I'm gonna throw the positive vibes, thoughts and mojo out there for a new gen Vekoma. I have no evidence to believe this will happen other than I want one in the states. -

KI literally JUST opened a GIGA coaster this season and saw a ridiculously small fraction of the attendance expected due to COVID-19. You really expect another new coaster? Seriously? Even if the pandemic never happened and we had a fully normal season KI most likely would not open a new coaster after such a large investment in Orion. -

Between all my rides at CP and KI this season I have yet to adjust my mask once regardless of if it was a paper disposable mask or a cloth one. As long as it fits properly and you're wearing it correctly it's not a big deal. -

Nitrile gloves are provided before loading and hand sanitizer in the exit. Feel free to slap as much as ya like. -

^my dislike is purely on the flipping. Which is ya know, the point of the ride lol. I just do not find it enjoyable or comfortable. I may also have PTSD from Green Lantern that makes me physically unable to enjoy a free spin. I've been on 3 and just haven't enjoyed them. That said, I still think they're a great addition to any park. I can separate my personal feelings from a parks capital expenditure and admit when something is a great addition even if I personally would not enjoy it. -

Excited for KD to be getting a new coaster so soon after Twisted Timbers. Like I said in the Adventureland thread these style of rides aren't my jam. But they're inexpensive, easily marketable attractions for regional parks and it'll be a unique ride in that area of the country. Its a win for KD. -

^To be fair... I also dislike Magnum unless I am in row 2 and using the seatbelt trick. I have been very vocal in the past I wouldn't be upset at all if Magnum received updated trains or was removed and replaced altogether. My "top 3" at CP in no particular order would be MF, Maverick (post soft vest conversion) and Raptor. -

If the kids medical conditions are severe enough that they can NOT wear a mask when a private business is requiring them then maybe they should not be out during a pandemic... just saying. I really hope our judicial system starts to throw these cases out as quickly as they're being filed so we're not setting dangerous precedents. -

^I can get behind that. I am not a big fan of their trains. I did really enjoy Iron Rattler however with the Gerstlauer trains. -

While this may be an "unpopular" opinion in the enthusiast world, I actually agree with you. Honestly, I wouldn't even put it as a top 3 RMC that I have ridden if I were to actually sit down and think out rankings. -

I wouldn't mind seeing Wildcat get the Steel GCI track that was shown off last year or the year before at IAAPA. (2020 as been so long Idk what decade it is anymore). Be kinda cool for the first GCI to get the first GCI conversion. -

Just like us complaining about other people complaining, eh? Like when people complained about the complainers complaining about Orion. We should all let the complainers complain instead of constantly complaining about their complaints. Correct sir -

Yeah. Uh. Sorry about your luck, but we all had other plans this year.... At this point complaining how your summer plans aren't gonna work out is old and tired. We are all in the same boat and need to make the best of it for this year and maybe 2021. You're not the only person being limited to one reservation at a time and I for one am happy they are putting a limit on it. Be thankful that these parks are opening at all at this point. -

Got a reservation for July 5th. I'm passing through after a weekend camping trip, hoping to grab lunch and a ride on Orion before heading out to drive back to Cleveland. -

I mean an article posted in early June saying the ride would open "later next month" would be an accurate statement since the park is scheduled to open in July. lol Knowing CF and their project management, I am sure Orion has been ready to go for months. It would've opened on time in April. -

Exactly, low expectations, hope for pleasant surprises and flexibility are the name of the game I totally misread the vibe from your previous message then. I was preparing myself for the copious amounts of Karens lined up at Guest Services and commenting away on Facebook spewing ignorance and anger cause not every single ride, shop and food stand was open and operating at peak capacity. I do expect a very nice selection of food trucks again this summer. -

This is just a wild guess, but I would think you can only make one reservation at a time. Not click 5 days in a row and reserve 5 days at one time. Just my guess. Doesn't mean you can't take an afternoon and try to reserve you're whole summer tho. But I do hope that some people try to give people an opportunity to go. KI has a LOT of passholders, and I think if you try to grab a spot every day for the first 10 they're open is a little selfish. But good luck, I do not think getting reservations will be easy to get. I am expecting the site to crash a lot, a lot of people trying to go. and overall a lot of frustrations, especially for the first week or two the reservation system is live. Getting a reservation that first week or two may really by a Wonka's Golden Ticket considering the demand. Good Luck! I'm gonna try for July 5th. But only cause I happen to be passing through Cincinnati that day, 1 ride on Orion, some Skyline and out!
