  1. So they're working on the support structure of the first drop? Finally, soon that hole at the top will be gone. Tired of seeing it.
  2. You don't use a seatbelt a lot of times yet it's a good measure to have and you can never be too safe? Well it doesn't work if you don't use it, right? Just sayin' but I do get your point. Oh Haha that came out wrong. It's because sometimes I accidentally just sit on the seat belt without noticing. This especially happens on rides with those two-person belts that need you both to hook it up.
  3. I still think, regardless of how safe modern restraint systems are, any additional safety measures are a welcome addition. I know, to enthusiasts we recognize they rarely ever serve a purpose. A lot of the time I don't even use a seat belt. But still, it's a fail safe measure that is good to have, you can never be too safe.
  4. ....orrrr they're a fail-safe in case the restraint malfunctions. Even though it's highly unlikely, it's still possible. You can't take any chances.
  5. I was under the impression that ride is only going to use 3 trains with two always dueling. Makes sense in my mind I guess. 4 trains sounds nice but also very hopeful. Are you sure they said 4?
  6. ^Honestly as a parkgoer I never gave two s!t$ about capacity, as long as I get to ride. I don't know why, I guess I've always just been like that. I should probably change though, I deserve to get what I paid for and that parking fee is ridiculous
  7. You make it sound like getting stapled is a bad thing. I like the way it feels
  8. I think it's 50/50 on which ones are used on the trains. I feel it has more to do with the individual ride and the forces it exerts on the riders. Hopefully we get some comfortable ones!I don't really care either way. So how's TC construction? Has that torrential so.cal fall weather halted construction?
  9. Epcot and Disneyland! That's my wet dream right there.
  10. I get the guy wan'ts to wear glasses on the ride to probably actually see and not have poo-poo be blurry for him, but in that case just get contacts. I know i'd rather be "blind" on a ride then have my glasses fall off or shove contacts atop of my eyes so I just pocket my glasses about 2-3 mins before my boarding. To his credit, duct taping your glasses on actually isn't a bad idea but I would at least make it look nicer.
  11. I just noticed he also put duct tape on his nose. I think it's safe to say he had duct tape on the other side of his head as well. Lol oh man... I think an optical illusion like that would be cool near the entrance of TC. Haha
  12. Scream! Represents your rage as you try to find an open parking space. Genius theming to be honest.
  13. At the end of the day I honestly don't really care what theme we're getting, they all seem nice and interesting! Steampunk feels detached because of the color scheme, but the trains look real nice. And the trailers already use the steampunk theme logo and all, so fudge it! Have at it MM.
  14. I don't think this ride matches with the Joker or any DC related theme really. I say leave that stuff in the DC universe area. The ride looks, like I said before, like it would work best with an exaggerated/over-the-top/crazy/cartoony/scary carnival theme. SATURDAY WAS OFF THE HOOK P A C K E D !!! MUST HAVE BEEN 100,000 PEEPS IN THERE. CARS WERE PARKING IN FILLMORE (WELL THEY WERE PARKING AT NEW SUNKIST BUILDING) .... IT WAS PACKED BUT FUN AT SAME TIME. I PITY PEEPS THAT WERE FIRST TIMERS AND MIGHT NOT HAVE GOTTEN FRONT OF THE LINE MAZE PASSES. THROTTLE PLAZA WAS PLACE TO BE AT SAME TIME DC UNIVERSE HAD THE NUMBERS. I wouldn't be surprised if a fair amount of those guests visited because they saw the animated POV of TC on Facebook and expected it to be open. LOL I highly doubt that. It was Saturday, it's fright fest, there is a good SP deal right now, the weathers nice, it's open till 1am. Not rocket science. Haha yea I know, I'm just messing around but it would be hilarious seeing that one guy ask "where's the entrance to the new colossus?"

  16. Jeeeeez 34k? That probably paid off the burnt hill on TC in one night.
  17. That's what I want for the theme of this ride! It's a nice follow-up to the colossus county fair theme. The steampunk theme doesn't match well. And the car is actually better like that in my opinion, just minus the weird clown face.
  18. When I see twisted Colossus, I think of a theme more along the lines of a cartoony exaggerated carnival ride.
  19. I just messed around and timed it for El toro 5 times. Turned on the sound for the last two times. Total- 2500! ahh that's cheating
  20. Yea, I have a feeling we're going to be getting a little more than 18 airtime moments. And then if you factor in the back row seats on the first drops? I'm going to pop a blood vessel in my eye by the time I'm on the second lift.
