It's only appropriate that a Jedi master post this info. I went from wait and see to seriously thinking of a June visit. But if (probably) the better ride won't be ready yet, I'll go back to wait and see.

To be fair, the quoted Ride & Refresh package seems to include park tickets and drink wristbands for 3 people for 2 days. The key here is definitely the time of year. Having stayed in May 2017 (about $150 per night with tax) and staying again the night of Memorial Day this year (about $195 with tax and pass discount), the price jump from other hotels becomes more reasonable. Of course, visiting in May has its tradeoffs.

Damn. I didn't even think to check and it looks like GhostRider will be closed when we visit in a couple of weeks. Oh well.

I just want to say I appreciate the transparency. I definitely started noticing the ads and I have no problem with them.

We have platinum passes and we live nowhere near CW. Too bad we missed the sale, though I don't know that I'd want to buy fast lane this far out. Not even sure when we are visiting yet. Hopefully we won't need it?

So... not sure how comparable this is, but when we did a day trip to Gyeongju, I spent a little too much time taking photos at Anapji. So to make sure we caught our train, we took a taxi from there to Singyeongju and we negotiated 10,000 KRW with the driver. Then again, the meter still only showed maybe 11-12,000, so I just gave him full fare. Anyway, great photos! Thanks for the TR.

Wow. So generally speaking, when is a good time of year for a first timer to visit? We'll probably get FL+ regardless, but I just want to get a good idea for planning our trip next year.

I don't know about you, but I sure ended up praying to the porcelain god for a while. I didn't want to get graphic, but for me, I did my business as usual the next morning and stood up to find the water had turned blue. Otherwise I felt totally fine. On another note, Speed — The Ride is still the best coaster we've ever had here. A group of us made sure to get our last rides right before it closed.
