  1. For me I try to make it to Raging Bull or Goliath either one is fine. Usually Im with my friend who prefers the "start from the entrance to the back" type person. That sometimes causes an issue...For me I'm going for the biggest and the best and she is going for what ever we first pass up. For me I dont mind the zig zag walking its worth it when getting to the best of the best rides first. Also its good exercise so what can you lose?
  2. ^Yea I noticed a lot of people do bash M-Force for some reason. Its the only giga coaster I been on so I guess I can't say much. I'm sure the newer gigas are more intense but that doesnt mean M-Force is a lame coaster. I really enjoyed M-Force. However do I admit I would like to try the other gigas as well still even then Im sure I'd still enjoy M-Force a lot.
  3. Disk'Os even on the lower end of the wannabe coaster totem pole! Whats worse then a Wacky Worm?
  4. Suspended coasters. Mavrick or RMC Goliath?
  5. Im sure this was said a dozen times but I'd say the worst names are repetitive names. Like Batman or Goliath. The names alone are ok but it can be very confusing and tiring when several coasters have the same names through out the country or even world. There is so many creative ideas people can think up of to name a coaster. Each coaster is unique in their own way and should have a different name. The only exception would be if they were exact clones. But take Goliath at SF Great America and then Goliath at Magic Mountain. They are totally different from each other. Different company. Different type of coasters. Ones wood. Ones Steel. So its silly they sure the name. Its not like naming humans where there is billions of us so of course there will be several names reused over and over but there is only so many coaster in the world compare to people.
  6. I never been to Coney Island but i want to go one day. I guess id say Cyclone because its a classic and looks fun. Universal Studios Orland/Islands of Adventure
  7. Hey have I have nothing against that. Each to their own but growing up in the area I lived in all my life I still cant see the appeal. I have a long distant friend who lives in northern Alabama and it was suppose to get a snow storm of some sort. She was HOPING for snow! While most adults would be discouraged by the idea of a snow storm. Years back I had another friend from Florida who also you'd think won millions of dollars from the lottery when she seen a small sprinkle out her window. If they ever had to move to the mid west or Chicago area I think their minds would quickly change...
  8. Did you read the article right above your post? Yes I did but i want to know WHY someone would want to experience that. I guess living in the midwest area Im pretty cynical when it comes to winter time weather. I been to Florida during the winter too and i have to say i prefer Florida's winters 100 times over. I'm also not a sports person so i can care less about skiing and snowboarding and all that.
  9. Ok I hope I dont come off as insensitive by straying away from the actual topic at hand....but why on earth are Floridians traveling up cold as buck,Wisconsin? Wisconsin Dells is awesome and all but in all honesty if I lived in Florida i wouldnt want to leave the comfort of the sub topics to go to some miserable gloom, snow, ice, and cold brutal winds...You can say they are visiting family but Id be like heck with that! Better off buying plane tickets for them to visit you instead! Or they could just wait till the summer to go there....just saying. Midwest winters are miserable.
  10. ^lol thats cute however i dont mean a toy coaster i mean a real one:P However i remember wanting one of those as a kid but by the time this became a thing i was a little to big for it...I was like 8 or 9 and of course this toy is made for toddlers and preschoolers i assume. Im super short always have been and even at 8 i was to big for that thing by then lol. They need to make one for adults....your own backyard coaster kit!
  11. I know quite a few people who are very scared of those swing rides...and i dont mean Windseeker like rides but the old classic chair-o-plane/Yo-Yo rides....i never got that since while they are fun they really arnt that thrilling or that high up...they are the most basic of typical carnival rides. Im guessing its something to do with the chains though i guess a lot of people have a fair of them breaking or something. O.O
  12. We have steel coasters. We have wooden coasters. Now imagine if someone invented the plastic coaster?? Sturdy think industrial plastic of course! Lets invent a new breed of coaster!
  13. Also all those El Toro posts make me want to ride El Toro one day....that coaster looks epic!! Im sure if I rode it,it would take first place for favorite wooden roller coaster. I know its not 200 ft tall but it almost looks like the wooden version of a hyper coaster!
  14. Here is my favorite steel and wooden roller coaster! Favorite steel coaster!! (This is the only giga i been on but i have to say so far gigas are AWESOME! ) Favorite wooden coaster! (only RMC i been on but its still awesome!)
  15. 1.Number one of course is the Newyork Newyork coaster in Las Vegas! That coaster is epic! I dont get why it gets so much hate...one of the best coasters i ever been on! not gonna lie!! 2.Meanstreak best wooden coaster ever! People dont know a real ride when they see one! People who think its rough at just sissies!! 3. Lol just kidding! now to the REAL list!!! 1.M-force(now I know this is no longer the king of gigas but i have yet to go on the others so so far this one is my favorite) 2.TTD (this may not be the most popular for top spots but it was my first and only strata coaster so far and my fastest it may be over quickly but sure has a great adrenaline rush!) 3.Ride of Steel at Darien Lake (I havent been there since 2005 but hypers are my favorite type of coaster and i remember enjoying it a lot.I was stuck on if i wanted to put this up so high because of all the flat areas but the drops were a lot of fun especially the biggest one and i remember still having a lot of fun none the less ) 4.Goliath at Six Flags Great America (Again i know this is the king of RMCs but its sadly the ONLY RMC i been on! im sure if I been others my opinion would change however from just riding Goliath i know RMCs are AWESOME!) 4.Mavrick (This is a tie with Goliath. Its a smaller coaster but really packs a punch and is intense! Also love the steep drop.) 5.Magnum(My second favorite hyper it may be rough but has a lot of intense air time) 6. sheikra/valvran(also a tie they may not be the best of coasters but i still think dive coasters are awesome that hang and intense drop is a lot of fun) 7.Voyage(I havent been to Holiday World since 2007 but i really remember really enjoy this coaster) 8.Hades(I know this isnt a popular vote because of its roughness but i enjoyed it alot when i went to Mt Olympus in 2009) 9.Raging Bull(my third favorite hyper and is at my home park) 10.Vortex at Kings Island (I know this isnt a popular coaster but i think its cool because it had both the tall steep drop and inversions also yet again i have been to Kings Island since 2004 but id like to go again and try out the epic looking Diamondback as well as Banshee) As you have probably learned from this list I didnt get to travel to as many parks as most here either because I didnt really have the money or/and also the fact i dont drive but i still want to go to more parks and experience more and im sure my list will change in the future.
  16. There is times when Im walking down the stairs in my house I like to imagine me going down a mini coaster just like the one in this video! I dream of flying through my house in a mini coaster cart. Yes i have a very child like imagination for my age lol. Another is imagining several mile long coasters with hill after hill after hill while ride in the car sometimes.
  17. Same. I know most enthusiasts don't like the inverting drops because they "take away the extreme ejector time" But it's like they fail to remember there's an entire rest of the coaster filled with extreme ejector time after the first drop. That being said, I highly doubt we will see an inverting drop, unless the are going to go higher and try to market it as "the world's tallest inversion." I have to say yea for the most park inverted drops arnt as fun as traditional drops but can still be fun in its own way. On a slightly different note however I have to say shallow curved drops are kind of lame....I know this is nothing to do with the Cedar Point RMC but im talking about coaster drops in general. Take Kumba for example while the inversions are fun the drop is just sad....yet i hear people still scream on those type of drops....to me those are the most disappointing drops. Im sure if the curved drops was super steep that would be a different story.
  18. I never got why people are so scared of soap,deodorant,and/or tooth paste....like for gods sake how do you not know you smell like the devils butt!! and better yet WHY would you want to smell like that....
  19. I know i was just joking lol. They did go to the HP theme park in the last episode thats what i was referring to.
  20. Did anyone happen to run into Sheldon and Amy if you happened to be here recently? I heard they spent most of their time in the Harry Potter section.
  21. You know why some hyper coasters are to tame and mediocre? Because they were forced to take Ritalin
  22. ^Well it depends what kind of person you are and what type of rides are you into. If you are a major thrill ride enthusiast CP and SFMM ARE good examples of great parks! If you are more into parks that are for the whole family you would most like pick a different park for that spot. Its really a matter of opinion.
  23. Gilroy Gardens would be the weird nerdy step brother with the giant glasses and nastily voice who sits under the tree during recess reading a book on different types of leaves while snacking on carrot sticks....
  24. Yep thats sure a lot of snow..... Any coaster fans enjoy the roller coaster's not as thrilling but still fun winter time cousin, sledding?? Sledding is fun and all however I so am not a winter person!! but if someone invited me to go sledding I wouldnt pass it up. I havent went sledding since i was a preteen though.
