  1. Awesome updates! Now I really can't wait for GWW to catch up on gold porn and seeing this myself! Thanks for sharing!
  2. Thanks for posting! While I understand that some companies don't want to spill the beans and I respect that, there was not much beefy & meaty stuff to the B&M segment, still enjoyable but definitely the polar opposite of S&S, Pro Slide's, and even Rocky Mountain's segments.
  3. I finally got around to watching the video just a bit ago. I really like what S&S has come up with so far! I like how they're coming up with solutions for parks highly limited on space, being that Polar Coaster idea...I can almost see this paired with a tower ride, and the observation ride as a nice combo package...questions for next year? I'm highly excited for the next installment, crossing my fingers for GCI interviews (for obvious reasons)...being as we're getting one of their coasters, I really want to hear from them! I also want to hear more about Gravity Group's doings and whether if they can give RMC a run for their money.
  4. Looks like they did. Same model as the one KBF had.
  5. Being observant about theme park stuff I noticed something awkward... What do you see in this image? (It was one of the first things that caught my eye when I watched it yesterday).
  6. I guess you can figure out what I'm playing Black Ops 2 features an in-game recording system where you can rewatch some of your previous matches in free-roam, first, or 3rd person, through all player's eyes (by switching). You can scrub through and pull out the highlights from that match (like your long range head shot through the trees) and watch it from any angle. It's pretty sweet! Also, finally actually PLAYED a Wii U today at Game Stop when picking up Black Ops. Only game available to play was Rayman. The graphics were stunning and very crisp! Given it was just a sidescroller, there's not a whole lot I can say but it looked pretty good! On the other hand, I did not quite get to see the full features of the tablet controller...it pretty much served the purpose of being a secondary, sometimes useless screen at times. Actually, it is very much like the Nintendo DS in console form.
  7. I can't wait to see the videos. I briefly checked out today's live updates during breaks and lunch. I'm really liking what I'm seeing so far. It's going to be a tough week with playing Black Ops II and following the IAAPA updates!
  8. Any water slide that consists of a trap door vertical drop! That initial moment of climbing into the capsule, getting situated, and closing the door is enough to get you nervous. Top it off with what feels like you are standing straight up, maybe leaning against the wall in a shower stall. Once that trap door flops open, it feels like you have absolutely nothing under you until you hit the first curve. I was already getting nervous enough just walking up the tower and hearing the 'kerchunk...hissss' sounds the trap door was making. It was not so bad the second or 3rd time I did it but it is still very freaky! Also, having recently ridden CGA's sky coaster, it was my first time getting the honors of pulling the ripcord...which is far more scarier than having someone do it for you. The initial freefall moment where you are diving head first/bobbing really got me, though it was definitely a fun experience! Blue Fire Guy and I decided to try it out after debating shelling out the cash to do so. Skip to 3:06 for the dive, you can hear my almost classic Mortal Kombat-like scream coming down. Also please excuse the recording of the sky...while my cousin did hold her iPhone in the proper way of filming, she completely almost missed the action after the dive.
  9. Speaking of IAAPA, I'm looking forward to hearing more about Gold Striker from GCI. With that said, I'm crossing my fingers that one of the questions I brought up gets brought up there, will have to wait, hope, and see!
  10. Hooray for Speedway! Such an intense little ride there! It's spot does look rather temporary though as it appear to be right in front of one of the food stands. Thanks for the Hurricane/UT update, it's been a while since I've heard or seen any activity on this. Actually, with the lack of any updates at the 'walk and with all of the excitement and focus on Gold Striker updates, I've almost completely forgot all about Undertow's existence. It looks quite strange to see an empty deck up top. Also too bad all the rider-controlled flats are down...Rock-o-Plane, Wipeout, Tornado...and even Tilt-a-whirl (Yes, I've gotten some pretty hefty rotations on that thing just by sliding left to right at the right moments).
  11. I finally held a Wii U controller earlier, pretty neat! Too bad the store only had video demos, no actual gameplay to spark an interest. As much as I want to get one, I think I just may wait it out for a bit. I know it's going to be a while before more are available but that will give the console some time for the game library to build up and I'll be able to see the system's potential...or the possible endless shovelware games the Wii was doomed with. In the mean time, I pretty much see this system as a console version of the DS, due to the tablet controller (which is huge by the way). I have a feeling most of the games coming out will be a bit gimmicky with that secondary screen and/or will primarily be used for menu screen/item inventory stuff (easy switch of weapons for Zelda title?). Speaking of DS, I'm still (slowly) moving along on my Pokemon Black 2 adventure. I actually traded over my Lv25 Dewott from Pokemon Black, going to start a new game, maybe get Tepig to also trade over...then start a new game on Black 1 again. I'm currently leveling up my monsters to Lv30 to knock out the tricky Elesa (4th gym, not to be confused with Elissa ). My party consists of Dewott, Servine, Sandile, Growlithe, Magnemite, and Lucario. Last but definitely not least, I'm totally ready for Black Tuesday as I'm going to call it (Black Ops II)...ready to start killing some zombies!
  12. Awesome!!! Despite the pretty bad-looking weather this is looking really good! Going to study them more when I get home from work, have too much stuff to get done today and GS isn't helping
  13. For those who wonder, the Massacre Manor theme is now live!
  14. I'm sure I'll be making it to SCBB as some point next year, so with this said, will have to be Gold Striker and Undertow. As BFG said, I've seen (and followed) Gold Striker construction since the ground broke (and even before when it was a rumor back in 08) and it is very surreal to know that CGA is finally getting a coaster! It felt even more unreal reading CF's press release and seeing only CP, CGA, and Knotts getting coasters, but CGA being second on the list of their announcements.
