Awesome video. Looks like an awesome time is being had by all. -
Can't follow you down that road. I prefer Beverly over that stuff (as well as C2, Diet Coke w/ Splenda, or any of the other nonsense they keep putting out). My drink of choice is Diet Cherry Coke. I avoid regular Diet Coke as much as possible, though sometimes I get stuck with it. Back before the DCC went wide (it wasn't available in SC until Coke launched Vanilla Coke), we'd stockpile the stuff when we went to Florida like Yankees buying smokes.

Is there anyone left who hasn't seen it, or am I the only person who noticed that the number of registered folks went up by around 900 over the last week? Cool, either way. Now if they'll all go vote on the contest, that'd be the tits as well. (just wanted to use "the tits" again. Haven't heard it in a while) -

Awesome photo's ... the Europe parks seem alot more hassle-free than American parks. ^ The guy on the left looks alot like Mr. Six. -

I've been working on this project for the past 2 weeks. It's due on July 8th and it will take AT LEAST that long. Well, I have to have this certain part done before I go home at 12:00 and I'm stuck. This is the first time I have had no clue where to go next. Ugh ... maybe it's becuase it's Friday. Gregg "I'm thinking I need to make a McD's Apple Pie run to clear my head" C. -
SFMM on Tuesday anyone?
Sir Clinksalot replied to Mr.Six's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I was thinking of taking the kids up one morning next week before the LA schools get out, but I'm not sure which day yet. I'm thinking maybe Thursday since I will only have one of them. But, if it turns out to be Tuesday I will let you know. -
I think Robb mentioned that there wasn't going to be an SFMM segment this year either. I have been to SFMM probably every time he has been, except maybe once, and I have yet to see a camera. I kinda hope there will be one though, or we probably won't be in the video at all this year. Stupid work and no trip taking ... Edit ... wait a second ... looking at that picture is MUST be old ... Robb hasn't lost all his weight and he's wearing coaster patch shirt ... WOW.

Only the first picture worked. The slide show isn't showing the pictures. I've found it easier to just link people to your photo site and let them view the pics on their own. Good TR though, sounds like DCA was alot more crowded yesterday then it was on Saturday. We walked on ToT 3 times. -
Want to get your video game lover into classical music? Here is your chance: http://www.hollywoodbowl.com/tix/performance_detail.cfm?id=2414 Too bad I have to work, this sounds like it would be pretty cool.

Dude ... the shoot the mexicans ride look freakin' amazing!!! Love it!! Looks like you guys are having an awesome time so for. bobby jean land looks like it was a pretty cool park. Enjoy Your next few days if your not on. -
Loved the old Zelda and Final Fantasy games. Not too hot on the new ones. They are more about "Look at this cool graphic" than "Hey, look at this cool game" Why, when you eat chinese food, are you hungry an hour later?

I'm not exactly sure how they met, Robb was probably scoping out High Schools or something. Robb popped the question in Europe on a footer on Colossos. It's in the Europe video. I thought the video might still be on the site, but it's not. Sorry.

I think Robb had mentioned trying to set up some chats while they are on their trip, but it depends on the hotel connections. My guess is until they get to the Disney portion of their trip, connections may not be the best. Plus, they just got there yesterday, I'm sure chatting is the last thing on their mind. Once they are on Euro-time you may see them on more.

I have received 2 PM's today about some innapropriate conduct in the chat room last night. Now, I realize with Robb and Elissa gone it may seem like it's free-for-all time. But, I am just asking all to respect the awesome forums that they have created for us to hang out in and be on your best behavior. If anybody sees anything innapropriate please let one of the ASS-sistants know. Thanks.

Think you missed the point there, captain. The last thing Universal wants to do is build a ride that uses the same tech as a Disney ride or a Busch ride. If it's "Dinosaur" tech with a different theme, people are still going to mentally make the connection to "Dinosaur," which I doubt Universal wishes anyone to do. Same argument is why we're still waiting for "Indiana Jones: at MGM - exact same ride tech over at Animal Kingdom, so why not wait for the next step? (the obvious exception is all the damn motion sims (Star Tours, Body Wars, Wild Arctic). Remember those showed up before Universal had really stepped up in the market. No one's going to open another one of those anytime soon (and in the case of Body Wars, KEEP it open).
