  8. Toverland announces new B&M Wing Coaster and water ride for 2018! It's finally official: Toverland will open a spectacular Wing Coaster in 2018 and a water attraction for the whole family. The Dutch theme park has just announced this. Rumors indicated the arrival of the new attractions a while ago, but Toverland didn't say anything about it, until now. Now the theme park gives clarity. "It is true that we will open two major attractions next year: a wing coaster from the Swiss manufacturer Bolliger & Mabillard - the first in the Benelux - and a water attraction for the whole family of Mack Rides from Germany," says a proud spokeswoman. A wing coaster is a roller coaster type with the cars hanging next to the track. Details about the attractions are still missing. "But the wing coaster will have multiple inversions." The two attractions will become part of a new themed area, which will be located behind the current park. "We will announce later what the theme of the area will be". Rumors about the wing coaster of about 40 meters high were spread out in January. This week it became clear that Toverland will also add a gentle boat ride next year. The ride will be partly indoors. 9. The park just posted this onride of Dawson Duel on their YouTube page. It opens this Friday the 5th of May.
  10. Yes, I have. I've ridden Joris & De Draak (Efteling), Heidi The Ride (Plopsaland De Panne), Stampida and Tomahawk (PortAventura). Have you ridden a Sky Rocket II (like Sky Scream and Tempesto)?
  11. Why is this so funny? But the trains look awesome, though!
  12. I've been on 4 coasters with a drop over 200ft: 1. Shambhala 2. Schwur des Kärnan 3. Red Force 4. Silver Star
  13. 2017 Heidi The Ride - Plopsaland De Panne Red Force - Ferrari Land Gold Rush - Slagharen It's not open yet, but I will be riding Star Trek: Operation Enterprise at Movie Park Germany this year.
  14. I found some great pictures from a bird's eye view of SFGAm! Source
  15. Star Trek: Operation Enterprise - Making of the Soundtrack
  16. Here's a great video that explains why rides sometimes stop. Nothing new for most of us, but I think it's very good for people who don't know how these rides work. Also, the drone footage of the rides is amazing!
  17. Thank you! It is a fantastic park, that should be on top of everyone's bucket list
  18. ^I had the exact same experience! The back was very shaky, and the front was much smoother. But as you said, Red Force is just awesome! So I don't mind that it is not super smooth.
  19. Yes, the theming is so well done throughout the whole park. I would say it is up there with Europa-Park, but that is just a different kind of theming. EP has more 'relaxed' theming, while PA is more 'active', if that makes any sense. ^ That excited me. You just named my three top coasters, and I look forward to riding something to beat Ex G! By the way, with express pass, is one day enough to do PAV and FW? Then I hope you will be lucky this summer! Shambhala, Taron, Helix, GeForce and Kärnan are my favourite coasters, and Shambhala is in my opinion clearly the best. Don't get me wrong, it are all fantastic rides, and everyone will rank them differently. With Express, you will be able to ride all the big rides at both PA en FL. But I don't think that one day is enough to really experience the entire park. I mean, there is so much more to see than just the coasters. The shows in PortAventura are awesome! I would say, you'll need at least 2-3 days. I was at the park for 3 days and was not able to cover everything.
