  1. Tatsu in the morning- Fun Tatsu as the sun begins to set- OH MY GOD!
  2. This is the kind of ride that even Disneyland would love to have.
  3. I think I'm the only one kinda nervous about going through that twist on the right. Whoa I just noticed the trains in the picture have lower leg restraints similar to Yolo
  4. That is exactly what you're expressing interest in. Trust the designers, it's not like anyone's going to give you an answer, none of us know the technicalities of the ride better than RMC.
  5. It is silly to be worried about rocky mountain construction not using blocks properly for this ride. I'm not saying you shouldn't post your concern, but it's a nonsensical one.
  6. There's absolutely no need for this speculation at this point. Any and all variables you're discussing were probably accounted for when the ride was being engineered. You can obsess about blocks when the rides closer to completion or when it's open, but at the moment it is coming off as really silly.
  7. I totally get what you mean by a "fuller layout". Although I don't know about the ride being downgraded because of the route they chose. We'll see when it opens, but it honestly looks like the most efficient and creative design choice they could've gone with. Maybe it's exactly what the park needs. They could've gone with the idea of making the lift structure support the new worlds tallest wooden coaster (a way to easy move to be made by SFMM), but instead they chose to be cost efficient and with that came innovation. It also retains that charm the original had.
  8. ^ I suspect the animation makes the ride seem a little faster than it actually is. Also you're probably gonna take a while to get off that first block, and those lifts might not be as fast as they are in the animation either. Either way 4 minutes being marketed makes it sound like the full ride is going to be closer to a 3 minute experience. Edit- straight from the article. So I guess it's safe to say the animation is indeed a bit sped up. Which is fine by me, the longer I'm in that zero-g stall the better.
  9. This is going to be great. It's really tough for me to imagine how this ride is going feel even after having been on another RMC woodie. It's just so much more...twisty. I mean just look how much you twist on the blue track before entering the second lift hill and after the second time you do the high-five. If any other company even thought of doing this layout they'd probably be snapping people's necks!
  10. Yes, the absolutely dreadful forecast of moderate weather for 3 months straight. How can they possibly get this thing open in time!??
  11. It's a tough choice, but I am going to have to go with Twisted Colossus and Wicked Cyclone as my second most. Even though I think Wicked Cyclone's non-stop elements and fast pacing are going to make for an exceptional ride, even compared to other RMC's, I believe that the amount of innovation and creativity going into Twisted Colossus has me so much more excited. Plus, you're going to be riding it for four minutes with altered layouts and two 130ft drops! Count me the fudge in!
  12. LOL, i had to actually look closer. i knew it said boogie, so i blew it up and it says boogie busters. it's a nasal spray. Ahaha well that's good to know!
  13. ^Is that Elmer's glue I see on the 7th pic? We're screwed. The ride is looking really nice!
  14. Hopefully they implement a forward facing car on Superman's track. Would make the ride have more appeal to me personally. But they probably just got rid of the second car because it wasn't herring the trouble running both sides when the ride isn't getting as much attention from the gp as it was a few years ago.
  15. I challenge you guys to ignore the construction of the ride for 5 weeks! So when you finally see it in construction again you see something closer to the finished product. Well that's what I'm gonna try to do!
  16. This is really neat. Basically the first idea for an X2 type of ride was a recliner on wheels. And it even had extra sensory mechanisms! Only nowadays we use flamethrowers instead of directly electrocuting the passengers.
  17. Really now? You really think they just let it rot risking the safety of the guests? It sounds more like a freak accident to me. And luckily, not a dangerous one. Either that or Apocalypse is just BEGGING for a little RMC topper track while the construction workers are there
  18. Smart move, if a picture of apocalypse popped up online that's just way too much bad publicity for the park in one year. Ninja derailing, colossus catching on fire, and now apocalypse ... Malfunctioning?
  19. Hopefully they fix that situation with apocalypse soon. So, anyone got any new pics of that twisted freakshow of a ride being built?
