Something seems odd....if The Thing is being advertised as a "cold" house and Winter's Night description is "as snow falls" wouldn't they both be in the same Soundstage? Plus when I drove to the parks on Tuesday morning I took the side road along Hard Rock Hotel. The parade building door was up and you can clearly see that the Mardi Gras Floats are still located inside. Early September would seem kind of late to start construction on a house. I am not calling you out just making some observations

We had fun playing there about a year ago. It was a nice break from the pirate themed courses in the area and its just about as close to ghetto mini golf as you will get in Orlando. Yes the course has a very confusing layout but it just added to the randomness of this place. Usually its pretty cheap to play here and not too far away from us. -

Good article from the Daily Mail (UK) with awesome pictures depicting the now defunct Six Flags New Orleans http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1392574/Welcome-Zombieland-Images-theme-park-devastated-Hurricane-Katrina.html -
As far as everyone knows, no they will not be moving it but when it is all said and done we shall see. Personally, I am very excited that Universal is not only doing mini golf, but also in the 50s SciFi B movie theme. Of course there are already haters out there inquiring about the parking situation (charges) for the course alone but leave it be...Universal is doing something new...lets enjoy the moment

I was debating about it but now we are possibly adding another stop in there, Club TPR looks like a sure bet. Only question is...for the discounted admission..is that valid for more then one person or only the cardholder?

Planning a nice little road trip this summer (yes even with the high gas prices) and would like some feedback as to where everyone thinks is the best place to purchase tickets for Dollywood, Holiday World, and Cedar Point. I know that the gate or online is the quickest and easiest but I have heard, for instance, that the hotels surrounding the parks can be cheaper. And by cheaper, I mean a few dollars off. I am NOT interested in no timeshare garbage (i know how those things work, no thanks). So any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I loved the new queue portion but when I went (before holiday week) the new section was open our first trip through but when we got off of the ride and wanted to check it out again, it was blocked off. One awesome note of detail in the expanded graveyard is the tombstones of Ezra, Gus and Phineas (the hitchhiking ghosts) in the back of the graveyard.

Which day did the two of you go? We were planning on going on Friday but with the little one getting over a stomach bug and passing along to one of us, we opted out. It looked really good but the heat factor was something we couldn't deal with while sick. -
Universal vs WDW
beyondthepalace replied to sharpstick's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
^ there is much love that needs to be given to UO resort but the same can be said for WDW. Old moldy monorail interiors, a water park that has been abandoned for many years (River Country), and many other items. I love Disney, I love Universal. While both places may have its faults, I will still go there over and over again. -
Cedar Point Help

Was planning on staying there for my trip there in mid-June. By the old entrance do you mean the Cedar Point Causeway (looking at Google maps) -

Is it bad to be surprised that they didn't have a crappy mini golf course here? -
Photo TR: Gadsden Ghetto Fair

They probably just put that name on it to charge you more but honestly its worth it compared to the premade garbage you get at a lot of ghetto fairs.
