  1. Actually... ...If you are only planning on going for one day, the VIP PASS is the best value. they are $79.00 and include: Unlimited FlashPasses (You just go into the Flash Pass line for each ride) Priorty seating for all shows A buffet at mooseburger lodge (for lunch, or Brunch with Bugs) You are only able to buy them in the park. Great value, the people who i have seen who have bought them have loved it.
  2. ^Which day will you be there?
  3. Here are some pics from the show. Merch. now has a small hut at the north gate, by Riddler's revenge. They sell spray bottles, batman dolls, capes, autograph books. The back of the Tumbler. The tumbler. The center Island The new back drop, though it is the same as last year
  4. Here are some abmassador Pics at SFMM Infoman: it acutally work very well with guests because they understood that he wasn't a real superhero, but a guy who wanted to be a superhero, who went home and made his own costume. Similar to Buddy or "IncredeBoy" in the Incredibles. one of the ninjas Mahsa the Unicycler A lucky family opening the park w/Bugs Bunny Opening ceremony Ambassadors at work
  5. Yes, SFMM has also stopped the Ambassador program memorial day weekend. From your pictures, it sure looks like your park was successful. MM had: Info Man: A "superhero" who was able to answer any question about Six Flags Magic Mountain The Six Flags Enthusiest A few unicyclers, jugglers A Cowboy A couple of Ninjas The Professor: an older gentlemen in a lab coat with an odd devise and scan people with a fun-o-meter. He looked kind of like Chirstopher Loyd. Mark, the Disneyland Mime. Nicodemo: A 20's gangster. Trivia Will: A guy who was stationed in the Tatsu queue line. He asked people trivia questions about Tatsu, Looney Tunes and the entire park. He handed out six flags braclets and SF tatoos. It was really popular with the guests, because it helped break up the 3 hour long line. The ninja's were the most popular in the park, most likely from the Tatsu opening.
  6. How long is the show?: Including Ducards "Preshow" it is 30 minutes in length. Did they turn down the volume?: Were you sitting at the top of the theater? It is much louder at the top of the theater than at the bottom. But to answer the question: No, it is still the same volume for show as it was last year. Did they fix the jump?: Half way through last season, they rebuilt the bridge so it no longer collapses. I would not consider it a "re-hash". Yes, it does have the helicopter, and similar archetecture, but it is a completely different storyline, characters, effects. If you are in the park, you shouldn't miss it.
  7. The Batman Begins Stunt Show at SFMM for it's second season on Sat. May 27th. They have a new Tumbler (Batmobile). They added a new stunt for Batman. He used to drop down upside down and pick up a bad guy, then swing around and drop into the orange sea box. Now before he does that, he travels on a zipline from behind house right, ending backstage, then doing the other two stunts like last year. It has been very well received by the audience.
  8. Unfortunatly, SFMM does not have a child swap program. Yes SFMM is safe. Safe for families, safe for kids. If your child was off by himself he would be okay, if you think he/she is mature enough. Enjoy your trip!...and TATSU!
  9. glad to hear you had a great time. What did you think of the opening ceremony in the morning?
  10. Robb, to answer your question on how long we have been doing the opening ceremony 45th anneversary celebration: We have been doing it for just over a month now. The pictures you have are of Allison and Travis. Allison does it all the time with me, but Travis filled in for me that day. Let me know when you guys are comming to the park next, we give away 30 free brunch w/bugs coupons per day. So if you guys are comming go to the lifeguard tower outside in the gates at 9:30 and just say you are from TPR. I'll ask you a few trivia q's that i'm sure you'll know, then i may be able to give you guys some passes. The morning show has been getting some great feedback. Between everyone being able to meet the characters even before you get into the park, and having the Host and Hostess telling the guests about park happenings, it seems to get people slightly into the celebration atmosphere. Bruch w/ bugs will be getting an actual show in about 2 weeks. Right now it is just a meet and greet w/ a buffet. But it will be similar to a show like Billy Hill and the Hillbillies at Disneyland. And on another note, the Batman Begins Stunt show will be reopening on memorial day weekend, rehersals for it start on May 1st.
  11. Now this is a COMPLETE! rumor, but I thought I would post it anyways because it may make for an interesting discussion. Of course there are many flaws with the rumor and seems untrue.
  12. As Jahan mentioned in the Tatsu thread, the SFMM Ent. Dept. has been adding new Ent. offerings every week. Starting at 9:30 in the morning,(30 min. before the park opens), there is now an opening celebration. A guy in orange, and a girl in pink go out into the courtyard outside the gate. One of them gets up on the lifeguard tower, and they essentially break-up the long 30 minute wait before the park opens. It is a really great thing for people who have never been to the park, or not been in a long time. They playfully discuss with the audience: show times, rides in the park, where to buy cameras, asprin, coffee, FastLanes, strollers; Mooseburger Lodge;and the new Brunch w/Bugs. They also involve the audience by asking who is celebrating birthdays, how far they came from, (we have had people from Germany, Hong Kong, Spain, etc.), what rides people like the best. And for those who go to the park all the time, they have trivia questions.
  13. We at SFMM have both white and black males portraying the green lantern.
  14. When i went on Goliath, during the "toilet bowl", I had an experience where my eyes were open, but everything turned black. Once out of the toilet bowl it took about five seconds for my vision to restore. I'm not sure if that is considered "blacking out", but that it what I experenced. that is the only ride in the park on which I have experinced this effect.
  15. I to always have anxiety when thinking about riding a new ride. Once I get on, I am fine as well. When I say: "no" to going on a ride, the more negative i get about the ride. Almost like thinking yourself sick. The more i say: "yes", the more confident i am about the ride.
  16. i think one of the names for one of the questions is electric rainbow?
  17. For the PlayPass center, I was looking for the TI exhibit. Jokster's Hideout is now housed next to the current processing center.
  18. For the Carousel if PTC means Philedelphia Tobagan company, then you are absoutely correct.
  19. sorry, yes most definatly just Flash.
  20. THat is gossimer, and no, he will not be seen in the park.
  21. okay here is a complete list: 20 characters total, 15 WB, and 5 justice league: Bugs Bunny Daffy Duck Marvin the Martain Sylvester the Cat Tweety Bird Yosemite Sam Porky Pig Petunia Pig Pepe le Pew speedy gonzales Foghorn Leghorn Wyle E. Cyote Lola Bunny and two more which I forgot. Justice League: Batman Robin Green Lantern Wonder Woman Flash Gordon
  22. Gotham= Correct Wally=correct Rapids+ incorrect Still Up: What used to be house in the current playpass processing center Who built the grand carousel? What did yosemite sam's flight school used to be called? _________________________________________________ Allen's Q's: Wow, those are technical questions, which i stink at...okay lets see... Only place to see the trolls: there is one character suit behind wizville, the purple castle over in bugs bunny world, (closed to the public). Olympic training: did there used to be a bobsled ride of some kind?
