Chip and Dale were in the Eclipse's Mini Mix show on the stage below Sonny Eclipse's stage in Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe. When I was there (on the same night), I only saw those faced characters and Mr. Smeed. There were some new characters that were pulled out just for the event, but none of them were recognizable. Its a suprise that Stephanie and I didn't run into you two on Friday because we rode basically everything that you did, we were near the Haunted Mansion for the parade and we were over at Pirates while Jack Sparrow was there. Oh, and tell Leanne Happy Birthday! -
My brother goes to UF as a current student and he gets me and my family lots of shirts and hoodies. He just got me one that has the National Championship BCS Bowl stuff on it. I will wear that in my next TR. ^The fireworks were done in part by Steve Davidson, but the music and storyline were worked on (in part) by this other imagineer.

Why is Disneyland Paris selling Test Track playsets??? -
The crap on crap

Maybe, considering that there are countless toilet references made via TPR (specifically from Elissa)... -
^The event was plenty of fun, and the fact that I was able to get on Space Mountain twice in 5 minutes really shocked me. The only problem that I found was a lack of food options, but I managed by trying my first ever turkey leg. It was pretty good! I plan on taking a group of friends next time, and I can't wait for more Space Mountain action!

^The event is going on through March I believe... As for the Darude music, I said that because I have that album also. Here are some more photos... Walking through the fog to get to Pirates... Goofy was doing an impression of Jack Sparrow... It was interesting to say the least... Splash Mountain stills looks good at night, even when under the knife. This means goodbye for tonight, but I will definitely be coming back! The castle looked great tonight! ... Some people decided to dress up... Can you pick out which of these people is a guest and which are cast members? This Captain Jack Sparrow was actually pretty good! There was a band playing at the exit of Pirates, and Mr. Smeed was dancing to their music. This was a pretty scary sight...

Yesterday, Stephanie, my brother and I went to the Princess and Pirates Party ticketed event at the Magic Kingdom. As this was my first after-hours park event, I came in with an open mind. From the moment we entered through the turnstiles, we were strapped into a wristband and given a bag for goodies. All three of us were hungry, so we went over to Cosmic Ray's, but the park was only serving cheeseburgers, so we passed. We moved on through Tomorrowland, getting on the Tomorrowland Speedway in 15 minutes and on Space Mountain in 2. Amazed at how fast we were covering everything, we rode the Astro Orbiter and then continued on to find a spot to watch the fireworks show. I personally know the Imagineer that designed the special show, as his son goes to school with me (and went to Hebrew School with me a few years back). The show itself was extremely impressive, with great timing coordination and a unique plot. After the show, we went over to Frontierland to get seats near the front of the parade. I didn't love the music to the parade, as its theme was extremely repetitive (but you will understand why when I upload the video). The floats themselves were well done, even featuring characters from Disney's most popular movies. Overall, the event was great, with only one hitch- a lack of food options. But, if that was the worst thing about the night, I won't have a problem spending another $35 to go back. You can now see the inside of the Laugh Floor Comedy Club from the window...This is gunna be lame... These were on every lamp post in the park... The fog machines (while not blending in with their surroundings) added an extra air to the place. As promised, we entered on a red carpet. Here we go! We figured that we should take advantage of the minimal wait times in Tomorrowland, specifically by riding the Astro Orbiter. They had various stages set up just like this around the park with DJs and party music all around. It was pretty sad that I recognized music like Sandstorm by Darude... Space Mountain has a 5 minute wait?!?! Projections ran across the walls of buildings within the parks at all times of the night, while the park's unique lighting helped to make the park even better... We found this guy in Tomorrowland, bouncing on his stilts and doing flips. He will be on the video that I upload... ... Romantic huh? Stephanie wanted to do this, but we ran out of time... Beauty and the Beast's rose in a glass was one of the projections that was seen commonly throughout the park. We decided to grab an early spot for the parade near the Haunted Mansion...

Lisberg would be on the Mainland Europe trip? If so, thats even more of an incentive for me to go! -
My vote went for the Hyper coaster car as they helped to give me the most memorable coaster experience ever. My first ever hyper was La Ronde's Goliath, which of course features the B&M Hyper cars. From the moment we left the lift hill, I was completely out of my seat, experiencing non-stop airtime until we hit the breaking run. That minute of airtime was pure bliss, with extra thanks towards the company that made the ride and the perfectly balanced cars.

^Yes. I do actually! As I am still in High School, I hang out with friends during the week and on the weekend, so the answer is yes- but just in case you were wondering, they all like to go to the parks too. So... about something that they didn't mention yet, but does anyone think that Disneyland is going to keep Rockin' Space Mountain as a night mode as it was originally planned for Rockit Mountain?
-
Is that meant to imply something or is that an accusation? I don't claim any information for myself thank you... Sorry, but I actually do know imagineers, as thats what happens when your father worked on the EPCOT Center opening day story for one of the news stations, plus I know people in Disney Marketing... I don't want to make this out to be a battle, because I don't feel any hostility, but I don't know if you were being serious or not... Plus, Miceage reported two weeks after I did...

^I am already hyped up about the trip and it is still a year and a half away... -
Isn't it scary how Disney is turning to more Pixar films to "save" its parks... As a Floridian with Test Track, the prospect of a Cars themed ride utilizing the same technology as the World of Motion replacement seems like a bad idea, but I would probably be pretty excited if I didn't live in Florida where I could ride Test Track as many times as I wanted to. As for Midway Mania (now Toy Story Mania), I am both skeptic and curious, as I feel that the ride won't be all that intricate (but I am considered to be a real classic Disney fan because I like Dreamflight more than Buzz Lightyear). The whole light technology that Disney is using with the guns is pretty impressive as I have seen it used in a lower-tech version, and even that was impressive. From a regular visitor's perspective, this new attraction will be a hit, but for the Disney-babies (meaning that I have been living in Orlando and visiting Disney since I was born-not that I am a baby now) like myself, it won't really suprise me. So, as for the new park, I really think this is going to be interesting, as it definitely has the Mermaid Lagoon and a futuristic land similar to Port Discovery. As far as I knew, none of these areas or themes could be replicated due to the tight copyright deal set up between the OLC and Disney when DisneySea was built, but maybe the deal was negotiable, considering that we borrowed Cinderellabration (from Tokyo Disneyland) for the Happiest Celebration on Earth...
-
Well, that is true. But, the land will have much more of a use than just another district of Downtown Disney. I am guessing that the new area will include a Disney Village style area along with a large souvenir store like the one in Tokyo. Other than that, a new TTC, a new waterpark and a 5th gate are all in the works for "Wonder Way" (I mean Western Way!)
-
Well, if anyone noticed, the new park picture clearly depicts an updated version of DisneySea's Mermaid Lagoon along with a Port Discovery style land right above it (both on the far left side of the picture). The village on the right seems more like a European version of the fisherman's village on the face of the volcano from Mysterious Island. Western Way is the location for the next gate for Walt Disney World, but I don't think this one is coming to us just yet...
