Errrr, not really. Delaware is 1-3 hours from the Jersey shore, SFA, Great Adventure, Kings Dominion, Dorney, BGW and Hershey. You're actually in a really good spot if you're in Delaware I'd say. Yeah Delaware is fine. They tried building a park near New Castle about a decade ago called "Blue Diamond Park" and it failed miserably. They bought the Zyklon from Del Grossos (which is now in Daytona Beach) and that was their signature ride. They still have some rides sitting there if you know where to look. From south Delaware you're also basically in Ocean City so you have Trimper's and Jolly Roger's, a quick Cape May Lewes Ferry ride gets you near Wildwood and Rehoboth Beach has Funland which is an excellent little park on the boardwalk. Their Sea Dragon is the tallest and fastest amusement ride in Delaware. Woohoo Living in Delaware I'd love to have a park in the state BUT I'm close to many parks which are in a 2 hour driving distance. Funland is a great little park but I do think the beach area could have a big park and do well during the summer months. I'm ok with Eltoro being less then two hours away

Now I'm even more excited about going on June 11th! The Food and Wine Festival is a big plus for me since I love trying different foods. (Most likely going to get that pass for 35 dollars). I haven't been to the park since BBW's last year so excited for the few credits I need!

I agree about planning correctly, if you are going to Dollywood for the sole purpose of riding Lighting Rod...I'd wait. I'm dying to get back to the park since the last time I visited was 2010 but I'm waiting till the coaster is more reliable. The people who are complaining about a new ride (First of it's kind at that) not being open on time must not be huge coaster fans, because that happens a lot of time. I can't wait to get back there and will plan it when it's more reliable. Even so when I went in 2010, Mystery Mine Ride was closed both days I was there but luckily before we left it was open and we were able to ride it on the 3rd day. BTW ride looks AMAZING!!!

Almost had a "Wally World" experience! Booked a train between Copenhagen and Stockholm with a stop close to the Zoo on a Wednesday. Well come to find out (it was listed, I just must have looked over it) they are only open Friday-Sunday in September. BUT I'm not missing this one, so I'm heading there Saturday from Stockholm!

Great pictures and makes me happy I'm heading back to BGW June 11th! Haven't been since the last year of BBW, so need some new credits I hate to admit it but I also was "meh" about I305. It was by no means a bad coaster but I was like "oh that was nice, onto the next". I know on here is like a hidden rule to not mention that!

Wow, somehow I missed this one being built last year! Looks like a great coaster for a great park that we visited on Scandi 2014!

I really hope this isn't true as I love the fear on that coaster! Nothing beats it's first season though. I talked my daughter into riding it (Oh just get on it has no loops) but I still remember while she was screaming "DADDY DADDY DADDDDDDYY", I was thinking "Jesus Christ if I'm scared as hell, what is she thinking????"

While it sucks for the people who planned ahead to go to Dollywood, you STILL will have an amazing time there! If you are a true coaster/amusement park enthusiast then you'd know to wait if you live far away. How often does a prototype ride open on time? I plan on waiting till July-ish to make a trip to Dollywood and even I know there is a possibility it might be closed then.

Yeah I like Liberty Pub! There is outdoor seating so that's why I just thought it was a "bar". I wish it was like Canada where you could buy shots at a stand in the middle of the park!

Liberty Pub (Ice-cold beer & wine) is I think the first bar, That's where I've got beer before when I've gone for Gay Day. I think the Macho Nacho just serves mixed drinks or even just margarita's if I remember correctly?

What are you kidding?! Jackson is beautiful tourist destination. Right? I mean they have a Long John Silvers close by!

I rode two on the Scandi Tour (Insane at Gröna Lund & Kirnu at Linnanmäki) and they weren't to bad, but I was drinking a lot on the tour so who knows how they are sober

I just don't understand how people aren't excited about any new coaster being added, let alone one that's rare at this point. Only one has been built so far, just confused here

I'm going on Liberty Feb. 2017 and the waterslides look great! Just went on Allure and had an amazing time, so we booked onboard which is fairly cheap. The zip line on Allure was fun but very short, although where are you going to zip line on a ship in the middle of the ocean? Loved Central Park on the ship and the bar Trellis in that area! are you going with Arno's group?. . it's our first "themed" cruise, and we usually don't do this kind of stuff. . but the price (and OBC) was right, and we have TONS of friends going. if yes, can't wait to say "hello" in person! I'm not going with Arno's group but didn't know there was a Theme?? I'm going on the 19th of February so not sure if that's the same cruise but if so yeah say hello!!!

I don't think having a gripe about THE SLOW LOADING is unreasonable as it is absolutely inevitable with these headsets. If you don't think it will be you are delusional. And honestly, I don't really care. I am happy. I'm happy we are not getting it here. For now. I agree, people can barely follow the directions/rules for a ride as it is. Adding these headsets will definitely slow down the process.

I'm the last person to ever call someone out for making an offensive comment but wow. Also none of these comments were all that bad, many are opinion based. Not everyone has to like the same things you like. Your opinion is no more important than anyone else's. It's to far but kids today have no filter at all, they think posting something behind a computer is cool. Also his location, can you say desperate for attention?

I just went to their website and park map, seems it's gone now. The building is still on the park map but no ride is listed there. At least we got to ride it!
