  1. 3/10. I have a love/hate relationship with this company. I hate the RMC treatment where they turn a classic woodie into and even more thrilling ride. But now the coaster isn't for everyone and you can't ride it with your family anymore. With The Joker coming to DK, the only coaster that won't invert would be the kiddie coaster. However, I do like it when it's just built completely on its own and a woodie doesn't get taken down for it. Large dogs.
  2. I really want that ride to re open soon... August 12, 2015 (Southend Day Trip) Queueing for Sky Drop at Adventure Island Woman in her 30ss (also in the queue): "It just goes up and down? That's all it does?!" What else would a drop tower do??? It doesn't spin around or anything. Also, you can clearly see what it does even outside of the queue! [sarcasm]It goes 360 degrees, spins around, smashes into Rage and throws you onto the Pier![/sarcasm]
  3. Found a bit of iron: I aked this question: Would you rather ride an XXL RIGHT NOW or not? SEVEN. So, this person went on an XXL when she was SEVEN?! That is just... I can't even. And why would the ride ops allow a seven year old on that thing?! Question Link (you don't need to register to add a comment): http://www.rrrrather.com/view/140947
  4. 6.5/10. agar.io (it's a website, type it in to the URL bar)
  5. The only B & M I've really ridden was the Oz-Iris at Parc Asterix (well, that's the only B & M coaster I actually remember riding. I did 'No preference' because I haven't tried a coaster with the new ones yet.
  6. You can always do the Halloween stuff at other theme parks like Alton Towers as well, it doesn't have to be at Thorpe Park. That way you can go to a park this year and next year!
  7. Then there would be less people at the park. What if you had your photo taken on flat rides?
  8. Pros of going in 2016 -Warmer weather -More rides should be open -New dark ride! -Other new additions Cons: -Long queues (but you can always get Fast Track) -Random school trips filling up the park -Crowded Pros of going this year -Shorter queues -Park isn't as crowded -Operations might be faster as not that many people would be there -Less chance of school trips cramming the park Cons: -Colder weather -Some rides would be closed -More rain -New dark ride isn't open
  9. I am extremely sorry for the inactivity. I have an ear infection and there's constant pain. I can't sleep very well and I just stay in bed half the day. When the ear infection gos away, I will go back to uploading once every other day. OT: I was driving down again to see Thrill World. From my view, it looked like nothing really happened... I visited in the middle of the night to see the lighting. I see a light in that hole! I went closer and I saw a neat surprise! What's that in the background? Also, the building looks complete! I saw the construction of a coaster hiding behind the dome! Also, the dome looked like it was complete! GlowstonePvP... I have a few questions... I had a few questions to myself about that clearly visible Glowstone... I hated how it just stuck from the building like that!!! Grrr!! I want to join the Thrill World building team and tell them to make the lighting look better! Adult drinks...? I saw a couple of shops for food and I saw the small alcohol section. I wanted to have a bit but there wasn't any in stock. How sad. CAPITAL LETTERS I went to another shop and saw the actual food area. I had a few doubts about this park now... First, the ugly Glowstone, no seating and EVERYTHING is in capital letters? he he see what i did there everything is in capital letters lolololol Wristbands... The have a wristband system! Yes!!! I love parks with a wristband system, life is hard with tokens. You have to put them in zipping pockets or in safe places of your bag. It's so easy to lose tokens. Directions already?! This park is moving along so fast! I saw that they're moving along pretty fast with where everything's going to go... What could these mean?! I saw these signs in front of the coaster in construction, which will be named Devil Run or something. The roller coaster! This looks like some sort of family coaster but I saw in a book that the ride would be intense... I don't know what this thing would look like when it's finished... I wandered around the internet for this park and someone's flying camera took a picture of the park from above. I then saw a picture of the park from above while looking at information on the internet about this park. It looks pretty nice! So far, I have a bit of a mixed feeling about this park. What if it barely lasts two or three years and then is shut down? I have no idea. I guess we'll just have to wait..
  10. Lightwater Valley.
  11. When half of the guests at a park are actually smart when it comes to coasters and rides...
  12. Bloons Monkey City (a mix between tower defence and city builder): Level 40 (maximum level). Tiles captured: 1035/2991 Started: 220 days ago Supply Crates (give you a boost of cash): 0 Bank Capacity: 211500 Battles lost: 508 Buildings: 548 Bloons (the enemies) popped: 2,147,881,047 Spies (visit a friend and find them) popped: 165 Bloonstones (the premium currency): 91 I've actually sort of quit the game because an update hasn't come out since around the 25th of June. When the update comes out, I might consider playing it again.
  13. When you post more and more stuff, it changes. So if you had like 50 posts it would change to something different.
  14. A couple of gems from my brother: On Rage at Adventure Island: "Don't put your hands up, you'll die!" Ten minutes before, me and him saw a train race across the track and one guy had his hands up all the way through. Standing near a Rotor ride: Him: "I know what this ride does." Me: "How do you know?" Him: "My friends got on one when I was about five. I didn't go on it because I thought the barrel filled up with water and drowned you, but now I know that it just spins you." Me: "..." We then went on the ride and it was one of the weirdest things I have ever ridden.
  15. Either Alton Towers or Brighton Pier.
  16. ^ Maybe it holds you in more and it's rubber. I guess the rubber just makes it more comfortable. Also, I think the restraints would just look bad without that rubber bit. Why are the new restraints necessary for those 400ft drop towers? Normal OTSR's are fine, why can't they just stick with those?
  17. I was queuing for Colossus at Thorpe Park one day and these teenagers (around 17-21) were standing right behind me, putting leaves to their mouthes and making a squeaky noise for ten minutes... GRRR. -People who constantly brag about how they went on the coaster/ride with the fastest, tallest and most inversions and they just don't shut up about it. -People who exaggerate fake ride accidents (OMG dis costar fall of trak wen abov teh laik n 3128 ppl dronwed!!!!) -People who think they're going to die on the ride (Why did you queue for it in the first place?) -Top Spin ride with a full queue, everyone goes on it and they don't all move to the end so you have to squish past them -When an entire train/ride's restraints have to unlock because one or two people did something wrong -People who walk down the park on their iPhones and Samsung Galaxy SIII... not paying any attention of what's happening and bumping into everything -Exaggerating stats (OMG dis goaes leik 329 mph and gends 8129281 fete n teh ari! iti duz leik 2912 upseid donwines aswlee!) -Some people who think the ride is made by Satan when the ride stalls on the lift hill -Downright INSANE reactions when a flat ride starts moving Personally, I don't think slow operations are a bad thing. When you're in that seat and waiting ten minutes for the ride to actually start, it adds to the tension and I somehow get a really nice feeling with those seats...
  18. SAW. Get to the front of the line instantly on any ride or infinite free theme park food/drink?
  19. SpinDizzy, Diggerland
  20. Then everything in this forum would be about donkeys. What if the minimum age to join was 6 and not 13?
