  1. Rode revolution the other day So sick of the otsr's! Enough is enough. If magic mountain could get away with lap bars only on full throttle and twisted colossus and got rid of the crane with a few marks on full throttles loop, why can't they give us new otsr's or something #boycottrevolution
  2. I don't know, but it was a bit awkward on Superman. I rode on the arm guard seat on Superman once, didn't bug me at all. The Green Lantern guards annoy me.
  3. It does look a little stretched out but considering it immediately follows the first drop, any smaller and everyone on the train is going to have blood vessels popping in their brain.
  4. call me dumb, but what part are you talking about? The hill following the first drop.
  5. Is there any other ride that drops straight into an airtime hill the way TC does? Id like to see if people enjoy that.
  6. Ok? The fact that the park was discounting their premium level pass to $70 is a pretty telling sign as to the quality of the product. They're not even trying to pretend they are a high quality amusement park. $70 for a gold pass is basically them saying "we know our product sucks, but we also know you guys who visit us don't give a sh*t and just want to ride coasters." Oh I see what you mean. Yea. At least it was just a sale.
  7. Magic mountain has the potential to gain the charm and allure that other nearby parks have. People talk about space mountain like it's the best thing since... Pancakes. People talk about xcelerator like its the only ride that launches you up a tower. Silver bullet is awe inspiring... Because it goes underneath the track. People look at those rides that way because the parks give overall higher quality experiences. I never heard anyone talk about how tall lex luthor is or that tatsu puts you in a flying position. The park encourages forgettable experiences with no charm and no reason to visit unless they add a few more coasters. I think twisted colossus is going to be a step in the right direction. Quality>Quantity.
  8. I think the park should take some time to really focus on the quality of the park and the ride operations. Give people a reason to visit. Having the most coasters isn't really appealing on its own.
  9. That's a great rule! Remember how unprofessional the Tatsu ops were getting? Glad they nipped this problem in the bud.
  10. ^ Quick, man! Get your phone out and take some pictures! Go! I believe in you!
  11. I have a feeling a common complaint on Twisted Colossus will be that the ride is actually too long, it's 4 minutes for crying out loud. But we'll still have those random guys saying it's too short. I don't even.... What..
  12. ^we'll see if you're right about "squandered potential" when the ride opens. Here's a hint, you're probably not.
  13. Nobody's saying this ride will be bad if it doesn't duel. But if it does duel consistently, that is what will make this ride truly exceptional even among other RMC coasters. It does make a difference! Especially with multiple elements where riders can interact with the riders on the other train.
  14. To me the other half of the ride looks like it's going to be the highlight! You expect it to be exactly the same but get a zero g stall, a reverse over-bank on the high five, and a double down where you expect to go straight down. Man this whole ride's going to be good!
  15. I'd love to see theming on that hill again... At least synthetic grass! Come on six flags step it up!
  16. ^Let's wait for the ride to open before we come to the conclusion of the ride being the same the second time. What's really going to make this ride stand out is if they can consistently keep the ride dueling.
  17. I just want to comment on this before it potentially turns into a shitstorm. Every little detail and every little change they decided to make was in an effort to create the best possible product. I'm sure if they decided to add 50 feet of height- the ride would be nothing like it is now and maybe even not as marketable. And the stats do seem a little weird, although a few feet is nothing to get worked up about. We got a non stop airtime machine with Six Flags paying minimal on major additions to the ride and getting the absolute most out of half of what the original structure had to offer. Also the height of the lift is probably going to be 128 feet . Isn't that what the Six Flags CEO said? It just makes sense too. Probably a typo on the 121 or some kind of technicality.
  18. So much for your sources. You probably just found out about the name on Coaster-Net and then went off of some speculation going on around there. And didn't the leak just happen through the nodes or whatever in the main website? That's what it sounds like all you had to go off of. Stop trying to be all important and relevant with your "I got sources" attitude. Just ride some roller coasters.
  19. I guess you have a point it's largely the same. I mean just one lap will deliver so much airtime and fun. Doing it again is like the joy of re riding a Roller coaster without leaving the train. Except it's like riding a better roller coaster after you rode a really good one. So wtf are you going on about?
