  1. They have coasters with OTSRs that dive in water. California's Great America and Islands Of Adventure.
  2. They have had a coaster named Wildcat. Wanda City Theme Park & Tayto Park.
  3. Never being born. What's worse than not being allowed to snap a new Flying Scooters?
  4. A B&M being built like Manhattan Express. What's worse than having theming removed from Buena Vista Street windows?
  5. California's Great America is cool with rerides, at least on *ugh*Flight Deck. If nobody's in your row, they let you ride again.
  6. Can you imagine a world without Grizzly @ GCA?
  7. Mabye they'll go all Hercules and trim the first drop real hard. They might even take out the high five and just build a giant dueling rose bowl. It's not that evil but it's just a start for SFMM.
  8. My record is 22 on California Screamin' back in December 2011. Thank you single rider. I also got about 9 rides in on Hotel Breakers ERT for Millenium Force.
  9. Interesting. It's a rather weird premise, and queues could be problematic. The ride experience & capacity does seem to depend on the lethargy of the person with the hammer. If TPR came across one of these at a carnival or some other easy place, it could quickly get hilariously competitive.
  10. This isn't my house. This is too nice to be that, but it is also less than few minutes away from a coaster. The coaster is Tiger Trek - Oakland Zoo. Yes, yes, it is kinda dumb.
  11. I apologize, as I just got onto TPR, and I keep screwing up the topics and posting twice. I hope you can forgive me on this.
  12. A California trip is a great Idea. You could start in LA and ride Twisted Colossus, Voyage to the Iron Reef(?), USH, DLR, and maybe even go up north to SCBB, CGA & SFDK.
  13. I really do suck at skiing, but I prefer going sledding during the off season.
  14. First Coaster: Gold Striker Last Coaster: Timber Terror
  15. Both have 4 Wooden Coasters & a wild mouse. Kings Dominion and Pleasure Beach Blackpool. (I understand PBB's mouse is a woodie. )
  16. Oh hi there. I'm George Donovan, or DonGeorge on Theme Park Review. Here's some stuff about me. I have been an enthusiast for 6 years, and have decided to finally get a TPR account. I was born on May 20, 2000, the same day Mega Zeph opened. My home park is California's Great America. Yes, yes, laugh. I live in the delectably sleazy city of Oakland, California. My favorite coaster is Top Thrill Dragster. My favorite wooden coaster is Tremors at Silverwood. My least favorite coaster is Kong at Discovery Kingdom. My favorite flats are Maxair and any Intamin 2nd Gen Tower. While I love video games, my main hobby is roller coasters. My house is 5 minutes from a roller coaster (Tiger Express @ Oakland Zoo), and 2 minutes from my high school. My favorite TV shows are The Simpsons and Mystery Science Theater 3000. This concludes my intro.
  17. Through Being Cool - Devo
  18. They both replaced TOGOs with Intamins. Great Adventure and Knotts.
  19. While this is an interesting theme for a shooting dark ride, I would love to see a Roaring 20's shooting dark ride, kind of like Dick Tracy's Crimestoppers. *atmosphere intensifies
  20. I Bring a Wallet Phone Coaster Shirt I try not to bring a mini backpack or anything, but this depends on the park. If at SFDK, I don't take my backpack because I don't care for fluffy bunnies. If I'm at CGA, It's usually cool to take your backpack on. I remember at Cedar Point in '13, there were dumptrucks of Fluffy Bunnies, and just on that I pulled several dollars out of my day.
  21. Whenever I think of the potential CGA could have had while also keeping much more charm, it does make me a bit sad. What cruel God would tear out a shuttle loop?? But I understand they didn't want to compete with SFMW up north, so that's why they built the Arrow Mouse & the go karts.
  22. A spectacular night ride on Timber Terror at Silverwood, August 31.
  23. I have to agree with GIBs. Aftershock was one of the best coaster experiences I had all year.
