Headed to Dollywood Sunday th 24th!!!

I went to the park last year mid September on a Saturday and a Sunday. The Sunday was significantly less crowded than the Saturday. Between both days I was able to get 9 rides on LR and multiple rides on everything else. If I were to guess longest wait times you would experience I might say 45 mins for LR, 30 40 mins for Firechaser, 15 minutes for Mystery Mine, and 10 minutes for everything else. Download the Dollywood app this weekend and you should get a good idea of crowds and lines. Unless there is a crazy event I don't know about, I would say go for it and have fun! Awesome advice! Downloaded the app and looked. There’s no waits for anything expect LR lol. It seems like today was the day to be there! I’m going to go for sure and I may go ahead and purchase the TimeSaver Unlimited pass. For the $45 I’d have no waits all day and can ride as much as I want. Last time I was there Mystery Mine was still new so I don’t get down there often enough. Also seems like LR has been doing ok as of lately!

Anyone here going today? I was thinking about going but would have to go alone. Just seeing if I could join any group that might also be there today.

How are the crowds end of September? I plan to go September 24th. Its my only day to go and I really hope to experience Lightning Rod.

Well, the first two that come to mind are Outlaw Run and Lightning Rod. I thought that those two were considered steel coasters?

I went last season with my partner. It was the first time for both of us. I have to admit... getting his ass on zumanjaro WAS the highlight lol. He freaked the hell out the whole time. I died laughing. Lol. You two will have a blast.

This!! Great announcement from the park. If I remember correctly they used to have a year round calendar? Maybe I'm mistaken? Just glad to see daily operations are here/back!!

I was never fortunate enough to go on any of these tours with everyone, I did meet Rob once at the tatsu camp out many years ago and he was a great guy. I like how down to earth everyone is in real life and it would have been great to experience one of the tours or meet ups. That being said, I completely get why they don't do the tours any more. They have to protect what they have created and if people ruin it, then it tarnishes a good name.

At the park today. Lines aren't terrible. Lots of schools. I wish they announced when schools were going to be here. They don't always. Even with tons of school kids the longest wait according to the app is only 30 minutes. Hoping the schools leave around 6. Does anyone know what time they leave?

When I lived in California I would go all the time to Disneyland alone. Had zero issue going alone and typically would meet cool people and hang with them. Now I live near cedar point and will be going alone there but I'll post for that when I'm going to see if anyone wants to meet up

We just left and grabbed two rides on mystic timbers thanks to the spin and win games that give you front of line passes. We also ended up with two front of line passes for banshee. Rode racer and diamondback. Had a couple beers and really enjoyed ourselves... other than the insane crowds in the park lol. Definitely won't do a pass holder preview night again, but this was still a fun time.
