Correct, you would have to get on the air train and take that to NJ transit train and take that to Secaucus junction and then transfer to the Meadowlands train. It's at least 30-40 mins depending on which terminal you are coming from just to get to Secaucus and then another 10 min train from there to the Meadowlands. NJ transit runs it, from wherever you are coming from in NJ or NYC you have to get to Secaucus Junction and then transfer to the train that goes to the Meadowlands. So from NYC you would head to Penn Station and get on any NJ transit train heading to Secaucus junction and then transfer to the Meadowlands train. It's really easy actually just going to be a pain during rush hour when people are running to catch their NJ transit trains out of Penn Station to get back home. It's about a 20-25 min trip train wise and that's including making the connection. I'm just really not sure how many tourists are going to make the journey over for this. It's also $11 bucks round trip right now for stadium events which will add up quickly if you have a family of 4 or more. Plus to make it a little more complicated for tourists you can't use a Metrocard, you either buy a ticket at the NJ transit machines or download the app and purchase the mobile tickets on your phone.

I know it's been said a bunch of times before but I really wish they would put these rides at water parks. I absolutely love rapids and shoot the chutes water rides but there's nothing worse than walking around in wet shoes and socks all day. This ride looks absolutely amazing though but I just wish it was at Aquatica instead. When we went to Cedar Point and stayed at breakers a few weeks ago we went on snake river falls right after the water park and went on a few times because there was no line and got absolutely drenched and went back to the hotel right after to change into dry clothes and it was perfect. Would have gone on their rapids ride as well but it was closed for the fright stuff.

There are a lot more options here when it comes to entertainment so I would be really impressed if they hit that number. I'll definitely check out the water park and amusement park and might even get season passes depending on the prices but I'm still not really sure if this place will succeed or not.

A week at a Knoebels cottage!

Shame you guys didn't enjoy the back left seat on skyrush. Holding my hands up the entire time and letting that ride feel like it was going to throw me across the park is still one of my favorite coaster experiences ever lol -
For now I'm sticking with my $5 and change a month gold membership that we signed up for last year before they made all these changes. The main reason I switched to a membership was to avoid having to get to the park by a certain date to get a free upgrade. For me the benefits simply aren't worth all the extra money. We don't travel that much to other six flags parks and only go to great adventure when it's not crowded anyway. When ya look at the featured benefits it's just really hard to justify paying almost $150 more per pass each year when we don't mind walking further to park, don't care about their haunts and don't need 2 skip the line passes. A couple of things that I do like is the 50% off the season dining plan and the 50% off the all season flash pass which you could get the gold all season flash pass for like $100 but that would still have us spending like $320 each for the year and at that point I'd rather just spend that money on a trip to Florida.

Never walked through the Dinosaur stuff before at any of the parks and finally decided to do it since it was free for being platinum pass holders, really curious to see what they do with that space, I never realized how much space it actually takes up. -

It's pretty crowded today, lots of people doing fast lane, not bothering cause we have been here the past few days and don't plan on staying the whole day anyway. Steel Vengeance is at 2 hours so I'm glad we got on that a bunch already and once this morning. Probably ride Millennium Force most of the day now since that line moves quick. -
As a local to this area I'm really not sure how this is going to do. I really won't be surpised either way. I can see this struggling to do well in the summer when so many locals go down to the shore. Also this area is filled with a group of people that have wanted to see this knocked down years ago and the project has such a negative reputation for the massive amounts of money that it cost taxpayers already so I can easily see this going under if the tourists don't support it. I'm not so sure that many of them that are visiting NYC are going to hop on nj transit to Secaucus to then another train to this mall that is virtually in the middle of swamp land.

Steel Vengeance wasn't running right away, if it at all during early entry so we headed over to Millennium Force and got 4 rides in easily with getting to use the magic gate 2x. Great start to the day especially cause it seemed like most people were waiting for Steel Vengeance to start. Waited maybe 45 mins for Steel Vengeance though I'm sure it's much longer now. Saw a bunch of people get kicked out of the line for having their cell phone on them. One moron even took a photo of the workers name tag cause he was going to go complain about him, I wish I could say I was making it up but people's stupidity never ceases to amaze me. -
Really nice addition, that's the 3rd year in a row they have added something new to that part of the park, it's really come along nicely now since it was basically a complete dead zone. Curious to see if the former stunt theater is the next thing that gets replaced since it's basically right next to where this ride is going and isn't used nearly enough.

I timed it perfectly today, just had gotten off Rougarou and saw a small line forming, waited maybe 10 mins and they announced it was opening and we got on the second car they sent out, went right back around and got the back row after maybe a 15 min wait. Line was getting large after that so we hit up everything else towards the front of the park which were all walk ons since everyone else was heading to Millennium Force. They were running the blue and yellow trains. Had a fantastic start to the day too with early entry, got a back row and front row ride on Steel Vengeance in that first hour and headed over to Maverick for a 15 min wait. We are here for a few days so did the water park as well, we got so much stuff done and we didn't even rush at all. I've been all about buying Fast Lanes when I visit parks that aren't that close but it doesn't seem like it's needed yet and we aren't going crazy with marathoning anything. Steel Vengeance is absolutely awesome and I'm beyond thrilled to get on Millennium Force since it wasn't looking like it was going to happen this week. After all these years that ride still is absolutely so much god damn fun. I love everything about it.
