How do you know they're scrapping it? I don't, though the way it was worded seemed to indicate that. However, I'm really hoping that's not the case! Ah, I see... and I feel the same way. When I rode it last June, it was a lot of fun and pretty smooth for a Vekoma. I hope it gets sent to another park. But yeah, I'm glad all of the Arrows are staying, for now.

Six Flags is expanding the coffin promo to all of its parks. Anybody going to give it a try?

I'd be disappointed if either of the Arrows ends up going away. I prefer Ninja over The Bat, but I really like The Bat's setting - way back in the trees, away from everything else. And I'm one of the dozen people that enjoy Arrow loopers. As far as Arrows go, Vortex was pretty smooth when I rode it. Even the "wild mouse" turn into the MCBR didn't deliver the headbanging I expected it to. Firehawk was fun, but I'd rather see it go than Vortex or The Bat.

I stumbled upon this on Facebook this morning. It seems like the park is trying to keep everyone guessing by dropping hints for either Firehawk or Vortex being removed. I was convinced it would be Firehawk up until now, but I'm honestly stumped at this point. Plot twist: both Firehawk AND Vortex are being removed.

Flight of Fear - Kings Island

Nighthawk is subtly different from Batwing/Firehawk. Shorter layout with a different ending. True, but most people won't notice or care about that. To non-enthusiasts, they're both the same ride.

That won't make Batwing unique; Nighthawk is still around.

None of KI's coasters blew me away, but I liked all of them. If I lived closer, I'd definitely head out there for a last ride on whatever is leaving.

Vortex wasn't anything mind-blowing, but I didn't think it was that bad in terms of roughness. Same with Invertigo.
