  1. If ever Robb and Elissa decided to make a TPR Magazine, your comics would be in there for sure!
  2. Episode #9 is now my favorite!
  3. Kermit was in some of the earlier coaster season DVDs. I remember when rode his first B&M! Anyways, great comic!
  4. Until they email Rob and Elissa themselves to ask. They are the kind of parents that want to know every detail, which is why I am asking before they do. It just makes it easier for myself and them (and I guess, Rob and Elissa because then they won't have to hear from my parents for another month). Ok, thanks Elissa! I will explain that to them and make sure that I get that deposit in!
  5. Hey Elissa, how many spots are left on the Midwest USA Trip? I am trying to convince my parents to let my brother and I go on this trip and if I make it seem more urgent that they need to put in a deposit, then they will have to make their decision sooner (and that is a good thing!) I am already picturing myself back on the Son of the Beast at PKI (Heres hoping that it will be open again) and finally getting to ride the infamous Top Thrill Dragster. Oh, and Maverick looks awesome too! I can't wait!!!
  6. This is true. They were testing this setup at Imageworks for a quick finale and if the test has been proven successful, then they will consider making the finale in Imageworks a permanent fixture, removing the last piece of the Imagination pavilion in its original form. The overall experience was interesting, but it wasn't smart how many of the clues had you walking back and forth between portions of the UK or France pavilions. It would have been a better experience if the challenges spanned across the entire world showcase (which in the final version at Epcot, it most likely will) in one fluid sequence.
  7. Actually, its Jedimaster1227 *cough*cough* It was great getting to meet my first TPR member "in the wild!" Erik, you now hold the credit as my first TPR member-meet-up! Hopefully I will see you on the Midwest USA Trip. Oh, and if I forgot to mention, this is another great trip report!
  8. Mine was Kraken-and it is still my favorite!
  9. Today, we went to the Trade Show (Travel Show) to see if any theme park companies had advertisements or booths in the show... We were suprised to only find a few. The front entrance to the Trade Show! One of the Disney handouts gave us a look at the logo for the new Monster's Inc. Laugh Floor Comedy Club coming to the Magic Kingdom in 2007. Also, we got to learn more about The Seas with Nemo and Friends. Oh, and everyone watch out for an official annou Disneyland=Maynardland! Walt Disney World had an adverisement. We wished they had posters up for Sorenland and Derek's Expedition Everest: Mission for the Beer! This was the only theme non-Disney related theme park out of the state that was advertised. Universal had a booth and it was pretty empty. OOH!!! Pretty Car!!! Orlando held the majority of the booths in a certain section of the convention, so this ended up being our last stop...
  10. Over the last week, I was able to test out Epcot's newest experimental technology (that has been 2 years in the works) in the new Team Possible Challenge. (I did do a search to make sure no one had posted photos or videos yet on this topic). Basically, you start out inside of the Canda Hotel where cast members give you a briefing, then you recieve you cell phone and try to foil the plans of three villains (or three villain teams). First, we went to take down Duff Killigan in the UK. After this, we traveled to France to stop Senoir Senior Senior and Senior Junior. After this, we were sent up to the old Imageworks (upstairs at the Imagination Pavilion-this made me really excited) to stop Shego and Dr. Drakken. The finale was really the best part of the experience and after that, I was allowed to walk around the upstairs area, looking at pieces of the past inside of the pavilion, bringing back memories of the Dreamfinder and Journey into Imagination in its original state... It was a little emotional for my family and I but it felt nice to be back upstairs for the first time in ten years. Also, you can watch the video of it (in two parts) here: http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=251867 That day, we left Imagination hoping that someday they will open up the second floor again, and bring back the Dreamfinder... A guy can dream can't he? Everything in Imageworks is still there (in part), just covered up by black sheets... This was the standup Figment placed at the top of the escalator to Imageworks nearly 7 years ago...Way to go Figment! Anyone miss the Rainbow Corridor? After the challenge was over, we were taken to a computer to fill out a survey. I told Disney my feelings about Imagination and the Dreamfinder. I hope others will do the same. The hidden Mickey in this adventure is pretty lame and not so subtle. Sorry Guy, but Kim is mine now!!! But...if you want, you can have Ron...I don't really want him... Inside of Imageworks upstairs, the finale takes place. It brought back alot of memories for my family and I to be up there. Clues and hints are sent to your Kimmunicator direct from the Team Possible headquarters in Canada! This toy soldier decides to tell you information about how to defeat Duff Killigan, but that didn't come too quickly for us...First, he had to insult my father after learning that his codename was Agent Wookie. (See the video to hear the insult.) Team Possible wants you! You are shown a briefing video before you get your Kimmunicator that is comical and informative. This video sets the stage for your adventure in Kim Possible's world (Guy, this is probably your dream adventure!) The three villain teams you face in the TP Challenge. This handy little form is the first thing you fill out to be able to participate in the Team Possible Challenge. Basically, it says that if you break it, you buy it-for $300!
  11. More comics please (Less Elissa splatter... That is a sad sight to see)
  12. I am thinking about taking my parents with me to try one of the upcharge dinners, but we will see. I think the best time of the year is actually a single date at Epcot: October 1st. That is Epcot's birthday and it is cool to be there every year on its birthday. In 2007, Epcot's birthday will be especially great if they end up doing the 25th anniversary celebration we have been hearing about.
  13. I too love the Cheese Soup. Just to let you know, if you come to Epcot during the time that they aren't doing the Food and Wine Festival, you can eat at Le Cellier and still get the cheese soup there. It is the same recipe, with a bigger cup. You get more for your money in the restuarant, but you didn't hear that from me...
  14. Has anyone here done the special dinner series events yet. I have heard that they are very good (especially if you like food). Also, it is held inside of the old Millenium Village Pavilion which would be cool to go back inside again (even though it is gutted).
  15. From what I was told about the Sheikra/Griffon deal at Busch, B&M can't make another dive machine for a certain amount of years under contract by anyone other than Busch. I'm not so sure on this one, but I figured I should put in my two cents (technically, my friend's two cents).
  16. Hey Soren (if this is Soren-or maybe its just a picture of Soren as the avatar), I thought that Argentina was featured last year (or the year before)? Thanks for the update! Do you work at Epcot now or are you just visiting?
  17. I believe that there was a deal with Busch Entertainment and B&M so that B&M couldn't make any other dive machines (except for Busch) during a certain amount of years-but this hasn't been confirmed as far as I know.
  18. I rode Kraken for the first time in over a year. Over this year, I had ridden more intense coasters (with more airtime) like La Ronde's Goliath, Shiekra at Busch Gardens Africa (Tampa) and Rock n' Rollercoaster at MGM. After riding Kraken, I was dissapointed to find that the feeling of the great drop it had is now gone. I blame Goliath!
  19. Don't know if this is an appropriate time to let Robb and Elissa know that people have taken it to the next level of evil rodent hating by posting a TPR Video on Google Video. (It wasn't me, just reporting here!) http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=5465479414109625973&q=theme+park+review&hl=en
  20. The Predator looks amazing, but the Stargate looks so fake. Sorry, but Sci-Fi fans like me always criticize. I hope you had a good trip and thanks for sharing with us!
