^ I mean, all that really does is replace it with a situation where someone arrives and gets denied to their ignorance (real or feigned) of the newly implemented reservation system. I do wonder how many entries they will limit it to each day. If it's going to be some substantial number, or if it's basically going to be like Cedar Point fast lane passes... yeah, they "limit" them, but they don't LIMIT them.

So this video only pulls a couple of quotes from the CEO about the changes to the experience when they reopening, such as face masks and limiting. The article below the video states that they plan to open in mid-May or as soon as possible thereafter, and links back to a tweet that's more than a month old at this point, and has the same language that they've used for all of their parks throughout the chain. I strongly doubt they're still holding firm on the plans to reopen mid-May, especially not with the recent announcements from the California governor about the gameplan to get the state back open. Sounds to me more like a case of overzealous reporting.

Man, I really didn't wanna climb back in here but... The population of the United States is 328 million people. 7% of that is 23 million, give or take. Not to put words in your mouth, but it sure sounds a lot like you're advocating for 23 million Americans to die a horrible death to an extremely contagious virus for which there is currently no cure, just so our nation can avoid an economic crash. Please correct me if my math is wrong on this. The economy can rebuild. It has in the past and will again. One day in the future, there will be a vaccine, there will be treatments available, businesses will reopen, and we'll all be out there riding coasters again. But you can't bring back the dead. You won't be able to bring back those millions of Americans that will perish to this virus. To me, it's a no brainer. It sounds as if your priorities lie elsewhere. I honestly wish nothing but the best of luck to you and your family.

It gives them all that time to put up no decorations and set up no haunts for Hersheypark in the Dark. -
What is your next park?

At this point, I really don't know. My spring break trip is likely out the window at this point. Maybe it's time to invest in a nice set of VR goggles. -
I can't help myself. I'm being bombarded by shit about the virus on a daily basis with 24/7 updates, my office has been implementing lockdown procedures for us to avoid infection and have most of us work from home, and with a massive trip planned to the West Coast about one month from now, I'm starting to panic a little bit (even though I know I shouldn't be and life will almost certainly go on). I really don't want to have to cancel the plans, and my general idea is that unless the LA and Bay Area parks announce that they are closing, I'm going to go on this trip with my son. In the meantime, I'm coping the only way I know how... ...I made a Spotify playlist all about it. "Coronavirus Playlist for the End of the World". Feel free to listen and panic along with me. LOL.

Surprised to see that, from looking at the website, all the slides they've got over there supposedly will have a 42" height requirement. Even the drop slides. My daughter is SO excited about this, you have no idea. She's been feeling left out because her taller brother gets to do all of them and she can only watch. She's already demanding we make a stop there this summer.
