I do have to point out that this was not a true story. Somebody at work emailed that to me. I wish ...

The "Say Something Random" ThreadSir Clinksalot replied to robbalvey's topic in Random, Random, Random I wasted 34 minutes on the phone with the stupid cable company to get the internet working, they told me it was an issue with the computer not the connection. So I go in the other room, come back and it was like a miracle! Poof it was on again. I hate computers. Kristi "computers suck" C.

http://quizilla.com/users/serogi/quizzes/What%20Disneyland%20attraction%20are%20you?/ The Mark Twain: A leisurely paddle steamboat navigating the Rivers of America in the 19th Century! A venerable Disneyland institution, you date to opening day in 1955 and respresent stablity, tradition, and a healthy dose of Americana. You never make your passengers seasick (in part due to the fact that you role along your secret underwater track) and always offer some great panoramic views of a Frontier mining town, New Orleans, and back woods glimpses of wildlife and injuns straight out of a Samuel Clemens tale! Small children and old folks like you best, but that doesn't mean you don't know how to get out and enjoy the nightlife, you play "Steamboat Willie" in the nightly production of the Fantasmic! Spectacular. Just one question, just how is that you are always managing to be headed "down river"? Thanks Screamscape!!!

Who cuts the grass? On Saturday afternoon, I was sitting in my lawn chair, drinking beer and watching my wife mow the lawn. The neighbor lady from across the street was so outraged that she came over and shouted at me, "You should be hung." I took a drink from my can of beer, wiped the cold foam from my lips, lifted my darkened Ray ban sunglasses and stared directly at this nosey neighbor and then calmly replied, "I am, that's why she cuts the grass."

Lake Compounce or Six Flags New England?Sir Clinksalot replied to CreativeForce's topic in Ask Alvey ^ Why would you show him a picture of an SLC and tell him to go to SFNE???

And in Espanol: Bueno, fui a Gran América y Knotts y el video del disparo.

Well, I've since found out that that coaster type is the Setpoint Seizmic, or it at least looks like it. I've been told that it never got past model prototyping as the Multidimensional 4D happened around the same time and that got more attention. Is that true ? Are there any pics of the model ? What capabilities does the coaster have, can it loop etc ? As for Wild! I'd love to see Frontier add vertical tunnelling and make the tunnelling fairly intelligent so it can automatically adjust the exit itself so you don't need to edit terrain tiles yourself.

Okay, so this update is MUCH MUCH later than I planned..... Sorry for the lack of updates, here is the current status of the project. I've finished all the modelling for the set unless I notice anything obvious missing. The reason for no new pictures is that I'm having texturing problems ingame. The only objects that seem to texture properly from Maya are the objects where the top/bottom texture isn't important, like the flat Mario and enemy sprite objects. For some reason the UV texture coordinates seem to be messed up when I use either Maya or Milkshape.... Other people are using Milkshape successfully though so I'm not sure what is going wrong. Luckily about 5 people are helping me figure out why the UV's don't seem to be saving correctly so hopefully I'll be able to complete the set soon. Soooo basically I haven't stopped working on it, I've just hit a snag. After this set is finished I'll probably be working on either a Starfox or F-Zero set... F-Zero would make a great theme for a launched dueling/racing coaster

Blackpool In Rct3!Sir Clinksalot replied to martin182's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness Download PowerArchiver here... it still works even when the trial is over, you still get the nag screen though. It can deal with most archive formats as well. As for BPB, the park is pretty nice although I'd have loved to have seen the full detail version. My machine takes an age to load the low detail park mostly due to RAM I think and it can be a little sluggish in parts due to the amount of scenery. Unfortunately I can't tell how accurate it is as a recreation because I haven't been to Blackpool although it's on my "places to visit" list.

Ok Simon, I've found a bizarre pic of you, but the problem is I look even sillier on it than you do! Here we are at my brother's wedding last year, playing with onion rings (as you do). Simon, Me and onion rings!
-
Well, this is about the best pic of me I have on this machine at the minute. I'm pretty sure Bocakey will have a better one (or more embarrassing lol) though... This was taken at Sherwood Forest last year, I used to live about 15 minutes from it so we used to go semi-regularly. Don't I look happy Mmmm not a great pic but there you go...

What is your first memory?Sir Clinksalot replied to FlyingScooter's topic in Random, Random, Random Honestly, I've blocked out alot of my childhood. I see pictures and think I remember things, but I really don't. I'm with Robb ... I remember waking up this morning and that I have to do something today, but don't know what it is.

Does anyone miss the Discovery Wings channel?Sir Clinksalot replied to FlyingScooter's topic in Random, Random, Random Yeah, it was a cool channel, but obviously enough people didn't agree. We don't even get the Military channel so I had wondered what had become of Discovery Wings.
