Well DegoRed, ones first trip to Vegas is a right of passage for many adults, so to help you have a good time I broke this post into two different segments. One if you are a sinner, and the other if you're not. If you're a sinner then read the first post, if not scroll down to the O.K. so your not a sinner portion. ***If you are unsure whether or not you're a sinner, then a good reference point would be whether you consider yourself a Kindred Spirit to Robb + Elissa (They Define the term Sinner) O.K. so you're a sinner..... Shows for you. *Headlights and Tailpipes at the Stardust--An adult show featuring former Playboy Playmates (Not nasty worn-out Hustler chicks), in an erotic tale about Fast Cars and Fast Women. *Skintight at Harrah's--Heart pounding good times for all. *Zumanity-Cirque Du Soleil, at the New York New York--I actually saw this show a year ago, it's definitely a different Cirque Du Soleil experience (I've also seen KA and O ). At Zumanity you can actually have some personal interaction with the cast members, and you even get to see an obedient Gimp on stage. (Time to reexperience those Pulp Fiction memories) *Chippendales at the Rio--Since I don't know what your "Personal" preferences might be, then this is for a Dude who prefers a show with All-Dudes. Hotels for you. HardRock--Famous pool, Celebrates + lots of people watching. Palms--The "Ghost Bar" offers great views of the Vegas strip. Monte Carlo--Robb + Elissa's hangout, it's in the center of all the action. Mandalay Bay--Visit the "Rum Jungle" TI-- Has an outdoor "Adult Themed" Pirate/Water show. ***You can also carry alcohol beverages while you walk the strip, but you can't bring any alcohol into Taxis. ***Lastly, if you feel like relaxing one night in your hotel room, then break out the Vegas Yellow Pages. Just turn to the letter "E" for Escorts, uhhhh....I mean Entertainment, this city loves to serve. O.K. so your NOT a Sinner..... Shows for you. The Dolphin Encounter + Secret Garden (White Tigers Etc.) at the Mirage. Shark Reef--1.6 million gallons of wholesome fun at the Mandalay Bay. The Water Fountains at Bellagio. The Grand Canyon/Hoover Dam Tours The Nighttime Helicopter tour of the famous Vegas Strip. Hotels for you. Circus Circus (Please kill me quick) Excalibur (Just about the same as Circus Circus) Hilton--The Star Trek show is entertaining ***Lastly, there are many Churches at your disposal if you feel the need to CONFESS your Sinful Thoughts of Temptation. They may be able to Save you from becoming a member of the first group of this post. Enjoy!

I believe that Iraq can be discussed and even debated without having the thread locked; it's usually someone making an offhanded remark that gets the thread closed. There are several reasons we need to stay in Iraq. 1) If we pulled out of Iraq the level of Sectarian Violence would skyrocket, and would likely lead to an all out Civil War. 2) Sectarian tensions would lead to the complete destabilization of Iraq, and perhaps much of the Middle East. 3) If we pull out, then the groups we are currently fighting against in Iraq will likely end up controlling Iraq. 4) The USA and its allies can't cut and run because the situation has become difficult. All of the eyes of the world are upon us, especially those looking to destroy are way of life. If we pull out to early, then it will be the Terrorists who will be claiming victory, which would only embolden their "Followers" from around the globe to carry out their own Jihad. Sept 11th was many years ago, because of this many people have let their guard down to the real threats that still exist. Sadly, it will probably take some suicide bombers blowing themselves up at your favorite Starbucks or local McDonalds to jar people back to the reality that these Terrorists' threats of a "Holy War" (Jihad) are very real.

Six Flags new commercial!
BelizeIt replied to Twister II's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Wow they actually trample Mr Six to Death?! I like this new leadership at Six Flags! I was burned out on Mr Six, not to mention that dam song they play during the commercials, which is forever burned into my skull. I guess the next movie I see will have to be at my local AMC, so that I can see the final demise of the Creepy Bald Guy. -
Photo Trip Report Camden Park by Twisterbret
BelizeIt replied to twisterbret's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
^So AirTime, just how long have you been working at Camden Park? Because, the passionate and rather defensive response you posted, goes well beyond just being "upset" with twisterbrets Trip Report. If twisterbret felt the park was a dump, then he is free to express his opinion. The fact that his opinion isn't the same as yours doesn't make it wrong. Even though he felt the park was a dump, it looks like he still enjoyed his trip; he did say he was happy that his son Conner had the chance to ride a wooden coaster. As for the descriptions of the other patrons at the park being overweight/toothless Etc... This has been done on countless other Trip Reports. It's interesting how those other trip reports didn't offend you, but this one did? Nor did he ever call anyone an uneducated hillbilly; that was your personal description. You also claim that it's wrong for someone like twisterbret to point out somebody's "Flaws", when in your very next sentence you level a personal attack against him. (That says a lot about you! Hypocrite!!!) Well AirTime, you obviously are very fond of Camden Park, so why don't you do a Photo Trip Report about it. You can point out all of the positive aspects about this park, and encourage others to visit. Afterall, these smaller Theme Parks (like Camden) are going to be around for a while, not everyone wants to take a trip to Florida or Orange County to visit the mighty Disney empire. -
This photo reminds me of the song by Johnny Lee "Lookin' for Love" "Barry was lookin' for love in all the wrong places, lookin' for love in too many faces, searching your eyes, lookin' for traces, of what I'm dreaming of......................"

^Hey unhappy Marlins Fan, can you tell me who is the only National League Baseball Team to win the World Series twice since 1982??? Also, 14 games under 500 with only a 14 million dollar (or so) payroll, actually sounds about right where they should be. The Marlins payroll will increase once they move to........Las Vegas?

Hey Wally, you seem to be under the false impression that ASSistants (like Wes) have a sense-of-humor?! When in fact Wes is a brutally efficient administrator of TPR doctrine. But, Wes can't possibly ban you, because you have a great job that could possibly provide him with the much needed fluid of life---Beer! Who would be willing to screw up a personal contact like that!
-
Well the problem with these older Baseball Parks, is that they often lack many of the amenities of the newer generation of Baseball stadiums. Even though Fenway Park is an older Baseball Stadium, the current ownership seems determined to keep it. Every off-season, the new owners have made improvements and will continue to do so for years to come. As for the Yankee Stadium, it doesn't surprise me that you were disappointed, given that the Yankees + their Stadium + their Fans are all part of the Evil Empire! Go Redsox!!!

Have you seen this train before?
BelizeIt replied to [x] sammie [x]'s topic in Random, Random, Random
That's great! Yes Daughters often know how to exert powerful influence over their Fathers. I thought when I originally saw your photo that it was one of those indoor/outdoor trains. A close friend of mine who is a Landscape Architect, had the chance to work on a Home Train Yard project back when we were in college together. She and several classmates helped to design a general layout of track (with the homeowners help) and literally transformed the entire backyard into an amazing setting of train tracks with bridges and rockscape Etc... She really enjoyed working on the project, and the homeowner was very pleased with the outcome. You do have a great version of Thunder Mountain just a Chunnel trip away in Paris. When I visited the United Kingdom a few years back I wish I had the chance to visit Disneyland Paris, because they did an amazing job with the overall layout and design of that park. -
Hey Majaco, I see that you've had a great chance to visit various stadiums on both the East + West coast. But, when are you going to visit the Hollowed Grounds of Fenway Park? Sure you may have to skip a car payment or two just for tickets, but Cub fans are always welcomed with open arms in Boston.
-
Hey Mcjaco don't lose the faith! My hometown team the Redsox finally won it all after how many decades??? The Cubs are one of the most beloved teams in Baseball, their time will come soon. By the way, is there still any angst over the infamous Steve Bartman? Whatever happened to that guy? Did he join the witness protection program, or is he still "living" in your state?
-
^^Watch out coasterguy! I think your one/two punch may have landed below the Alveys belt! If your going to go a couple of rounds with Robb + Elissa, then try to keep the gloves up! Lets say Robb + Elissa had a time crunch, and they had to chose between two states they really wanted to visit, then the one with a Carrabba's would probably represent the swing vote. I haven't been to one myself, but I've seen plenty of Photo Trip Reports about them!

Have you seen this train before?
BelizeIt replied to [x] sammie [x]'s topic in Random, Random, Random
Absolutely! That's always been my favorite ride at Disneyland. Wikipedia lists the seven (Disneyland) trains names as.......U.B. Bold, U.R. Daring, U.R. Courageous, I.M. Brave, I.B. Hearty, I.M. Fearless, and last I.M. Loco. -
Good-bye California, Hello Arkansas!
BelizeIt replied to smells_like_team_disney's topic in Random, Random, Random
^^ I know that I was being a bit overly dramatic. But man when you listen to an eyewitness's description of what it was like to actually experience a Tornado first hand. Then you see those images on TV showing an entire neighborhood literally flattened, that's a scary site to behold. -
Uh oh......Is TPR actually some sort of subversive Cult??? Maybe we have all been brainwashed by Robb + Elissa, and were unaware of it. They are known for playing various mind games on their "Flock" (Last weekends Drywall, Lentil Etc...) and they do seem to have "Followers" from all over the globe. I try to not logon everyday, but I feel compelled to do so! Help us all!

Good-bye California, Hello Arkansas!
BelizeIt replied to smells_like_team_disney's topic in Random, Random, Random
^Yes, but imagine its 2:30am and your fast asleep.......Suddenly you're rudely awakened by the sound of a distant Air Horn, warning you of Impending Doom! You rush to your bedroom window and stare into the night, but its pitch black outside. You can't see the Tornado as it heads towards your home, coming closer, and closer, until finally you see it tearing apart your neighbors home! As you rush to your basement, you hear what sounds like Ten Freight Trains rushing thru your home! The Tornado proceeds to rip it apart and scatters your irreplaceable belongings all over your neighborhood. You quickly find God, and prey that you will somehow survive! I'm not in any way defending Earthquakes (I've lived thru several of them) but at least with Earthquakes you can often retrieve your irreplaceable possessions (Photos, Family Heirlooms Etc...) But if a Tornado blows apart your home, many of your belongings may be gone forever. -

Adios scenic mountains of California, hello flatlands of Arkansas. That's a big move alright! I have lived in CA for a long time, and even though some people dislike it here, I love it! Yes, there is the occasional Earthquake, but I would be more concerned about seeing a Tornado spinning towards my home. Good Luck on your move to Arkansas! You will now have access to a new variety of great theme parks in nearby states. (Especially Dollywood!!! in your neighbor state of Tennessee) Also, you're close to the amazing city of New Orleans! (The French Quarter, Fat Tuesday, Jazz Fest Etc...) Overall, change is often a good thing, enjoy it! -
I have heard of Manbearpig??? But I can't remember where I heard it. So BlueOctane, where did Manbearpig come from???

Las Vegas Trip Review
BelizeIt replied to coastercraze2005's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Hello Coastercraze2005, thats a long drive to strike out on all coasters. You left San Diego with your "Parents" and arrived in Nevada in 41/2 hours during a busy Memorial Day weekend??? Excellent timing, I must admit.... When you arrived in Nevada, not only was Desperado closed, but every other major Las Vegas Attraction was as well!??? Dam! That's some bad luck!!! When I visited Vegas a month ago, and eventhough it was windy, I was still able to ride Desperado, Speed, Insanity the Ride, X-Scream, and Big Shot, without any problems. Not to mention Canyon Blaster Etc...which usually isn't closed, due to the fact that it's located indoors. Maybe you and your parents might have better "Luck" on your next trip to Sin City!!! -
Well my favorite "Quote" would be from Elissa when she becomes Angry or Enraged! She says "DIE" It's like a badge of honor, maybe someday I'll receieve it!

Radioactive Material
BelizeIt replied to coasterguy4's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Elissa + Robb keep manipulating the puppet strings of TPR! The more you resist, the better they feel! Keep dancing for them! They can't get enough! Elissa + Robb like the fact that your their personal "puppet", easily manipulated for their enjoyment! This is why I love this site! It never gets boring!!! So whether it's Drywall, Lentil Soup, or Radioactive Material, Elissa + Robb manage to peek all of our interest.... This way, we feel obligated to logon daily to their site, to see what's next on TPR! Let's face it, Elissa + Robb are brilliant entertainers! So whether their at home, or traveling abroad, we enjoy to tuning in. -
Well obviously Elissa + Robb are aware of the alteration to their website, and they have chosen to do nothing to return it to it's orginal form. Because of this we can rule out any type of "Hacker" attack on TPR, so it's much more likely to be another one of Elissa + Robb's "Head Games," like they've done in the past. Remember Robb's so called Brother,??? from a few month's ago? (That had many of us convinced!!!) I will give some credit to Erik Johnson, for locating his "Plaster Donkey Syndrome" I mean what the hell was that!??? It was very creative, but the Alvey's are notorious for effectively controlling the puppet strings above our heads! For their own amusement of course!!! So personally, I believe that the glorious Donkey will return!!! I mean what the hell would this great site be without one!!! We all are aware that Donkey's rule! As for Drywall? Well Whatever???
-
^^^Wow this Vons/Safeway Fondue must give you two some type of Adrenalin Rush! I feel like impulsively cruising over to my local Vons for a fix! Robb, since you stated that the Jarlsburgh Fondue is out of Elissa's current "food rotation", what are the remaining "7 things" (that you mentioned) that actually make it onto the Elissa approved list. I'm sure most TPR regulars are aware of the need for McDonalds + Plain Pasta. ***By the way Elissa, since your restricted diet has come up many times on previous posts, it seems surprising for someone who has traveled so extensively around the globe (More than most people do in several lifetimes) that you would even have a limited palate. Did you have some type of traumatic experience while globetrotting with your parents? Years ago I became violently ill after consuming some bad Oysters, and I have never felt the need to go anywhere near them again.

Let's go wayyyyyy backkkkkkk in time to the eightys. This was when some of the first computer games that had unbelievable graphics were released. (unbelievable For that time) Some of my favorites were, King Quest, Space Quest, Quest for Glory, and the all time classic Leisure Suit Larry!
