Thanks for the great feedback! Within the last few months we have been able to show off our creativity, and this is just one example of what we can create. It was a BLAST! It will be an even greater accomplishment when we no longer need to hold a job fair, because we are fully staffed. That might only be a few years down the road. My name is William, and I am SIX FLAGS!

It is worth mentioning that the lollypop sign along I-5 has possibly completed its touch up. (pictures below) Also, MM is hosting a job fair at the East Picnic Pavilion at the front of the park Sat. Feb 16 and Sun. 17. I mention this not for anyone to necissarily come to interview for a job, but rather to see how great the job fair looks. Each department was responsible for decorating their own booths. Each booth is very creative, imaginative and interactive. I'll only give a way a couple of secrets to try to tempt some of you to come: There are many nostalgic items from days past, from rides that haven't been in operation in the past 2 months to the last 15 years...and the Batmobile (the tumbler), will be there. Hope some of you come on by. William Looks pretty darn cool at twilight. Hmm, those colors look familiar...Burger King Colors...no wait, Superman test colors. (Paint colors are SO political!)

LIKE NEW BATHROOMS! -
Yes, the coupon books are in. I have seen guests using them around the park. The film shoot this past weekend was for a few segments for the Six Flags TV system going into parks in the next few years. They have some great segments all over the park, as well as some fun character segments. Normal park guests were used in most of the filming, which was very well received. The exterior of Goldrusher's station was repainted, white and another color for accents.

Although I couldn't attend the whole event, it was cool listening to all the GREAT questions (and the answers too)! It was wonderful to see so many smiling faces leaving the theater. It was great to meet a few of you, and I hope you all had a great time! -

See you on Saturday! What better way to attend a TPR event than getting paid! -

I'll be working the event! I'm the House Manager at Magic Moments for the DVD viewing. My name is William, please say hi! -
Here are a few pictures from the front of the park for the holidays. Apparently the trees with the lights look nice at night. The lights may stay up year round. Enjoy. And finally the lights in the trees. Most of the trees in the plaza have these lights, and apparently look nice when they are all plugged in. ...and people actually buying the photos! Kodak pictures are available for sale at the gazebo. Santa and Mrs. Claus The decorations on the gazebo.

Maybe it is just the fact that when I see "PTR" is a thread title, and want to see how someone's day went at the park, and instead find a bunch of pictures of backstage areas, I get a bit disappointed. -

Just out of curiosity, where did you take that picture of the chucky doll? I'd like to point out that there is a difference between seeing back into open gate areas, and going in search for backstage areas. You had to go out of the way and through the FlashPass entrance for batman the rid in order to get the "whats under batman" and "across from batman shots". This is in no way the actions of a typical park guest. -

It will be gone by this tuesday. -
Couldn't agree more. And this shows that even though MM was doing something nice by handing out comp tickets, they didn't communicate to the staff that they were going to hand out comp tickets. However the automatic response is: If you visit guest relations, they will be able to assist you with your concern.
-
Any guests who went to Guest Relations on Sunday DID receive complementary tickets for a return visit if they asked for one. Since so many of the rides were closed, a large number of guests started waiting for the mazes to open around 4:00 Normally on a Sunday the guests don't line up for mazes until around 5:10.

I missed the hand print and suing. What was that all about, and where was there a red tub of waterbottles onstage with no employee? -

FF suplimental update #1: There may be some extra money to throw in Jokester's Hideout after all. Final descision may be this weekend. Corporate is requiring all parks w/ Fright Fest to have two entertainment offerings: Wheel of Fear: Guests will spin a wheel w/ 8 different edible animals on the wheel. The guest will eat what they land on, and win a prize. Coffin of Fear: A guest will lay in a plexi-glass coffin and some creatures will be poured in w/ them. If they last X-amount of time the will win a prize.

Small Fright Fest Update for 2007: On the "hold" music for the park, the voice says that Heckles and Twitch are the mascots of Fright Fest. This will be a smaller Fright Fest than in the past, with the only mazes being Willoughby's Mansion, Brutal Planet, and Deadman's Bog. There will be one walk-around area in Gotham City, and a show outside of the Gotham City Arch featuring Heckles and Twitch. Gone this year are the Kids Craft Area, fog around the park, The Asylum, Jokester's Hideout, Carnage E. Hall, and The Parade of the Living Dead.

The exact words from the Valencia site are: "This is a planned 121-acre business park incorporating recreational, office, retail, mixed-use, residential, and hospitality use." www.valencia.com/gateway/flashmap.asp?PropertyType=2 Furthermore, on Sky View Lane the road that leads to the Employee Entrance, there is a CB Richard Ellis sign up which says that office space in now available for sale.
