Geez, I've only seen day 0 and I'm trying to convince my dad to take me on the UK trip next year... count on seeing me next year, robb! I loved the video - I wonder what you guys would have actually done if they... well... you know what I mean. p.s. SCHOOL'S OVER! yay. I'd skip school to hang with you guys in the UK ANY day. -
Kiddie Coaster Knockbacks
Golfie replied to downunder's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
People can always get onto that Jetson's coaster at SFGAm... Interesting, I've never had that happen to me (although I AM 13) -
SFMM MAXIMUM height restrictions
Golfie replied to DegoRed's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I think mostly other than Deja Vu, the height problems would only be for comfort. -
Well, the best top spin is DEFINITELY not the one at SFGAm. You can't even stand within 20 feet of it because of the piercing squeaky noise it makes.

What parks do you plan to visit in 2006?
Golfie replied to coasterguy618's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Not many this year... Already went to BGA Will be going to: SFGAm (about a million times) Any other six flags theme park if we stop by Mt. Olympus Timber Falls Adventure Park (I was originally planning to go to Cedar Point, Paramount's Kings Island, and Geauga Lake, but I decided to get a six flags season pass instead. Maybe next year!) -
A Big BYE-BYE to those going on the UK Trip!
Golfie replied to Golfie's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
WOW! Jubilee Odessy is REALLY BIG for an SLC! Never seen one that large. It looks like it was fun... can't wait to see some photos of you guys - don't forget the random boob pictures (LOL!) -
best AIRTIME!!!!11!!!
Golfie replied to colossus's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Viper at SFGAm doesn't have any HUGE airtime, but it has a lot of it. It's a pretty fun ride. -
A Big BYE-BYE to those going on the UK Trip!
Golfie replied to Golfie's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Yeah... I'd go to the UK ANY DAY! But I have more important things to do like.. go upside-down on my swingset and make roller coaster noises and getting my picture taken and photoshopped into a roller coaster car and... OKAY... I didn't have $1800 to spend -
Gwazi at BGA has this weird high-speed unbanked turn before the break run... it hurts a bit. I think that the ride that gives you the best expression after you stop is Viper at SFGAm. The ride is just long enough where after you stop, you go "dang..."

Whats your favorite Vekoma?
Golfie replied to Neogreeneyez's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Never been on one. I think that I'm jinxed... every time I go to SFGAm, Deja Vu is closed or the wait is around 4 Hrs. Other then that, I've never gotten the chance to ride a vekoma. -
How Old Are You & What Was Your 1st Coaster?
Golfie replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Lol.. by the looks of the poll, majority are 12-15. Anyways, my first coaster was Comet at Herysheypark -
"Design The Next TPR T-Shirt" Contest!!!
Golfie replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I made three of them... anyways, here they are! An idea I totally scrapped would be: THEME PARK REVIEW For the REAL credit whores! ^A'course that wouldn't be good since it has the word "Whore" in it. I'm not so sure about this one... maybe I could change the "SPEED LIMIT" to something more related to roller coasters... any ideas? I made this funkay roller coaster thing... it has the tagline, too! Now YOU can be part of the Alvey posse! -
SFMM MAXIMUM height restrictions
Golfie replied to DegoRed's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Yeah... definitely not Viper unless he sits in the front train. Arrow coasters like that have pretty much no leg room. I'm about 5' 7" and when I sat in about the 4th row on Python at BGA my knees came up to my chest. There's a small amnt. of clearance when you go over the station. My dad is 6' 4" and he went on it, but he said it was pretty scary because it seemed like his feet were going to get chopped off. -
New Zamperla Coaster Prototype Photos & Video
Golfie replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
lol! I always love seeing guys in suits riding roller coasters. In my opinion, I like the vekoma design better because it just looks a certain way... I can't really explain it, but I like it better. However, I haven't ridden either of them so I've only based my opinion off of looks. -
Waffles... I eat them for breakfast every day I have them with syrup, yip hooray! I love my waffles with some milk I love my waffles more than silk. ^Yeah.

Who is riding Hades on 6-6-06?
Golfie replied to BarryH's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I would, but I have to do a news broadcast for my school I'll be there in spirit... -
I voted for SheiKra... when we went to BGA, we didn't get a chance to go to Kumba because the park was so crowded.

coaster_maniac wins! Invented by Claude Mabillard, the splash water element features a section of track that has two nozzles that overhang a wall that holds back water from the track. The nozzles splash through the water creating jets of water. ^ Yes, I wrote that Golfie Oh yeah, you get some candy. w00t.

PortAventura Discussion Thread
Golfie replied to Shockwave's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
They probably have it as "Sit down" because the car still travels on the top of the track.
