was unbelievable! Signature moves, Le Monstre colored tongue piercings and a hippo. A hippo? What the? Now we talkin! Closed kiddie credit. Booo Le Feris wheel. And putting on a show! Best $1 I ever spent...to see James jammin on the DDR. The Pepsi zone. I might have won the TPR party TR if there was more of this in it I've never seen candy for sale in a restroom before. While James was riding his first ever wacky flat ride, this ride op was talking to his friends at SFMM. Trouble of course finds an open gate leading to the outside world. James, don't go out there, there might be people out there! Really neat indoor coaster with loads of theming....strobe lights, dragons, and stuff. Good stuff too. I'll keep it clean for the site....but you know why I took this pic. I'd like to give a shout out .....and you know who you are. They had this crepe shop where you could put anything on it. Splash...... Universal rip off? Water ride...no thanks. Olympic Village as seen from LaRonde. It's 5 am and I am running out of things to say. more
  14. This is going to be VERY big, so no big intro for me. Taken from the ferris wheel I think. "Please hold yourself firmly".......love it. EEEEeeewww. James' smelly bracelet from TPR UK Trip!!! Scary clown guy on the front of Le Monstre. Wait, I thought it was a werewolf guy on the sign? Pain taken from the observacion tower. See, I told you. BBLLUURRRRYY. Weeee, stop the train! Don't you think the Hi-Viz yellow trains match Jame's tongue piercing? We shall soon see. MMMMMMMMM....me too. How about we E-stop this and go there now? Peep up front saying, I want to ride that next. And what might that be you say? One of only two onride pics which came out clear enough to see because of the lack of Balder smoothness. Two thumbs down for woodies with rollerskate sized wheels. Station jammed with cloked people. I know someone can think of a great caption for this....I was thinking something along the lines of James trying to find cheese but came up short? The I'm a racing woody which only ran one side. Though it was closed on our first day, it opened on the second. To think we almost decided not to come back again (not counting last week's trip) Speaking of Le Quality. Sign of quality. But rough everywhere else (the lift hill, the straight aways, after the break run)...weird. Vekoma death machine. Smooth in all the wrong places (like the corkscrews and turns). Um, yeah.....had I not seen the vekoma death machine behind this, I would have thought I was on St Catherine Street. I'm crazy chicken guy, someone eat me. So close you could high five the riders, and smell their breath. Crazy wild mouse not themed to a mouse. Longest real wait of the day. Random crazy no way in hell I am going on that flat ride. Midway is still jammed. Emotionless.....!?! Signature move on the SS tower. You didn't think you wouldn't see it did you? That's better Taken from the S&S tower, this pic would have been pretty minus the stupid Coke sign. And though it shot upwards reaching only the blackened area about 1/2 way up tower, it was really fun! Next up, the bankrupt tower. El Condor (which almost made me puke) and Le Monstre in the background. Funny thing to see operating on such a quiet day. Trenches filled with mist too. Corkscrews taken at mach 2. Loops and stuff. Next time I am taking a helicopter here. That was I don't have to be accosted by the dumb immigration people. Overview of Batm...I mean Vampire. This is by FAR my favorite Batman/clone of the ones I have been on. And James actually liked it !?! Weeeeee Zero Geeeeee! Top of Le Vampire. This ride kicked our butt! It was fast, smooth and super intense. Dear I say Nemesis intense? AAaaahhh, is this thing on? We waited approximately 10 mins for the train to dispatch despite the empty station This ride really surpised me. I like how you can actually see the whole ride from the midway. Le Vampire = Le mirrored Batman clone without Le theming. The front row was fun. The back was ouch ouch ouch. Only one inversion (Derek approved) but that was plenty for me. Le Twisty bits on Le Cobra. Taken the next day (Labor Day) with peeps and James. Is James not a peep? Bad thing about an empty park is we hardly ever saw a ride going unless we were on it. Bunny hill on a standup. And the park was very care-free with cameras, just like their operations. Packed station, but surprisely, we had to wait a bit. See, I don't lie. Intamin / BM standup. No L'Ponge show today. Midways were packed like this all day. Statue of peace, love and park openness. But they ARE! Woo, James is almost happy. Still doesn't look it. Doesn't look it. Me: You open? Moose: Yup. Me: Yup, you open? Gopher: Check with the moose.
  15. Dave, what happened to your arm?
  16. Smartass. But hey, you didn't complain about how you didn't like anything there!
  17. So I decided on a whim to use my two days off and take a trip up to Six Flags LaRonde. I've never been to Canada before, but plan on returning REAL soon. So I grabbed James (Canobiefan) and made the 5 hour drive up. I'll let the rest of the photos tell the rest of this tale. Awww, pretty wallpaper pic. If all goes well, we'll be making the trek back up next weekend....this time during park operating hours. Au revoir! Half of the people at LaRonde today are in this picture. James says this is the Intamin Standup. I will take his word for it. So to make use of our time, we took some pics from the backside of the park. No trespassing occured during this photo op. Here is the Grave yard. Well, since this is a coaster site, here are some coasters. This gopher (or is it a beaver?) was the only other living creature at the park. And he wouldn't open Goliath for us. Stupid gopher. Stupid stupid stupid. Oh crap. I only see James and Tellewok. Where are all the people? Ahhh, Goliath. The main draw for me. James is all about credit whoring. WTF? This Telletubby wearing Ewok clothes greets us at the entrance. Our view from our cell. Thanks James. I guess that's what I get for smuggling you across the border. See? Montreal....we're getting close. The immigration checkpoint. The way we were treated made us feel like we were part of the Al-Quaida. Would you let James into your country if you had a choice? James and I enroute to LaRonde. Like the french word? It means "on the way to".
  18. I love Air compared to the others. But that's just me.
  19. This contest is rigged! I am at the bottom of the TR list so people are bored with the pics even before getting to mine...that's even if they GET to mine
  20. BOTBC!!! Woo-who! Awesome. Agreed on the trivia. There has to be a UK trip reunion where most of the people are invited
  21. Thanks . Though this wasn't my best work photoshop related due to my inability to use the program I have, but I couldn't just post the same pics that everyone else was taking. I had a grander idea in mind, but o well. And sorry I don't have "The" Hoffman girl pic, but at least I don't have Mr. Hoffman hot on my tail!
  22. Ok, so I flew from Massachusetts almost 3000 miles for a TPR party ! Well, I flew out early anyways and spent an extra day at SFMM and hit Knotts for the first time. Good times. I just want to give thanks to Elissa and Dan for their guidance at the parks and such, Robb and Elissa for their hospitality and Joe, Jim and Derek for posting pics I could photoshop for my TR since I was too stupid to actually bring a battery charger for my camera . Thanks again to R&E. It was fun to meet new people and great to see all the UK travelers again. Just like old times, right Joe? Thanks for reading. Watching the UK preview. It's almost like being there again. Except Joe wouldn't know about that. I swear Joe never left that corner of the kitchen. A few more peeps arrive. Fun party. Good group. And everyone wore deoderant too! Who'd have thought. Early at the party when there was room to sit and relax. The real reason for traveling 3000 miles. Most of the UK crew shown here conquering SFMM in less than a few hours. Holy Dude Batman. Pound It! I sooo wish I had bought this hat......Can't you see the resemblance? hmmmm, Thanks Elissa for the Flash passes.... BEST RESTROOM SIGN EVER. When TPR finishes acquisition, it will be fixed so that he has three testicals. Hey Derek, I'll trade you my Balder hammer for your Speed Monster shirt. More TPR theming. Why does Chris always make funny faces? Why do birds suddenly appear....? Every update needs a "through the trees" pic. Here is Tasu, through the cool oriental tree bush. This pic is sponsored by Air. Prepare for Air. Victory! All credits achieved. Now I never have to go back to SFMM. Oooh, Superman opened on Saturday! Look at all the people in line for Air, I mean Tatsu. The offically coined by B&M egg turn. Thanks to Casey for taking this pic for me. What, you didn't think I went up in the Sky Tower for this pic did you? See Joe, quad boobed men can make it to Tatsu without yacking. Which made Ryan so excited, he busted out his Ketchup dance for all to see. Again, still better than the stupid preshow thing. Dude, Casey's p%^$# was this big! Post tackle pic....because everyone loves to see a Giant pummel a midget. If TPR ran SFMM, the stupid pre-entrance announcer would say "Casey Tackle Ryan". Then they wouldn't be so stupid. No airtime + the helix of blackout = my enthusiasm level. Back to the what if TPR took over. Gives you a real reason to scream now. Turned out that Canyon Blaster was my 200th credit. Front row even. Take that you stupid little girl who wanted the front seat! Another new credit for me. At the time I thought is was my #200. A new credit for Joe and Derek. Ever have Dejavu? A new credit for Joe and Derek. Ever have Dejavu? and be located in England and play a dispatch recording, "Prepare for Air". It just needs to be painted blue..... Tatsu was OK. "Joe, you excited?" "No. (dry heave, dry heave, blaaaahhhhh)". I almost took a picture, but it didn't seem right at the time. Wish now I did. Odd thing was, not a single person in line even blinked at the site of someone yakking all over the cement i So with proper guidance, Joe and I took the secret way to Tatsu beating out most of the bull runners. But poor Joe. Running + Joe = not a pretty site. Oooh look. New for this year! In spanish too. Not a good start. Luckily I already have my X credit. But not Superman. Actually, I had others I didn't get on my first trip because I wasn't a credit whore then. Yeah, thanks R&E. I had been to SFMM a few years back. This time around we hit it two times. Photos were taken on both days but are not in order. So, what if SFMM really closed? What follows is a scary thought.... On the way back from Knotts I noticed this water thing. I have never seen anything like this before. They should sooo make this a water slide. My signature move is there, I swear. But I didn't know Joe was in a gang. I can't associate with gang members! Or paper filers for that matter. Should have called it the Stapler....especially since Joe was riding with me. Maybe he could have stapled some papers together. Xcelerator was the last of the US intamin accelerators for me. I liked it, but would have liked it more had it not been for Elissa and Dan, you bastards. My balls still hurt. I owe you both for your little prank. and that it was REALLY rough! But I liked the layout. But I realized it wasn't because Joe was sitting next to me.... If you squint, like, a lot, Ghostrider looks like Balder. Arrival at Knotts. Nice park. Really liked Silver Bullet. My favorite invert in the US , take that Elissa. Arrived at the Alvey's on my birthday to celebrate TPR style. I'll spare the Old Man Jeff jokes.
  23. Well, Silver Bullet for me might just be up there....(Hi Elissa). But I'd have to say Nemesis @ Alton, followed by Nem Inferno @ Thorpe, then Silver Bullet.
  24. OldJJman wrote "Daron proving that Lou's deoderant is working!" Well its nice that some of us still used deoderant on this trip!
  25. I loved Snow Ryan...now that was funny!
