^ Good one. But remember, with rides like Peoplemoves and trains, when I put them into the park, they won't have the same layout, they will just be peoplemover-esque ... I worked on Steel Dragon a bit today. It's kind of a hard ride to do because of the restrictions in the game. I got the heights as close as I could get them, but the forces on the ride are WAY too high. I may have to shorten the drops for intensity sake. The other problem I had is there really aren't any good pics of the beginning and end of the ride on RCDB. If anybody knows where to find some more pics of it, let me know. Also, if anybody wants to design some of the rides for the park on the Coaster Designer and use them in the park, let me know. That's how I do all my rides before I put them into the park anyway.

What are wooden Characteristics??? I figured, it's made out of wood, it's wood. Nuff' said. So, does SOB count as steel? It's got a non-woodie characteristic in the loop.

Okay, here are the first few screenshots from the park. They include the parks entrance, the Mountain I made and our first coaster: Flashback. (It's already in the game, and therefore easy) I also made the railroad, not the same design as the Alton Towers Railway, but they are the same trains.

Whether the writer is a "roller coaster freak" or not, most journalists have this thing called "fact-checking" which they oughta try before they make even the most innocent fluff piece (which is all this is) a complete waste. The article's title is "Shake, rattle and roll: Get your thrills on Florida's tallest roller coaster" They don't make a differentiation between wooden and steel. Therefore, the headline contains a blatant untruth. While it may be the tallest wooden coaster in Florida (there's competition?), that's not what the headline of the article states. That's just flat out BAD reporting. You can defend it with "well maybe he meant this" arguments all day long, but it doesn't change anything. The more you have to explain the article, the worse the writing of it becomes. //oh, and writing the article in present tense warrants additional point loss

Nice TR Michael. Yeah, that certainly means Queue building where I come from. Sad they had to take out the last nice place in the park to put it in though. Hope it's something good ... but it will probably be crap.

Saw House of Wax last night and was very disappointed. My mum saw it and told me it was really scary, so I was expecting it to be better than it was. Nowhere near as scary as Amityville, which really freaked me out. I couldn't sleep the night I saw that!

Last one I rode was the Boomerang at Pleasure Island, Cleethorpes, UK.

Yeah, not gonna happen. Fortunately, or Un-fortunately Kristi wants to go to Hershey as bad as I do, if not moreso. So doing solo trips is not really something that happens too much. I will let you guys know about Sunday, but I don't think it should be a problem.

Awesome video Tom. But, I can't help but think that the original version of that song would have been better for that group. For those who don't know, the song was originally titled "Let's get Retarded" but Black Eyed Peas were pressured into changing it. Tom, if you want the original version, let me know. It's the same exact song except for the "Started" part.

It's really hot here today, so i've stayed in as much as possible. The people who live across the road are having an argument in the middle of the street. Living here is so much fun.

Me either. I mean, ALL parks have accidents. That's why they are called accidents. I'm sure there are plenty of parks that nobody has ever died at. Nobody has ever died at DCA as far as I know. But, people have heart attacks, strokes, asthma attacks, etc when they go to parks. It's something that can't be helped. I have never felt unsafe on a ride because of maintenance, etc. Sure I have thought "What if an earthquake happens and I'm on Goliath" or something like that, but it doesn't freak me out enough to not go on it. And regarding "Carni" rides, those rides, at least in CA, are inspected by the state more than permanent park rides.

Awesome suggestions everyone. I started the RCT2 park yesterday, well just did the basic of basic landscaping. I named the park RetroLand for now, I will try and post some screenshots tomorrow. What I do need though is a extinct Locomotive ride, because, after all, what's a park without a train??? Plus I want a train in the park, damnit!!! I built the RCT2 park the biggest I can get it, and got the most $$ I could get. If anybody wants to help work on it, let me know. We can pass it around, add some stuff and pass it back. Y'know. Could be cool. I figured I would start on the easy ones, Flashback, Shuttle loops, etc. I also want to do Steel Dragon 2000 pretty quick since it will probably be the premier ride. I just need to find more pics and stats, etc. Any suggestions on Landscaping? Should we just have it all flat or do you think we need mountains, lakes, etc.
