Troy Videos - Toverland's new GCI Woodie!
Golfie replied to hyyyper's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Did GCI ever make a CGI (heh.) video of Troy? I can't wait for a real POV! That thing is amazing, though. WAY better than the forest of trees it was made out of. -
Growing up using Windows had made it very difficult to switch to Mac OS. I do, however, prefer the sleek look and functionality of Vista.

Photo Trip Report: Richard Petty Driving Experience
Golfie replied to Cameron's topic in Random, Random, Random
It only took me 5 minutes in a stationary car at the Auto Show to realize that focusing on a stick shift would cause me to crash in a very lame way. -

Lame! What's a TR about nascar without any crasing? -
Although this might seem mean, trust me - we just got through training our third puppy and he definitely does not jump up on us anymore. When your pupster jumps up on you, put your leg out (don't be afraid to do it a little forcefully, just what he needs to be pushed off) and sternly say "Off!" Be extremely persistent when she does this. Also, if she bites, hold her mouth closed and say "No" very strictly. If you aren't a pushover, your pupster will listen! Did you ever try it? Our dogs never got confused when we said "no" in our conversations, and I'm sure other dogs wouldn't because of the tone that is used and that the "No" is being directed at them. Dogs are quite intelligent.

I hate people like that (the ones who reported the kid). Sometimes I think they do something not because they're scared, they just want to get him into trouble. Seriously, didn't they see a BRIGHT ORANGE DAY-GLOW TIP on the front of the barrel? One more thing, you're saying I could call the cops on my sister if she jumped out at me around a corner because it scared me and could've sent me into a heart attack?

I absolutely love it! -
How did you end up here???
Golfie replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I searched "Roller Coaster Video" or "Sheikra" or "Xcelerator" - one of those three! After a while, I decided to join the forums to watch more videos! -
I also enjoy waiting in line if it's moving in small bits - ex. waiting 45 minutes for Batman: The Ride last Thursday because it was running only one train was terrible - the line only moved after it completed one circuit! Also, if it takes a long time between moving, the theming a queue might have gets boring and you pretty much never want to see it again.

Gerstlauer Euro Fighter Model 420+ - Copyright © 2007 Andrew C. Type: Steel - Sit Down Make / Model: Gerstlauer Amusement Rides GmbH / Euro Fighter Designer: Adrenalyne Design Capacity: ~ Length: ~ Height: 125' Drop: 113' Inversions: ~ Speed: 56 mph Duration: ~ Trains: ~ trains with 1 car per train. Riders sit 4 abreast in each single row for a total of 8 riders per train. Colors: Track is painted green with ~ supports. Trains are painted ~. If you think you can help me on the roll (in picture 2) and reduce lateral forces, please send me a PM - I can send the file to you to see what you can do. This roll is really making me mad - it pulls -1.4 lateral G's. If you might be able to help, PLEASE send me a PM! This is the layout so far - chances are that it won't be much longer than this (otherwise support work will be hell!)

Did they have the same "Twinkie" skit as the one in Chicago? That was terrible with a full stomach at 11:00 at night. I felt like puking, but the rest of the show was amazing! I also saw you got to "decorate" yourself with tissue paper - did the audience get bombarded with more paper at the end of the show?
-
Okay... I kind of like doing re-creations! I've pretty much finished the trackwork (besides smoothing it even more and fixing some lateral forces), and my track is 2175.31' long - the actual Xcelerator is 2202' long (That has to be a little impressive since this is my first ever re-creation)! Andrew "I just can't wait to make the supports! " C.

RCT 2+3 Question
Golfie replied to CoasterNut17's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
^^Yeah I remember seeing that - all the parks have one thing in common. (The recreations are great, but they all look like crap in RCT3)
