  1. It was moved to SFFT in 2007, at any rate. Either way it has a very distinctive rattle to it. The rattliness may have also come from being moved twice, as it also spent some time in some Japanese park.
  2. Goliath (the Batman clone) at SFFT is not smooth, it's very rattly. Sitting in oceanwater SBNO for years isn't good for a coaster. However, I agree that it's still smoother than most coasters out there.
  3. I'm pondering if that would kill you or not Probably. But it'd totally be worth it
  4. I'd like to say that JLBFM is one of the most immersive rides ever. I gave it a shot when I went last Thursday/Friday and I didn't mind waiting in line since the whole queue is so well themed once you get inside.
  5. ^ Colossus is a Schwarzkopf, pretty sure it's just underridden, not underrated. As for Titan, I found it to be very underwhelming for its size.
  6. Nope. You can go through the exit and ask to take any empty seats though, that usually works.
  7. I don't think the brain process that goes on during a roller coaster applies to animals, so I doubt it'd be a good idea if it was even legal.
  8. Yeah.... no. As somebody who has greyed out on the majority of my rides on MF, "Millennium Forceless" is one of the dumbest nicknames for a coaster that I have ever heard of. In no way is MF "forceless", at all. Wikipedia claims that it pulls 4.5 Gs, which I would guess is a low estimate. The Batman clones supposedly pull 4.9 and Boomerangs supposedly pull 5.2 (that sounds like BS to me, though), I never grey out on those. I would assume MF actually pulls up to 5 Gs at the very least. Yeah, very good point. ... But what about the airtime? Airtime =/= Force Airtime is force, it's negative g-force or zero g-force (ejector and floater) I know, I was saying that a ride with little airtime can still be very forceful You should have made that clear then

  10. You should have been most excited for TC
  11. I wanted to do a separate northeast trip but this is probably going to be the only big trip I can do for a while, so I'm trying to hit all my bucket list parks east of where I am (we're having a family reunion later in the summer and can hit the NoCal parks (and SoCal SF/CF if I can make time)). Basically, I have to do as much as I can fit into two weeks or so. The time isn't exactly figured out yet, and neither is the exact budget, but we know that two weeks is probably a maximum. The schedule is flexible but my dad insists on doing CP and SFGAdv (darn jeep doesn't care about Knoebels!)
  12. why do y'all have to make me so jealous lol I'd seriously be willing to do almost anything to ride Fury right now. It looks amazing. More so than any other coaster I've seen.
  13. Trust me, Goliath is actually pretty boring. The drop isn't that steep, and basically the whole ride is positive g-forces. It's worth a ride but still not really the most interesting thing (I haven't been on it but Titan is basically the same thing) As for X2, I've only been on Batman @ SFFT but yeah 4D coasters are sorta messed up (in a good way!)
  14. I had to wait 2.5 hours for it one day, in that time it broke down 4-5 times.
  15. oh yeah JLBFM's lines are deadly use the SRL
  16. Sounds good, and since it's no extra fee I may as well hit SFStL. Maybe also do Dorney on Knoebels day? I'm considering cutting KD because besides I305 there's nothing there that interests me all that much, but I'd probably replace it with another day at CP or SFGAdv.
  17. Saturdays are busy, Mondays aren't. I've done a Sat/Mon SFOT trip but it rained a ton. Not too sure about Saturday if it doesn't rain. Get there early Monday and get as many rides on NTaG as you can before a line shows up (sit near the second to back row, less people go there). From my experience Titan is a walkon all the time on weekdays, but weekend lines get a little long. Shockwave and Judge Roy are always walkons or single digit train waits, hit them whenever. Mr. Freeze is a one-train wait most of the time. Lines get long for NTaG, La Vibora (which takes an hour after the park opens to open due to testing and whatever else), Texas SkyScreamer, S:TOP, Pandemonium and probably some other stuff I'm forgetting.
  18. IRat usually has a ~20 minute line, Batman is unpredictable and could be up to an hour and a half (or more with breakdowns), and Superman is a walk-on to 15 minutes as long you aren't going on a weekend/BAFF day. Fridays are a little unpredictable and can either be a huge hit or a huge miss. These times are average from everytime I've been (20+ this season)
  19. Since SFFT is my homepark I already get my money's worth out of SF.
  20. They could rename Intimidator to Diamondback and add a splashdown. Just an idea.
  21. This is a hot spring waterpark place in Idaho. I've been there a few times while visiting family there, and the few waterslides they have are very fun. Anyone else been there or heard of this place? MOD EDIT: Please do not create a discussion thread, only moderators will do that, if necessary.
  22. I went this past Thurday/Friday and everything we went on except NTaG, La Vibora, and Texas SkyScreamer was consistently a walk-on or station wait. I finally rode Mr. Freeze and it was definitely a favorite. It overtook Judge Roy Scream as my 2nd favorite coaster at SFOT and 4th favorite overall. I also tried my first drop tower, Superman: Tower of Power (aka S:TOP IT). Fun even with the eerily loose OTSR. Can't wait to try the shorter one at SFFT. What I noticed: -Shock Wave is better in the back. Last time I rode it it was in the front and it felt slow and boring, but in the back it feels insane and I wasn't in my seat once after the loops were over. The smoothness is also more noticeable in the back. -NTaG is amazing as always. -Judge Roy is best in the front row. Great pops of airtime compared to the back. -Mr. Freeze has got to be the most messed up roller coaster of all time. Hangtime everywhere. -Runaway Mine Train is the roughest, jerkiest, and lateraliest coaster I've been on. It's just so classic and fun even though it shows its age. -Titan's on-ride photo should be moved away from the second helix so I'm not in a helix of death brace position in all of my photos -Titan is still the smoothest coaster I've been on. -First ride of the day on NTaG (Thursday) and Mr. Freeze (Friday) is worth getting up early for. Even if NTaG wasn't fully warmed up yet (ran very sluggish), it made it a unique experience. We also got a triple ride on it after it broke down midday Thurday, and got a quadruple ride on Judge Roy late Thurday night too
