  1. My top choices (to choose between) are UK/Europe and Intimidator. If the UK/Europe combo looks too prohibitive still, it'll be Europe or Intimidator..most likely Europe. But trust me Rosie, if I can work it out so that the rain dance for Air can happen, I will
  2. I may have money, but I don't have THAT much! Mike 'I'm not Icebat' Moody
  3. Trying to decide between UK & Europe combo, Europe only, UK only (the least likely choice) and Intimidator.
  4. Most likely Legoland Windsor.
  5. Same, I'll at least try and stay the first half hour.
  6. Biographies of Walt Disney and Charles M. Schulz.
  7. ^ Be patient, it'll be the next TR Jason posts Mike 'We did Knotts 4 days after CGA' Moody
  8. Went to Chessington for the first time a few weeks ago, partly to see Beanoland before it closed, since I was an avid reader in my *ahem* youth. It was great, until I got thirsty, and saw the 'drinking fountain'. I didn't try drying off with the 'dryer'..
  9. 16 on Terminator, during the West Coast ERT at SFMM.
  10. Hopefully Blackpool PB, a week tomorrow.
  11. That mini-golf at Castle Park absolutely slaughtered those of us who tried it (and got beat by hole 11 or something). Love the memories of Chris S's 100th credit on the kiddie.
  12. As my first woodie in 2007, I really enjoyed it. Having ridden 8 more woodies (of varying degrees of roughness, age, and general quality) since, I do wonder how my opinion would change riding it again, but I'm glad to hear it's running well. I remember loving the helices.
  13. Will DD definitely be closed by November, as my presumption goes?
  14. Okay, as a drummer and a Disney fan, I'm jealous of that. This was definitely my favourite day of the trip, not least because of being able to add to my Legoland collection (only Deutschland to get now!..and the various Discovery Centres *geek*), and of course the fantastic opportunity to get behind-the-scenes. Jason, I have your 'pointing-at-the-Lego-dust-grinning-like-a-geek' photo on my phone - if I can figure out how to get phone photos onto the PC, I'll send it to you. And the Adventurers Club walkthrough (as I believe Windsor used to also call theirs) may not have seemed like much, but it's a class example of Lego Master Builders' imagination, AND it's the only one that still exists (I believe): ours closed this year - to make way for an Xbox 360 showroom. The fact that we lost two high quality walkthroughs for videogames promotion is pretty eugh. Anyway, loving the photos, great memories.
  15. You're definitely entering the realm of my favourite portion of the trip, Jason. The Mummy tour (and ride after), in fact the whole Universal time, was spectacular!
  16. Great TR, Bas..I didn't realise the Giant Dipper was actually that..giant!
  17. '..remember Kung Pow?' Yes..yes, I do Josh *sighs at lost early teens*
  18. The woman sitting next to Dave Fudge on the adult frog hopper is, if I'm not mistaken, his girlfriend - she didn't join us on the trip, just for the bonus day.
  19. My family were quarantined at home for a few days two weeks ago, since my sister had just returned from Mexico, and felt a bit ill.
  20. Extremely proud for Billy
  21. I thought the idea with WWRY was to enjoy the beyond-inanity of the 'plot'; I mean, it pretty much doesn't need to be said that it's awful. It's all about good performance of crap jokes.
  22. This year, I've seen: Buzzcocks, Reel Big Fish, and The Leisure Society. Got the Strummercamp festival coming up in May, along with The Damned and The Alarm double header, then Blur in July.
  23. I play drums..no idea what the different makes are, but my main snare is a custom rebuild, my back-up snare came with the rest of the kit, which is D-Drum, in red. One tom on top of the bass, two floor toms, and three (seperately bought) plastic-skin rack toms. I actually have my ride cymbal next to my hi-hat (think I play it better that way), a crash cymbal on the other side of the hat, and another, splashier crash next to the racks. Love my kit, even if I have no idea whether it's of good or bad quality.
  24. Saw the London production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat last night - pity it's closing in a few weeks, it was a nice burst of energy. On the other hand, seeing Mary Poppins on its last night in the UK (on tour) on Saturday!
