Actually, you could. They still outsourced a lot (such as the trains, an esp. common practice). -

I found Shockwave to be SIGNIFICANTLY smoother than the B&M counterpart. The only exception is Georgia Scorcher. Shockwave had no headbanging; rather, your hips would hurt after each ejector hill. -
Check bing again. Notice that it continues rising after the specific spot I pointed out. Look directly under the second lift - it is the highest point on the ride (this would be were the interlocking corkscrews are; though granted that element is pretty high). My estimation is that it is another 40-50 feet more elevation that the Ninja. Don't see it? Looking East on bird's eye, look at the RKMT's tunnel entrance. Now look right across the service road to the helix and follow the drop up to the second hill. Note how the drop supports remain constant, yet obviously it drops. I wish we had topography maps though so this wouldnt be guesswork.

^And you would trade RKMT for this? An origaml still good for the families? It's bad enough that we lost one side for the god forsaken Ninja. Unless you can miraculously place the ride over... (it would have to be a perfect fit for this to happen). Btw, the RKMT has a higher elevation immediately by the Ninja. And as you head towards the train it only raises (gently this time, but nit evenly). And your orientation puts a significant part of the ride on that land (everything but the first two inversions, the transfer, and the station. So that would mean those parts of the ride would have to have ~up to 10 ft high footers to place the ride correctly. IMHO I couldn't see SFSLT grading out that much land + trees to make a plane WHEN Credit This area is already flat (to be fair it slopes downhill a bit south but not majorly). It would only require moving the train tracks and cutting back on the storage there. A trench and retaining wall could be built for the cobra roll as it sits highest. Source. (go to bird's eye and look East and North

What about Gate Keeper? What if this whole time its just a modification for Pipe Scream that makes it floorless. Then floorless Millenium Force. Then floorless Maverick. Everything will be floorless! Honestly, I'd be kind of okay with floorless MF. -

^Yes, but they aren't looked upon in that way. -
If the park really wanted dueling, they would have dueling. They wouldn't just settle for a single track just because it's RMC. What I mean is that maybe they wanted one whole, varied rides instead of two similar short rides creating a longer one (that is if RMC even proposed a TC inspired layout). And there is NO denying that both sides on TC are almost the same, save for the last turnarounds.

Has anyone confirmed this? I know Carowinds is, but I posted a question yesterday asking if KD is. No one has replied. 40%, not 65%. Confirmed by me, today. Additionally, the Country Kitchen restaurant adjacent to Shockwave has closed. I spottee more markers behind the closed restaurant and along the very edge of the antique cars. Pictures coming later. My bad: I misread that Carowinds has THEIRS 65% off. Anyway, if someone is stopping by the park anytime soon and can take some pictures of the shirts and prices, that'd be great. (I totally forgot about the discount when I was at the park, so I didn't even bother looking in the gift shop) -

^^^I could have easily finished all of the rides the Friday night in 2014. I purposely saved Zum, Nitro, Superman, and Skyscreamer (ended up not doing the two latter) + the kiddie coasters for the next day. And this was during FRIGHT FEST (Fridays open at 5:30 PM and run till 12 AM). And since we were quick, I got five consecutive rides at opening on El Toro before having to give up my magic seat - and die to slow ops, it took 30 mins. We ended up leaving early at 10:30 due to migranes and hunger. Funny story... We left the park and most restruants were closed by then (even the McDonald's at Hamilton Marketplace!), we ended up ordering Dominos to be delivered to our hotel room - and D*MNIT IT NEVER CAME! They were still open for the next hour at the time of calling if I remember correctly. The next morning, we saw some untouched Dominos Pizza boxes outside another room's door - but they weren't the size we ordered, so they weren't ours. Ironic how we went hungery but they did deliver a different order that night and nobody touched those boxes...

2. Yes, I agree. 3. That makes me wonder why they didn't just go for the dueling aspect. Wasn't the Texas Giant conversion 10 million? And that was a large prototype... So for a little more total cost they may have been able to use both sides? Or it could be price and demand, when NTAG/Outlawrun they were a new company far as doing more then just retracking. Now they're on FIRE!!! and with that comes premium pricing look at B&M almost ALL of their coasters seam to start at damn near 20 mil lol. Yet I'm sure in that 15 mil KK is spending it includes some type of budget for making things look nice around the area. Yeah, but as far as ROI goes, wouldn't dueling be far better (and crazier looking, getting more of the GP's attention)? Somebody correct me if I am wrong, although I know it would have double the capacity.
