Yes quaddie, it did. It had everything in its favor to be the #1.....the weather, the people, the ERT, the park reps, and the hype. As Robb mentioned, the trims killed it. If they were totally off, I dunno....we'd have to see. I prefer SROS layout better since it has less MF overbanks but love the setting over the trees and the creek (or was it the raft ride?). If we had just ridden Balder one time, it probably wouldn't be my favorite coaster of all time. But the whole experience made it #1. Oh that's right, you didn't ride Balder !

EG is real good.....but in NO WAY better than SUPERMAN RIDE OF STEEL @ SFNE!

It's funny how you capture mostly natural reactions of people instead of the crazy ones. Probably has something to do with you hiding out the bushes over a mile away with your telescopic lenses. Can you say sniper?

Just got in from another great TPR trip. Funny thing about being away for two weeks is that I didn't have to do much laundry as I received my lost luggage 8 days after the trip started just prior to leaving for Germany Thanks to those people who helped me along the way (Rich, Mel, Robb and Larry for the Superglue) oh and the orange shirt people for their support. Though I took over 700 pics, I will leave you with a few pics of people having fun, doing crazy things and pretty pictures of rides (mostly coasters with trees). So I saw a postcard of Ground Hog the ride in the shop and tried to take the same shot. It is also so hard to capture a pic. When you see it pop up out of the ground, you snap a pic. It reminds me of a ground hog. Don't let the fanboys kid you. It may look like Nemesis, but in no way is the ride intesity the same. Nemesis >> BM. Black Mamba is like a top 40 pop song. I do really like EG though. It's a solid #4 on my list. The park treated us really nice as well. Except for when they tried to kick me and Emo off for voting SRoS higher in the polls. The drop is probably the best part of the ride. But the same can be said about Millenium Force. Ohh, I just compare EG to MF, ouch! Wash, rinse, repeat. I like this picture. Superman rocked even though it was themed to a desert in the middle of a field outside the park. Its so purty here in Spain. I me, over there in Spain. I had such high expectation of this ride. I ended up liking Vampire in LaRonde way better. But the theming was amazing. Panthers on the kiddie....you dirty Hoares. I guess the yellow hat club took this ride over. Maybe John is the reason I had a string of bad luck on this trip....you broke me you beyotch! Abismo had the best merchandise of the trip......the orange shirt! Buy two cervesas and get this crazy hat. Accent not included. Emoboy smiles like a frog while riding the one of kind kiddie. Hair matches the train too. Dave and Mary flaunting the fact we are in Parque Attracciones Madrid and the public isn't. Not a great picture by any means while in line for Taratula, but one of my goals is to put as many pics of Steve in as possible Turtle humping in spain. So there ya go...from the drop tower in stupid observation mode Isla Magica...I know, it'd be better with a train in it.

Wes, Sorry this is posted almost 2 weeks late however, I was one of a few people who did not have luggage for the entire Spain portion of the trip. I would have gladly worn that shirt for multiple days in a row since it seemed to be a crowd favorite, or should I say eye sore!

"This hill produces some of the best airtime in the park." Not very hard despite all the coasters, none seem to produce airtime anyways. Not to spark the debate the MF is an airtime machine, because it's not IMO.
