Vortex, at Canada's Wonderland, about a month ago. Have you ever seen a girl topless on a coaster? (I've done it!) -

If anyone has a picture of a Haunt pin, or any new Haunt merchandise let me know, as Canada's Wonderland no longer sells any Haunt merchandise. If anyone has any pictures of Peanuts/Snoopy/Kings Dominion pins, please let me know too, please. -

Yeah, Wonderland had them too, actually that was the ONLY Haunt merchandise they had this year, not even any 5 year old stuff, like they usually have. How about you guys? Did you see any NEW haunt merchandise this year? Any pins? -

Peabody, I guarantee that 99% of the people that go to Wonderland's Haunt, don't know that some other Cedar Fair Haunts are free. Season Pass holders now get a reduced price for Haunt, but on Fridays, that reduced price this year, compared to the non-season pass online price was only $1.00. A free admission (or even 1/2 price) for SP holders would be way more fair, however, I know Wonderland makes huge money from Haunt so I really don't see that happening any time soon, even if people complained. One more question, say at KI, KD and CP, do alot of young kids stay for Haunt or do you think most parents know it is not for 13 and under? -

Hang on, I'm not saying other parks should add an upcharge for Haunt. I'm just asking, does it seem fair that some parks upcharge for Haunt and some don't? Wonderland makes huge profits for food and beverage at Haunt, but no Haunt merchandise this year. I have never had a problem with paying for Wonderland's Haunt, I think it is one of the best Cedar Fair Haunt's in the chain. I just don't know if it is fair, that's all. Wonderland does have a Haunt Season Pass, where you can pay one price to go to every night of Haunt, but you folks at KD, KI, Knott's wouldn't need that. Is that fair? My brother also thinks it is not fair that Knott's Haunt guests can see Elvira for free when he is willing to pay to see her. Actually, my brother met Elvira a few years back in Toronto. -

A message from PATTYCAKES brother: Yeah, Canada's Wonderland Haunt, up to this year, is amazing. That is not my issue. Fearfest attendance at Wonderland was so low, I actually thought they would have stopped it, if Cedar Fair hadn't bought the park in 2006. My point is this, last year, the attendance at Wonderland's Haunt was just insane! I don't know the actually number, but on the last Saturday, I estimate the number to be around 40,000-50,000 easily. Wonderland makes huge amounts of money on Haunt, however, is it fair that some parks charge for Haunt and some don't? By the way, even though I have never been, I would still pay to go to Knott's Scary Farm as I think that is the best and biggest Haunt in the chain. -

Wait! Cedar Point, Kings Island, Kings Dominion, Haunts are all INCLUDED with day passes and regular season passes? How long has this been? Always? If so, then why have Canada's Wonderland season pass holders, as well as the general public, been paying for our Haunt? I know Wonderland considers it a 'special event', but I, and my brother have been paying for Haunt since Cedar Fair bought Wonderland back in 2006 and even before that as well when it was Fearfest. Hmmmmm, I wonder how many Canadian Cedar Fair season pass holders know about this. This doesn't seem 'fair'. (get it?) Your 'free' Haunts even have more monsters and mazes than we do. Something doesn't seem right. We even had our Haunt cut back this year, less monsters, no scarezones, no Haunt merchandise, and yet, season pass holders still paid around $32.99. Yep, something is not right. Oh, by the way, HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE! -

Okay wait, are you telling me that Haunt at Kings Dominion is FREE if you have a season pass? Yes, Peabody, Haunt at Canada's Wonderland starts at 7PM for the public or you can buy the VIP Mortal Meal Deal for $13.55, get in at 5:30 and get into 2 early mazes at 6:30, before the public. Our Saturday Haunt costs $38.99 online and more for walk-ups. Is it only Kings Dominion that has a FREE Haunt or does any other Cedar Fair park include Haunt with a season pass? Cedar Point is over one hundred dollars? -

You're all lucky, Wonderland had no scarezones this year, 200 less monsters than last year and no clowns. However, Spirit Manor is now my favourite maze. The scenery was just incredible. You guys also pay wayyyyy more for your Haunt than at Wonderland. Our meal was only $13.55 this year with Friday Haunts only $32.99 with SP. Our mazes have very simple facades. Our Haunt was cut back a bit this year, I don't really know why. -

My favourite (yep, I'm Canadian) outdoor activity is going to our 'clothing optional' beaches. If you've never been naked outside in public before, you have to try it. I'm lucky enough to have been to both of our 'public' Canadian nude beaches. It's like walking in Eden itself. You might get a little nervous while you are stripping down, but once you are naked with everyone else, you really don't care who looks at you and that is the best part, you feel like you could just walk down any street with my big boobies and nobody would even care, like a small kid. That's the way life should be, absolutely free of everything! Absolute paradise! Go do it today! I am. -
I guess Lake Monster is out of the question now. I just wonder how close they were to actually modifying Predator, or was it just speculation, including the name, what do you think? Also, does any one know the answer to this? Did Haunted Catacombs move? I thought it was 'just down the road' from Darien Lake, and now it seems closer to Walden Galleria which is not really close to DL. I want to go to Haunted Catacombs but I need to know if I am going to have to do some extra driving. I'm leaving from Toronto.

Congratulations on 950 posts, nut. Yeah, an apology, or even acknowledgement that it was cancelled, or was never even planned, would have been nice. Unfortunately, Wonderland seems to have gotten into promoting ideas before they are actually confirmed, example, the food trucks, describing a dark ride before it was even designed, and even announcing 'a very large project' that now may never happen. I really hope they stop doing that. It creates a lot of dissapointment. -

Skeleton Crew was alright, the first time I saw it, 5 years ago, but it's time to change it. Even the CNE had a trampoline scene in this year's ice show doing exactly the same moves that I have now memorized from Skeleton Crew and the daytime 'pirate' show. In and out, in and out, and repeat. Again, been there, done that. As for Toxicity, that too must go. I have seen it every year for the past 5 years and I will not be seeing it this year. The 1/2 hour sleep I get is nice but such a waste of time. It has nothing to do with Halloween and is just a different name when Haunt is on versus the regular day show. People complained that the ice show stayed too long, it's really time for a change. How about, say, a show with something to do with a Halloween theme, say, like they use to have before they went with the magic/acrobatics idea. -

Seems like I was right. Same old, same old. I'm going with my big brother on October 16th to avoid the crowds like last year. Interesting no one mentioned the horrible Toxicity. That, and Skeleton Crew, MUST GO next year! They should have been axed years ago, just horrible, Toxicity has nothing to do with Halloween and I truly have memorized the entire Skeleton Crew show, because it has been the exact same for 5 years now. -

PCW, it doesn't matter if you make it 13 weeks. Nobody goes until the last 2 weeks. Not worth it to extend it. -
That's right, Tackle. So why do some people think that would be such a bad thing to happen now? Let's try something . . . read these and see how it feels . . . Darien Lake Fun Country Theme Park Resort a Cedar Fair Entertainment Company or Six Flags Darien Lake Theme Park Resort or Fun Spot at Darien Lake Theme Park Resort or Darien Lake an HFE property Any of these for 2016, imo, would be great for Darien Lake, (some better than others). Now rank them, in order, in your opinion, from best for Darien Lake as 1 and worst for Darien Lake as 4.
