  1. Ah, the Boardwalk staff. Pandemonium doesn't seem to be very popular because of its location, but I don't feel like a second Premier launch coaster is a good fit for our park, plus Six Flags already invested in a new coaster this year. I'd expect 2017 to be our next coaster year based off of the past: 2012 StarFlyer 2013 Coaster 2014 Slide Complex 2015 Coaster 2016 ? However, I wouldn't be too disappointed with a YOLO clone, I just seriously doubt they'd add it next year and replace Pandemonium. If anything, Power Surge should be replaced since even on busy days it's always a walk-on. I doubt the employees know what next year's addition is yet, though.
  2. To everyone saying KD needs more amazing Intamins: we all wish our home parks had Intamins (mine has none lol, I've only been on one Intamin coaster and it was a bobsled, although I've been on an Intamin chute-the-chutes)
  3. Ok, yes, I was exaggerating a but for fun. Its just a line I like. And, no, there probably wont be another coaster like i305 (or Skyrush) for a while. For those loving AP: AP was trimmed to death. It is my least favorite of the B&M hypers I have been on. It has so much potential, but they have ruined it. Second hill, almost to the top, coming in with great speed, and *BAM* , a trim nearly as dramatic as i305's. (This was the part of the ride I looked most forward to; that dive into the turnaround, nearly missing Brewery Lake. The return had some fair ejector time, but it was just *meh* compared to Nitro. That Stengel like dive under the lift was also pretty trimmed, and instead of a snap through it, it floated pretty blandly past. And that "surprise" finale drop wasn't nearly as epic as it is made out to be. Above the average airtime for this coaster, but nothing to rave upon. Such wasted potential. I haven't been on Intimidator 232 to judge that one. But a hyper like Nitro would be the best at KD. I disagree, I think a ride like El Toro would be the best fit for KD. Or an Intamin Hyper KD doesn't need more intense rides. They already have the most intense coaster pretty much ever along with a very large and solid lineup outside of it. I do agree that a B&M hyper would round out the park's lineup nicely, though.
  4. Or RMC could just add a *really* long top gun stall.
  5. He should go driving down the street singing "we are on a log flume, we are on a log flume"
  6. Source: http://i.imgur.com/HcPeaBi.png Source: (there are some other ones here too lol, continued ) Read all of Philip white's conversation here: And, to go with that, here's something else: (on the same POV) (reasons to stick to TPR POVs, except the first two)
  7. SFMM has the most roller coasters, but iirc Cedar Point has more total rides due to its flat collection (correct me if I'm wrong).
  8. NTaG and IRat want to have a word with you Although Texas isn't California, but same idea tbh
  9. Nobody should get their hopes up too high, but you never know.
  10. Here's some pictures of the area behind the Boardwalk (pictures taken from the ferris wheel) Let the speculating begin!!! (although it could just be landscaping changes or parking lot expansions)
  11. http://pixelcaster.com/live/cedarpoint/index2.html This one shows it better rn
  12. Hang on, is Mantis on the wall? If it is, they may not put Rougarou there at all (although they probably will either way, but it's a possibility).
  13. Pretty much. RMC listed where their 2016 projects were and by process of elimination it pretty much had to be Roar.
  14. They should have more rides in the Mexico area because it feels useless to have if they just combine it with Spain. (when I went, all I did with the map was see how to get to NTaG from the entrance, lol)
  15. I pretty much haven't been out of Texas, coaster-wise. Next summer is the prime time for me to hit parks as it's the only time right now where I have a secured budget. I may end up doing both Hershey and Knoebels, but the advice on saving the northeast is nice (what about El Toro?) but I may not get to do another trip like this for quite a while. I could probably budget for another one two summers out, but it could be tight. Additionally, hitting too many non SF/CF parks adds up and can end up being hard to budget for.
  16. ^ You do realize that there's only one ride in the Mexico section, right? Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure El Sombrero is the only ride in the Mexico section.
  17. I've only been once, but when I went NTaG had one of the shorter waits (around 10 minutes on Monday and 25 on Saturday). Then again, that was also after a rainstorm, so the park wasn't exactly busy. The longest lines were La Vibora and Batman. Titan and NTaG were around 15-25 minutes on Saturday, but it had been raining, so who knows. I'd consider a FP worth it, just because of the park's rain policies (closed for an hour if there's a light drizzle or if there's a thunderstorm 30 miles away moving in the opposite direction). NTaG and Judge Roy were my personal favorites, but Shockwave and Titan are definitely worth riding at least once each (both of Titan's helices and Shockwave's loops caused me to get tunnel vision, but it was on hot days and I was probably dehydrated, so I'd recommend doing whatever's necessary to stay hydrated). Most importantly, don't be afraid to skip credits to get more rides on NTaG Oh, and have fun.
  18. Yeah, and I mainly clicked here to see who was calling I305 an observation tower
  19. Is SFFT just different from other Six Flags parks? We've gotten very major additions every year since 2013. Anyway, I think KD does need some improvement on the kiddie areas just based off of what they have already.
