^I was also there, and I agree about the lines being bad. I've definitely seen worse, but the lines were still pretty long. El Toro was an hour or more wait, and for the first time I've seen in a while they had to use the entire queue. Nitro actually had a wait (OMG!) as well, about 45 minutes, even though they were sending out trains relatively quickly. The line was filled all the way to the first switchback. Zumanjaro's line was really long, including the Single Rider queue. It took nearly 2 hours to get to the front of the line. Kingda Ka had an enormous 2 hour+ line which actually went right up to the entrance so we didn't bother until the end. Near closing time, people were leaving the line left and right and they were incredibly efficient with the trains so that huge line only took about 30-45 minutes. We actually ended up getting the last train of the day! (Can you say final ride!! ) After the ride everyone was screaming "one more time!" over and over again, and I thought they were actually about to dispatch us, but they were just sending the train out in front of us. All in all, the crowds didn't ruin the day too much. [sorry about the TL:DR-ness of this post]

When I went, the line was extremely long, filling up the entire queue. From my experience at Gadv I estimated a 1.5 hour or more wait. However, the staff at KD were so incredibly efficient that the line was only 45 minutes. I wouldn't worry about lines at I305 to be honest -

Personally I'd rather see a B&M hyper coaster than a wingrider. I305 is more designed for sustained positive g's, high average speed (actually has the record among non-launched coasters for highest average speed in the world), and quick transitions. Airtime is not a priority on this coaster. I feel that KD needs something with some airtime, something that can top AC to the south. -

^Oh man, I don't even want to hear what she said during 9/11 if it was that much worse than this. -
By the 18th, schools are usually out unfortunately. If you want to beat the crowds I suggest going early or even at opening. The lines are usually short until an hour or more after opening. Since it is a weekday, it probably wont be packed but because it's summer vacations crowds may be moderate. If it it packed, you should consider the flashpass otherwise you'll only get a few rides in. The worst crowds are usually around 1PM to 4PM from my experience. A word of advice, never, ever start at the front by Superman or Green Lantern because they are close to the entrance so most will head over there.

In 6 hours you can get in all the major coasters for sure if it's what I like to call an ERT day (when it's practically empty with walk-ons everywhere). Moderately crowded days are possible, but you may want to get a flashpass if you wanna get on everything. If it's crowded, forget it haha. Even staying for many hours won't make a difference if it's packed

The trim is designed to make the train slow down to a specific speed so the forces are never *too intense. When the train goes faster than normal, it activates more noticeably, and when it's slower, it's less noticeable or doesn't activate at all. Things that influence this change are passenger weight, wind speed, temperature, and even cable lift speed sometimes. You definitely feel it, I think it's the only low point of the ride. If I305 had an metaphorical MCBR (and by that I mean where you get a breather or break), that would definitely be it. You're so in the moment though that you really don't care, and it still is very fast throughout the rest of the layout. -

You know what I love about CP? (Though I've never went) The fact that management is so involved with the guests. It seems like Tony has developed a relationship with the fans especially on Twitter, and he always goes out of his way to make sure everything is alright. -

^^I think Nitro's downtime was train-related, but I could be way off. -

^TTD has too many sensors on the track to count. I forgot how many, or how they are distributed (according to some interview), but that ride has more than enough of them. It seems Gerst is now getting their fair share of accidents (and not Intamin for once). First NTG, now this. I hope something else doesn't happen. -

(This is another person's speculation, not mine) After the ride broke down, they must have sent an empty car through the layout, and re-started the computer program that manages the blocks assuming the car would return to the station (which they aren't supposed to do). By the way, the computer doesn't know where a train is on a block, only that it has entered/left it. The computer re-started, and since the knowledge that the empty train had entered the block had been erased, it assumed that the "ghost train" wasn't there, and sent out the loaded train as usual, thus allowing two trains on the same block. Manufactures have different means of preventing the program from being restarted in this manner, for example putting the switch/control panel in clear site of the layout. Again, just speculation. I'll wait for the investigation to be sure -

^I agree, 5 seconds is a bit slow for a hydraulic launch. TTD does 0-120 in 4 seconds, but it's only 9 mph faster. -

Off topic, but I'm rather annoyed that the Google Map of CW doesn't include Leviathan. I hope they update it soon, because I'm curious as to its exact placement in the park
