In our realy first "Coaster Whore" move this weekend we are thinking of touring all of the smaller socal parks. Our plan is as follows: Saturday morning: Drive the coast from Camarillo out to Santa Monica to hit West Coaster. Head east on the 10 to Ontario for Scandia then out to Castle and maybe Pharoh's. I should hit 100 at Castle park since I'm sitting pretty at 96 right now. Then out to Anaheim to stay at the Hyatt ($50 a night) and to Disney on Sunday. Anybody know of any discounts at these parks (except Disney)?

Doing USH on a weekday shouldn't be too bad. You should be able to fit in everything since there really isn't that much to do. This is how I would plan your day: Park usually opens at 9am (lower lot stuff usually opens an hour later) Arrive at park open and head straight for the studio tour. The tour takes about 45 minutes and is pretty cool for those who haven't done it 5 million times. After the tour head down the escalators and do the Lower Lot attractions. Mummy first, followed by JP, Backdraft and the Behind the Scenes stuff. Those 4 things should not take you longer than 2 hours, if that. Head back up the escalators and check the lines for Back to the Future and Shrek 4D, they shouldn't be too bad at this point. I would also try to see the first WaterWorld show (usually about 1pm). After WaterWorld head over and do Terminator 3D and check the times for Animal Planet Live and the new Fear Factor show. This should take you to no later than 4pm, and you are done. Have fun!!!

Thanks for the link. I really like both ideas for the rides and will certainly make me get back to the Deep South next year!!! Seeing what Dollywood has done with the past, I have the confidence that the rides will be very close to the concept.

^ She's not really that far from 2 six flags park. Hmm, no gay guy this season? I guess since they had 2 in Philly they don't need one now. Wonder if they will get jobs at Schlitterbahn.

I need to figure out all of the Platinum pass stuff we get with our Busch passes before November. Sucks that our home Busch park doesn't have platinum priviledges on the rides ... oh wait, the rides at SWSD suck. Thanks for the cool TR's.

^ Spinning Raft rides ROCK!!! Nice TR, I don't think we will hit Cypress Gardens on our trip in November but it looks like a nice little park. Like the new hair!!!

I love all the "no smoking" stickers on the backs of the headrests... Is there a largescale problem with folks smoking on water rides? Seems like it'd be rather pointless to me.

We had a great time Saturday with everyone. Thanks to Robb and Elissa for being brave to have everyone at their place. HH was lots of fun, I seriously thought we were going to flip out of the raft on the family raft ride. It was great!!! I am glad we got to meet some more people from the boards and I look forward to the next time we see everyone!! Kristi
