I guess. If only they could place rides in proper locations (e.x I305 in Safari Village)

Man, I couldn't believe the news at first. But, my prayers still go with the family. I was in the park when the earlier incident with the guy getting stuck in the closing Raptor gate occured. Course, I wasn't in the area: I was over by Magnum. But, I heard sirens, and didn't figure out what happened till later. My friend's family was supposed to go today: luckily, they pushed their trip back to next year. Hearing this, My heart sank. Not only because such an accident happened, but it happened over a iPhone. If people are so attached to these things, why bring them on a ride like Raptor that you could possibly lose it? And then I realized that the announcement was right around the corner. If I could come, I would. But, I have other plans. I hope everything turns out alright...

^ I second the airtime that was on Shockwave. I always rode in the last row, and on the first hill, you got some pretty great airtime. And, even a little on that second hill. But, that's just me.

I still find it funny that the line for I305 is always shorter than Volcano's. I'm not surprised, since a lot of people I know are still scared of I305, but will ride Volcano for eternity. But, it still makes me laugh.

^ I went to this park back in 2008, and didn't think much of it.Now, seven years and plenty of changes later, the park is doing a dang good job compared to when I went back in 08. Kudos, KD. ...Next year's going to mark ten years since Paramount was bought by Cedar Fair...wow...

^ Maybe. Maybe not This whole thing about Hurler being crap is starting to get annoying. Some people don't like it, some people find it alright. I'm kinda on the fence: I'd love to have it knocked down ahead of Anaconda. I'm just tired of hearing about. But, that's just me.

So, I was on the KD front page. Then, I found something. It appears the park is having a Coaster Campout as well. Its from August 20th to 21st, and it appears to be similar to Cedar Point's. It is right on the front page of the website, as well as under their Special Events tab if anyone wants to check it out...(I couldn't get the link to work.. )

Bringing up those Cedar Fair commercials...KD has one for their 40th anniversary. It's filmed at Knotts. It was probably easier to film there, and it would be partialy believable if there wasn't Xcelerator in the back...

Ugh, I really want to do a large trip like this now. That looked like a lot of fun. Great TR!

^ Odd question: Are rides at the park down often, within the same day? We went back in June, and Maverick was down four times within the time we were in the back of the park. Windseeker had shut down (doesn't surprise me that much with it being by the lake), Raptor was down, Mean Streak was down, Wicked Twister opened late, and TTD was down for a little because of a rollback. Magnum was on-and-off all day too: but from what I've heard its kinda common. Does this happen often? Or was this just a bad day?

Seems legit. Honestly, I care more about a used TOGO stand-up than some singer who licked a donut and said some words that some American has said at some point. But, that's just me.

A pipe scream would be disappointing...If its a flat ride, I want it to be a HUSS Frisbee. It seems possible, and it would fit in the footprint left over. If its a coaster...I'll still be happy. Maverick-like, though? I mean, I305 is kinda like Maverick already, with all of the turns in the middle of the ride. Launched coaster, however? Heck yea. Anything but a pipe scream though. I just don't like those things. If Dorney does get Shockwave, But, who cares about my opinion?

Speaking of HUSS, I saw on Screamscape this morning that they are remaking their Enterprise models (I love those things). I looked at some model pictures and it looks pretty sweet. I'd love for one of these to get installed at KD in the next few years (especially since they used to have an original Enterprise ride). But, that'll never happen...one can dream...

I hope your speculation is somewhat correct. I'd love a Frisbee in Candy Apple Grove.

Huh. I really want to know if this true or not now...I don't want to get my hopes up...
