  1. Would you blame it on a staffing issue or upper management not caring issue?
  2. The family and I decided to brave the hours of corn fields for a trip to Adventureland! My first time in Iowa. The whole state looked very clean and new even though it wasn't. We stayed at the Adventureland Inn resort. Originally I was laughing at them calling it a resort. Then I saw the place. Very large. 2 huge indoor pool area's with swim up bars. We ate 2 meals at the attached sports bar spectators. Very good food and very nice place. Anyways the park. Looked very clean and well kept. At opening I ran to the monster. Great coaster with great hang time. This was my first infinity coaster and it was glass smooth. After exiting I walked onto the tornado. It was smooth but did not really have any airtime. Didnt do much. I knew nothing of the underground other then its a cci. Very neat old school cheesy dark ride. Outlaw was the surprise of the trip. It reminded me of cornball express. Pretty decent little coaster. The newest coaster Phenoix was fun. I like these Maurer spinners. This whole section of the park looked new. New fencing, New looking Chinese food truck ect. What used to be next to the teacup? Was it a top spin? Water park was also very nice. They fit a lot in a small area. It was a beautiful labor day weekend in Iowa. Thanks for reading Love the hangtime on this ride One of the few whippy elements About as much as you can see on this ride I love that most the rides and ques are shaded or covered You can walk 360 around this ride I got a good view of dt Des Moines If the lift hill was 15 feet taller it might have some airtime Fun ride sounded like crap lol mini cornball The waterride next to this looked sweet. Very spinny tube ride This looked way better then steel dragon at Waldameer. Looked more permanent I went down the first drop backwards. This and the Monster had crazy fast dispatches Super clean and nice park Very nice hotel. Free trolly shuttle service
  3. Yep. Cedar Fair is closing all but their biggest parks on Labor Day. And even the ones staying open are getting a significantly smaller fall event. And Winterfest is cancelled period. Six Flags is managing to basically have a full Fright Fest minus only the haunted houses. AND is still doing their winter event everywhere they'd already rolled it out to before. None of the parks are ending their season before they ordinarily would. Six Flags is handling this better. Hands down. If the events are profitable I say good job Six Flags. If they are losing money then it seems useless
  4. The logo makes me think waterpark addition but a RMC would be sweet considering the parks close location
  5. At first I was thinking of the stand up Vortex trains and I really had to think for a second
  6. Nice report. Sounds like you got lucky and got to get some good rides in!
  7. I enjoyed your report and I really like KK. I thought for a small park there coaster line up beats any other small park around
  8. Looks good. I really enjoy this little park
  9. Any movement on the old stinger site? I am really hoping CF starts working with Gravity Group
  10. Wow I can't believe you left so quickly. usually the back corner by Storm Chaser is dead. You should of been easily been able to social distance your self there.
  11. They need to Riddler Revenge with new Vest restraint trains to this and Kong at SFDK. Then send the the old trains to DL which could really use the old parts
  12. I think White Lightning will be the first coaster to try the CGI steel wooden coaster track?
  13. The social media T4 joke was dueling SLC's so I have no idea. New Vekoma vest trains would be great though.
  14. I haven't used my membership since Feb but when I logged into my portal I can see where they did upgrade me for free.
  15. I love how reading every trip report people mention Skyrush trying to rip people in half. That ride looks so good
  16. Looks like you had a good time at SFA! I have yet to ride a superman ride of steel clone and it looks good. Enjoyed reading your reports
  17. You could have a short drive to DollyWood, Lake Winnie, SFOG or Family Kingdom from where you live.
  18. I still dont understand the access passes. Friends have sent me pics of super long lines of waiting for access passes. Defeats the purpose
  19. What they should of done with fast and furious supercharged is make it like radiator springs racers. Have you slowly drive through some garages with cars being hopped up on lifts, then have it slowly change into the other movies until bam its racing with another car around a slot car type track.
  20. I think they are choosing to not make final payments atm to keep the money in the bank rather then not having the funds to pay
  21. I read somewhere that SEAS wants to buy parks that don't make it through the pandemic
  22. As someone who drove all the way from Michigan to visit Kennywood I was very impressed by it. It had its own cool vibe to it. A great collection of flat rides and a couple really really good coasters
