I will definitely be attempting to get tickets for this! I feel like this preview event won't be super crowded since they are limiting the number of tickets available! Let's hope this hunch is right!

^Seriously!?!? They are cutting the series off!? I had no idea. That actually makes me really sad. It was one of the things my BFF and I had together that we both just loved!! We have more we like to do together, but this was one of the things he introduced me to and I became a fan of. I was truly hoping it would keep going. However, I can see how maybe people would have been disappointed being that they basically just started things from square one again.

I don’t know if this is the right place for this, or if anyone here watches this, but; Once Upon a Time(airs Sunday’s on ABC) this week featured Madam Leota from the haunted mansion! I thought it was so cool. The show uses Disney characters, but it appears that this week they tapped into characters from a ride, in this case being haunted mansion. Mods feel free to move this if I posted in the wrong place!

I haven't but last time I went to a pass holder preview event (mystic timbers) that park was so crowded it wasn't even worth it. lol. that line was like 4 hours long.

Just thought I would ask in here since this is the main park, but we had such a great time at Disney the beginning of February that we are going to go again first week of May during the week. The 5th, 6th, and 7th to be exact. How are crowds around this time, for those of you who are familiar? Thanks!

I’m just reading all this and seeing these events. I’m definitely going to try to make the camp out and coaster mania this year. I’d also like to make opening weekend. And hopeful there will be a Passholders preview event for SV.

I’m happy to say we got to do both Pandora rides and flight of passage twice. Once at rope drop and once we scored fast passes for it! It’s a really impressive ride! We are still here at the parks for another couple days, but when I arrive hole I may include a small trip report and share some photos from this awesome trip!

Yep, this is my preference. The only caveats to doing the night time wait in line are: - Don't do it on an EMH night. It doesn't work because there are EMH people waiting to ride and often times they will start by putting them in the FastPass queue while the standby line of day guests clears out. - Just remember that if this is your only day at DAK and you wait until the very end of the night and the ride breaks (which doesn't actually happen very often) then that was your only chance to ride. I've actually never heard of someone not getting on the ride due to it breaking down, but I just wanted to throw that out there. Usually my average wait at the end of the night (and I mean END of the night getting in line at like :58 whatever hour the park is closing) is about 50 minutes. If you get in the line at :30, you're just going to stand there for 30 minutes until the park closes as they are trying to get in as many FP+ people as they can to clear that line. So you might as well go grab a beer and get in line right at :58! We will honestly try to get on a couple different occasions. I would like to ride it more than once during the trip I think. Thanks Robb, I will wait until the last couple minutes like you suggested! If you guys are around at the parks this week, I'll say hi if we bump into you!

^ Thanks so much. I think I will do the evening and just go in before closing. It seems to be Robb's preference, too, and as they go a lot, I trust the opinions of Robb, Elissa, and of course you. Plus... I like having beer while I wait in line for rides lol. You can't really get beer in the morning lol.

Hey guys, heading down to Orlando on Friday. I think my only goal is to get on Flight of Passage this whole trip. Is the verdict in on which is more ideal; arrive early and head straight to the attraction or go a few minutes before park closing? I am there for 5 days so I am fine to even try both. I just want to see what the opinions were here on the forums. Thanks!

Headed to Disney world Friday for a week. Definitely cedar point Hopefully King’s island. Not sure where else yet. I’m sure some other parks will happen but nothing planned yet.

Exterminator is literally my favorite ride at kennywood. You’ll never laugh so hard on any other coaster! Lol

So I’m going in February and of all the research I’ve done, it looks like getting to Animal Kingdom early... very early, and doing rope drop for Flight of Passage is a good idea. I’m in The same situation with having to get fast passes only 30 days out. I have not been able to find a fast pass for flight of passage as of yet. My plan is just to get their 90 to 120 minutes early for Pandora and head straight to flight of passage and just wait outside the park until it opens. You should have pretty good luck getting a fast pass for seven dwarfs mine train over at Magic Kingdom though, I see that every day when I check for fast passes. Same thing with frozen, I see fast passes available for that every day that I check 30 days out.

^^. I’m not sure about every coaster at SFMM, but I know for sure they always closed X/X2 early. Granted, that was 2001, but I can’t remember any of the other coasters closing earlier than park closing.

Question for all you locals. How are the crowds first two weeks of February? I checked some crowd calendars, but I’d like to know what your experience with the parks this time of year are.

I’m going to Disney World for three days in February. I’m holding off on all other parks this season up here in the north east until then.

For the record, I’ve seen more people say they enjoy dragster than Kingda Ka based on the fact that Dragsters launch is much less shakey.

I’ve been wondering when the lift would be completed. Looks amazing! Not much track work left to go!

It’s been very hot today. The Dollywood dream more resort has been a great escape for food and drinks! Lightning rod was actually not as much fun as I had expected. Great ride, I just built it up too much in my mind lol. The back row is the way to go after trying middle and front. We actually loved fire chaser express today. We had the most fun on it lol.

Does DW serve beer anywhere or are there places nearby to get a beer?
