This one is for all those math geeks (aka common knowlegde): I was waiting in line for Millennium Force last year at Cedar Point, and a guy in front of me wanted to know how long the wait was. So he walked up to the sign where it said how long the wait was and it read "1/4 hours." So the guy walks back and said to the guy he was with, "Man, I don't want to wait 25 minutes." And I never even heard the other guy correct him.

I think that Top Thrill Dragster is way better than Maverick. I've loved TTD ever since my first time on it. But after my first time on Maverick last year, I never became a big fan of it. I don' think it has many good "elements" and it's quite painful. I'm not one to be putting down a roller coaster, but Maverick isn't a good coaster. They went from building a great coaster in 2003 (TTD) to building some random, not fun coaster in 2007 (Maverick). While Maverick is many people's #1 coaster, it's on my bottom 10.

I might want to eventually work at Walt Disney World. Is it really worth it? I've heard some great stuff about people working there, but just how great is it? I know there are different kinds of jobs, but I just want to know generally how it is. But specific jobs would be great.

What are your views about Hannah Montana? In my opinion, I think that people over-react about her. I mean, $400 tickets? c'mon people! She's not even a real person. And about that 3-D movie that's coming out Feb. 1st...I think they are taking it a little too far. btw, did a search, couldn't find anything.

I don't care what anyone says about Six Flags making the park worse. Cedar Fair was planning on closing down the park from the moment they bought it. What did SF do, they added 5 coasters in two years. What did CF do, they got rid of the Sea World side, added a not-so-good water park, got rid of two good coasters, then eventually closed the place down. Now that to me seems like Cedar Fair did a WAY better job at managing the park than Six Flags did...not. All I'm saying is that Six Flags tried to make the park a better one. And that Cedar Fair only bought the park because it was competing with Cedar Point.

What do you think was the worst new addition for 2007 in any amusement park?

Which Pirates of the Caribbean movie is your favorite? My favorite is the second one. I don't know why. Just has a better plot I guess.

Millennium Force at Cedar Point is #1 for sure!!!

I loved Geauga Lake. It was my home park. Seeing it go is like seeing my house which I've lived in all my life being torn down. I had so many memories there. As for the Villian, despite what others say, I thought it was a great woodie. Sure it was rough some days but most of the time it ran great. And the Big Dipper better not get demolished. It's a classic woodie. Btw, does anyone know if Cedar Fair is selling anything from the park (like signs or whatever)? I looked on Ebay, but found nothing.

I just want to get some opinions about Maverick at Cedar Point. I'm a huge rollercoaster finatic. But when I rode Maverick, I was disappointed. I didn't like it very much. I think that it's too compact in the small area that's it's in. If they would of spread it out a little more (which I know they can't with the area), it wouldn't of been so rough. Now I'm not trying to make an arguement about how great or how not great Maverick is. I just want to get some of your opinions about what you think of the ride. Are you satisfied with Maverick? Do you think it was a good choice for Cedar Point?

Are they die-cast or metal trains?

Think about it; after Millennium Force they didn't put anything in for the 2001 season. After Top Thrill Dragster they didn't put anything in for the 2004 season. I'm guessing that's because of the money they put into them - $25 million each. Since Maverick was $21 million, I doubt this construction will be anything big.

I agree with many people on here...this is kinda a crappy thread. Just wait a couple months to see the progress of the construction, then guess.

I've only been to KI this year. Did they actually take out something at the end of the 2005 season...or since then? And if so, what?
