Surprised nobody has posted this yet (at least not that I've seen): http://www.ign.com/articles/2012/09/04/hold-your-horses-on-that-fourth-avatar The last part is the best part!! Maybe even cancelled (we can hope)!!! Wonder if it's too late to make Universal Orlando's Transformers into an Avatar attraction. The franchise would fit that technology great and both coasts would have a unique attraction. Now let's get on with Beastly Kingdom!!!

So how'd everybody do in the DL 1/2? Had an absolute blast. My slowest 1/2 time but we spent some time taking pictures with the characters which was really fun. Good luck on your Cross Country Meet. That trail next to the beach is where I did my long 20 mile run before the LA Marathon. It's a nice place to run.

What Was The Last Coaster You Rode?

BTMRR at Disneyland (Sunday) -
^ I think that was more of a cost saving thing than a "We have a ride coming soon" thing. I'm sure when they closed Log Jammer this ride was in development, no question. But they could have conceivably kept Log Jammer open until now but they didn't because the ride cost a LOT to operate and maintain.

What is your next park?

Knott's/Disney throughout the weekend. A little Disney tomorrow, a little Knott's tomorrow, Running through Disney on Sunday and a little Disney after before heading home. -
Would definitely like to see more details about this particular perk, ie how early and how often it will be available. They've kind of been testing it on Sunday's over the summer. I'd guess you get in at 10:00am vs. 10:30. I would imagine maybe weekends during the summer? Knott's has actually been doing it every day over the summer for Camp Snoopy and either Ghostrider, Montezooma's or Silver Bullet. I did the early entry a few weeks ago for Tatsu and it was great. Didn't ride Tatsu but got in before the GP and rode the 2nd train out on X2.

So I was looking more at the Season Pass deal ... It's pretty amazing. We are for sure going to get this even though our current passes are good until the end of the year. Probably head up to the park before HH closes and activate our new passes. So as an example, if you are buying 4 or more passes and you get a pass now (say for Fright Fest) you will actually get the pass for 16 months. $64.99 for each pass or $5.89 per month for the next year for both parks with all the perks. New perks for the Gold Pass: - Free Parking on every pass - Free Parking at every Six Flags park - Extra "Bring a Friend" days (these are in addition to the bring a friend days offered on the regular pass) - VIP Early Entry to Magic Mountain (Begins in 2013) - VIP Early Entry to Hurricane Harbor (Begins in 2013) If you are buying less than 4 passes or after January 6th the Gold Pass will be $114.99 or $10.45 per month. Still a great deal.

^^^ All of the water features have been removed. The entire area is just dirt. The pump houses are still there though so there may be some kind of water but I doubt the coaster will use it as a "Feature". Hopefully the re-do of the area includes redoing/repainting/removing the fake tree near Bugs Bunny World.

I'd say 600 on a good day. This will most likely be like Green Lantern and Lex Luthor where I really won't bother riding it much after media day. I agree with Robb, I'd much rather have a Wing Rider than this. It's going to be fun, I guess I was just hoping for "more". Then again, with only 2 parks really getting a new coaster next year guess we should be happy.

Just showed my 14 year old son the video and his exact words were "I'd rather have Log Jammer". The ride looks "ok" but I'm sad they aren't doing more with the area and all the space they cleared from removing log jammer. Doesn't look like it's using the terrain at all which is sad. It does look like some parts may be missing from the video though, just have to wait and see I guess.

Largest relocated coaster?

You can throw Phoenix into the mix as well.
