  1. I've had a few incidents. A major one I had was while riding DeJa Vu at Magic Mountain a couple years before it was relocated. Those restraints are really good, they're huge and they feel safe, much like the feeling Tatsu's restraints give you. But I was being pretty careless while getting in my seat. I just recall pulling the restraint down just a tad and I had a ton of leg room. If their was a seatbelt to be strapped, I didn't strap it. You might be thinking "come on old man it's your fault" but listen, the reason I didn't put my restraint all the way down was because I was in the middle of inhaling the most rancid disgusting and pungent fart someone in the car in front of me let loose. I had my hands covering my nose it was that bad. So I assumed a ride op would set my restraint up for me. Nobody did. Probably because of the fart. It did lock in place, but I could probably slide out if I tried (I'm a really thin guy). I wasn't thinking about pulling the restraint tighter while going backwards out of the station, but then we started going up the lift. I had no choice but to practically stand on top of the car in front of me trying to pull my restraint in. Oh my god I was sweating out of every oriface. I was standing on a suspended coaster car 160 feet in the air. Luckily once we dropped I could fall into my seat, and going up the second lift the restraint had already pushed itself in to me. Safety first, guys. Don't let someone's disgusting farts stop you from pulling your lap bar down. And don't trust your safety to teenagers. I rode the ride again a year after and I was able to overcome my fear of it. Oh did I mention that part? I was pretty much in shell shock thanks to this!
  2. ^Probably not, but it is a little elevated. Nothing worth mentioning though!
  3. ^Yet never in my life have I felt more like a sheep than I did waiting in line for a HHN maze.
  4. If that's true, which I don't recall at all, then at least it's the first hybrid in California marketed with its airtime. Six Flags reeling in that words-first ca$h money #$wag
  5. I think this time around the ride should be open in spring. I don't know why you're thinking it won't. Six Flags magic Mountain has a reputation to uphold for delaying openings. Not a good reputation, but a reputation nonetheless. But RMC is doing fantastic work and i think it'll actually be open on time. possibly even before hand. I know they do. But RMC is doing a great job so far as you said.
  6. The exit for the ride should be like a hall of mirrors or something. Really drive the wacky twisted theme home

  8. Same advertising style those European parks like to use. "It's so scary for real reasons or whatever!"
  9. ^ Just wait for a few more days when TPR posts their own official page of legit photographs when the hill is halfway up at least.
  10. ^ You didn't consider the reverse free-fall coasters that came before dragster to be one trick ponies? Or were you one of those people who simply didn't consider them coasters?
  11. Please elaborate on how Twisted Colossus is only focusing on that one moment of the ride and it will not be a great ride as a whole? I mean what the fudge? The non-stop airtime hills, two giant ass drops and racing elements don't do it for ya?
  12. ....Lots of airtime.. Lots and lots of airtime Anyone have an update? It's been a while maybe vertical construction is about to start?
  13. Scream and green lantern have both stapled my genits.
  14. Assuming they don't have the Ride Ops lower the bar for you and staple you down, like Xcelerator when it opened or Bizarro at SFNE now. The airtime will be there.
  15. My only response now to tc posts is just...Airtime. Lots of airtime will happen.
  16. And for those first few years you can be sure on finding me riding this thing all the time! Prepare to see that new fresh white paint on the ride to be colored brown thanks to how much this thing is going to make me hurl.
  17. You really think the high five is just a parking lot spectacle gimmick? I'd ride anything just for the chance to high five the riders of the train I'm racing with. That's exciting. To be clear, you will still be several feet away from the other train. You will not be able to actually hi-five anybody. Duh.

  19. ^Different ride ops. Or the same ones, they just felt lazy probably.
  20. but braking down the drop is just so fun! They definitely should've made a second station to unload passengers
